Lookism: New Life

The next morning, Ryu woke up from the sun shining in his eyes. He stretched his arms and sat up, checking the time—6:23 AM.

It was still early, but he couldn't afford to be lazy.

He got up, took a quick shower, and made himself a light breakfast—just enough to fill his stomach without slowing him down. As he ate, his mind wandered back to last night's decision.

He had chosen his teacher.

He was going to learn fighting from Gun just like in the manhwa and also learn to use weapon from Goo.

"I should convince Gun like how Daniel did in the manhwa, but convincing Goo... I will think about it later"

Ryu finished his meal, grabbed his school bag, and left his apartment.

Arriving at school, he casually strolled through the hallways, scanning his surroundings. 

Ryu spotted Jay in the hallway.

He thought back to how things unfolded in the manhwa and decided to replicate it.

With purposeful steps, he walked forward and bumped into Jay just enough to make him fall.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't see you," Ryu said, extending a hand toward him.

Jay looked up, his expression blank as always. He gave a small nod, accepting the hand and pulling himself up.

"Guess he really doesn't talk much, just like in the manhwa," Ryu thought.

"What's your name?" he asked, even though he already knew.

"It's Jay," Jay replied in his usual quiet manner.

Ryu smirked. "Anyway, see you later—if fate allows."

Jay simply nodded again before walking off.

"Alright, talking to Jay is done. Now, I just need to meet Vasco, Vin, and some of the others."

Ryu returned to his classroom, spending the next few hours chatting with Zack and attending class.

When lunchtime arrived, he decided it was time to act. He planned to stop Vin from bullying Duke infront of Vasco.

It would make him look like a hero in front of Vasco. Not only would this get him on Vasco's good side, but it would also allow him to befriend Duke.

After quickly finishing his lunch, he went looking for Vin.

It didn't take long.

Near the stairs, he spotted Vin harassing Duke, just like in the original story. But there was a problem—Vasco wasn't there yet.

"Damn, I can't just jump in yet," he thought, carefully hiding behind a corner.

A few minutes later, he finally saw Vasco approaching from the hallway.

"Perfect timing."

Without hesitation, Ryu stepped forward and grabbed Vin's wrist, stopping him from slapping Duke.

Vasco's eyes immediately focused on the scene.

Vin turned to Ryu, his face twisted in annoyance. "Let go of my hand."

Ryu remained calm. "Stop bullying him."

Vin's irritation grew, and he tried to grab Ryu with his other hand—but Ryu was faster. He swiftly landed a solid punch to Vin's ribs, followed by a sharp kick to his stomach, sending Vin stumbling down the stairs.

"Ugh…!" Vin groaned as he caught himself before completely falling.

He then went to grab Ryu.

Vasco, who had been observing the commotion, suddenly stepped in, standing between Ryu and Vin.

"I hate bad guys," Vasco said, glaring at Vin.

Vin clenched his fists, his anger boiling over. Just as he was about to retaliate, Zack appeared.

"What's going on here?" Zack asked, glancing between them.

Ryu shrugged. "That sunglasses guy was bullying him, so I stepped in."

Zack chuckled, turning to Vin. "You hear that SuNGlasSEs."

Vin's face turned red with anger. "You shitty boxer!"

The tension between them skyrocketed.

Vasco and Zack both took fighting stances, preparing for a potential brawl. Vin, fueled by rage, also got ready to fight.

Just when things were about to explode—

Mary appeared.

She grabbed Vin by the ear and dragged him away, completely unfazed by the scene.

"Ow! Let go, Mary!" Vin protested, but she ignored him, dragging him down the hall.

With the situation diffused, Duke turned to Ryu and gave a small bow. "Thank you."

Ryu smiled. "No problem. My name's Daniel. What's yours?"

"I-It's Duke," he replied with a grateful expression.

Ryu turned to Zack and Vasco. "Thanks for the backup, Zack. And you too"

Vasco puffed out his chest. "It's my duty to eliminate bad guys."

Before anyone could say more, the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch break.

They all exchanged glances before heading off to their respective classes.

After school, Ryu left the building, his mind already racing with plans.

"I need to fight stronger enemies."

Now that he had built some connections, it was time to level up his strength.

He needed real battles.

A smirk formed on his lips.

"Time to find my next target."

I might need to make some orignal characters for Ryu to fight in the next chapter so you can give me the character's name as I am not good with names.

Also I dropped another series where Daniel reads the Lookism webtoon the same day of getting his new body. Male sure to read it since the plot is good.
