Lost in the labyrinth of love

Chapter 20: Chapter 18: The Truth Comes to Light (2)

An Unforeseen Encounter

Minh Hoang entered the classroom, his mind still clouded after the conversations with Duat Van and Hao Thien. Hao Thien's words echoed in his head: "If you don't want to be dragged into this war, it's best to stay away from me."

But how could he? Minh Hoang was already too deep into this, not only because of Hac Kim but also because of the people around him, the people he couldn't abandon.

Sitting down at his desk, Minh Hoang turned to look at Thanh Khai. He was bent over reading a book, his familiar cold expression evident. But Minh Hoang knew that deep inside this boy, there was an affection that was not easily revealed. They had gone through many storms together, but this time, things would not be simple.

"Thanh Khai," Minh Hoang spoke, his voice no longer as gentle as usual. "Do you believe that everything between us will be as easy as before?"

Thanh Khai looked up, his eyes sharp. "You're thinking about Hac Kim?"

Minh Hoang nodded. "Hao Thien is not just someone in the upper class. He also has a relationship with Hac Kim. And now, Hao Nhien is no longer an unknown name."

Thanh Khai smirked slightly, not surprised. "Did you think we could be safe in this world? Everything always has secrets that we cannot fully understand. But if Hac Kim has begun to notice us, then what should we do?"

Minh Hoang felt the determination in every word Thanh Khai spoke. He not only wanted to protect him but also wanted to engage in this war, no matter how dangerous.

"I won't leave you alone." Thanh Khai suddenly said, surprising Minh Hoang.

Minh Hoang smiled, his heart lighter. "Thank you."

The Clash from Hac Kim

The next day, at an upper-class party, Minh Hoang happened to meet Le Hao Thien again. He still maintained a distant attitude, but Minh Hoang could clearly feel the tension in the air between them.

"Minh Hoang," Hao Thien said, his voice cold. "Do you think you can easily withdraw from Hac Kim? You are in the middle of a game that no one can control."

Minh Hoang gave a mocking smile. "I'm not afraid of Hac Kim. What about you, Hao Thien, can you leave that organization to live your own life?"

Hao Thien's eyes were cold, but there was confusion in them. "You don't understand. You don't understand the price to pay."

Minh Hoang looked at him, never taking his eyes off him. "Then I will understand when I have no other choice."

Just then, a figure appeared from behind, it was Le Vu Hao Nhien, whom Minh Hoang did not expect to be here.

"Minh Hoang, Hao Thien, what are you talking about?" Hao Nhien walked over, his eyes bright with challenge.

Minh Hoang couldn't help but feel stunned. Was the relationship between Hao Thien and Hao Nhien part of Hac Kim's grand scheme? The question remained unanswered.

Hao Thien and Hao Nhien faced each other for a moment, but neither spoke further. Minh Hoang felt a tense atmosphere spread throughout the room.

"I think it's time for you to face the truth." Minh Hoang said, his voice cold.

"Then what do you think?" Hao Nhien replied, his eyes full of challenge.

Minh Hoang looked at them, feeling the invisible wall gradually being erected between them. All three were pawns in a big game that no one could foresee.

The war was not only about power but also about loyalty and affection. Minh Hoang could not simply choose one of the two, because he knew that once he participated, there was no turning back.

Everything had changed, and this war would last longer than he thought.

The Final Revelation: The Truth Behind

One night, when everyone had fallen asleep, Minh Hoang received a mysterious call from a strange number. "I know you're looking for the truth. But there's something you should never know."

The voice made Minh Hoang's blood run cold.

"Friends, relatives, all are just pawns in the hands of Hac Kim. Be prepared. What you know now is not all."

The other end stopped, leaving only the beeping of a disconnected call. Minh Hoang put down the phone, his heart filled with worry.

This was not as simple as he thought. He had entered a world where even the closest people could not be trusted.
