Chapter 5: chapter 5
Zeus, perched atop Mount Olympus, gazed down upon the supernatural realm with growing concern. The chaos and destruction wrought by Derek's return had not gone unnoticed. He then sent athena to go and check what was happening. "go down and see what is happening in king Ryker's kingdom and report to me at once"
Athena nodded amd left. Soon later she came back and reported to zeus "A man who looked like lucifer is terrorizing the supernatural kingdoms with his demon army"
"What!!" Zeus half yelled saying "all the demons were wiped off after lucifer was defeated thousands years ago" assemble all the other gods immediately " he said.
"Brothers and sisters, we must intervene," Zeus, the king of the gods, declared, his voice like thunder. "The balance of power in the supernatural realm is at risk of being upset."
The other gods nodded in agreement, and soon they descended upon the battlefield, their divine presence illuminating the darkening landscape.
Derek, still locked in combat with the supernatural creatures, sensed the arrival of the gods. He turned to face them, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
"Ah, the gods themselves have come to join the fray," Derek said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "How quaint."
Zeus stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "You dare to mock us, Derek?" he thundered. "We are the gods, and you are but a mere mortal."
Derek chuckled, his red eyes glinting with amusement. "Mortal?" he repeated. "Ah, no. I am so much more than that now. I am the vessel of Lucifer's power, and I will not be defeated so easily."
Poseidon, the god of the sea, sneered at Derek. "You think the power of Lucifer makes you a match for us?" he said. "We are the gods, Derek. We have ruled the universe for eons. You are but a fleeting moment in the annals of time."
Derek shrugged, his black wings unfolding behind him. "Perhaps," he said. "But I have something that you do not: the power of darkness. And with that power, I will destroy you all."
The gods charged forward, their divine powers unleashing a barrage of attacks upon Derek. But he stood firm, his body glowing with an otherworldly energy as he absorbed the blows.
The battle raged on, the outcome hanging precariously in the balance. But Derek's power seemed to grow with each passing moment, his connection to Lucifer's energy deepening.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Derek saw his chance. With a swift strike, he knocked Zeus to the ground, sending the king of the gods tumbling to the earth.
The other gods rallied to Zeus' defense, but Derek was too powerful. One by one, he struck them down, his darkness-infused blows sending them crashing to the ground.
As the last god fell, Derek turned to Lika, who had been watching the battle in horror. He reached out, his hand closing around her wrist like a vice.
"Come with me," Derek said, his voice low and menacing.
Lika struggled, but Derek's grip was too strong. He pulled her close, his black wings unfolding around them like a dark cloak.
And then, in an instant, they vanished.
The gods, slowly rising to their feet, stared at the empty space where Derek and Lika had stood. They exchanged worried glances, their faces pale with concern.
"What have we just unleashed upon the world?" Zeus asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
The other gods shook their heads, their faces grim. "We do not know," Poseidon said. "But we must find out. For the sake of the world, we must stop Derek before it's too late."
