Chapter 16: Gorrevil's disasters
Suddenly a darkness ball as always came again and teleported Jack, Zekrin, Brock, kriti, Hipeon, Giratus, Rick, Wekin and Pandrull to the Gorrevil's cave before they could even noticed it, they got teleported.Gorrevil was sitting on a darkness thrown waiting for them as soon as they teleported there Rick got so annoying and said "huh what is even the purpose of us to escape, you just need a minute to teleport us back, man just leave us alone" Gorrevil said "I will, I will leave you all alone when you all will be dead!!!" Pandrull sighs and said "here we go again!" Gorrevil's hand started surrounding with darkness and as soon as he was going to punch pandrull, pandrull dodges it, pandrull then starts jumping so high that he couldn't dodge every attack of Gorrevil, until Gorrevil uses something different. Gorrevil created a large dark energy beams with some purple particles, directly shooting on pandrull causing pandrull to fall in a long distance, Gorrevil then turn around to the group, Jack said "wait wait wait, where is paragon?" Gorrevil suddenly got a little confused and said "I don't know, if he would be here I would just killed him bruh" Zekrin said "he is not here? Huh?" Kriti got a little bit worried about it, Gorrevil looked at them and said "oh so he must be somewhere around here, I will kill him after I kill all of you!" *Gorrevil started creating a dark energy ball, Hipeon gets ready to shoot his energy ball back to him but before even Gorrevil can attack, pandrull stopped him with his claws*. Gorrevil said "ugh what you're alive huh* pandrull said "ha you thought I was dead that easily?" *Pandrull's hand started glowing bright and bright, pandrull punches Gorrevil with his glowing hand and it was very affectfull, Gorrevil falls at a distance, but Gorrevil was still fine at his fighting condition, suddenly Hipeon shoots his neon lasers from back, Gorrevil turned to him, looking unaffected of Hipeon's lasers, and before Gorrevil could do anything, Zekrin attacks Gorrevil but Gorrevil punches Zekrin so hard that he was very highly damaged*. Pandrull jumped and uses his light energy causing the whole cave glowing which Gorrevil couldn't handle. Hipeon smiles and said "this is your end Gorrevil!" Gorrevil was shouting he said "aaaaargh no! Never! I won't die till I kill you all!!!, I will survive this jungle will be of darkness creature and every where will be darkness!!!!!" Suddenly red aura started coming out of Gorrevil, Gorrevil was in his rage form, which makes him look different and more powerful, his power level increases alot, his tooths got sharp his nail got very long and sharp, his eyes was looking scary and in anger, at his back 7 black long tenticles appears, he looks alot scarier and he also look a little bigger than before, everyone was surprised, Rick said "w-w-what the hell is this!" Hipeon looks very serious he said "this is the rage form max, only some powerful creature have this, not even I, have it" Zekrin said "yeah and now he's 10 times more powerful than before, not even gold horn sensei have rage mod" Brock said "not even goldhorn have it? Damn it! Rick looked scared "ten times more powerful? We don't have any chance of winning this battle" pandrull tries to punch Gorrevil but missed, Gorrevil lifted pandrull with one hand and threw him at a distance, pandrull got fall very far at the wall of the cave causing cracks on the walls of cave. Hipeon charging his neon energy ran over Gorrevil, Gorrevil kick Hipeon at his mouth causing Hipeon to knock out at one single move, Zekrin who was already injured tries to stand, before Gorrevil could kill Zekrin, Giratus appears at the middle and starts shooting 30 cactus on Gorrevil, while Gorrevil with a smile could dodge every single cactuse easily. Giratus was about to kick Gorrevil but Gorrevil grabbed Giratus's leg and throw him far away,(not outside the cave). Pandrull starts attacking with the speed of light, from left to right to back to front, so Gorrevil started having some problems to fight with pandrull, pandrull jumped from behind but Gorrevil grabbed his neck. Jack said "guys we have to do something" kriti said "yeah he's right we have to do something" Rick said "but how are we supposed to fight, those mythical creatures can't fight with him so how can us, were human, and weakest here!" Brock said"yeah if we fight we'll die" Jack replied"but even if we don't fight, Gorrevil's gonna kill us anyways, so it's better to fight for our life till our last breath!" Rick understand what Jack was saying he said "you're right, I have something inside my bag," *Rick took out a knife* Brock said "w-why do you even have this?" Rick replied"I mean we all know that this jungle was some kind of mystery so I took some short of weapons for safety you know" Wekin said "you're a psychopath" Jack said "anyways let's use this knife, we all will attack with one knife, at the count of one two and... Three!!!!!!" *Everyone jumped to Gorrevil!, Gorrevil's left hand gets some purple energy, and Gorrevil punches them all causing pandrull to get released and them to fall at deeper of the cave, while they were falling down and shouting Jack shouted while falling "this was a bad idea!!!"* They fall from a hight inside the cave into a big whole full of water, all of them came out of the water all wet. Brock said "brrrrbrr, uaah, all wet, huh, we shouldn't listen to you!" Jack replied "*cough, cough* you guys are alive because of me!" Wekin said"shut up! After Gorrevil would defeated them then he will come for us, we should keep moving and not waste any time" Rick said "yeah this cocky guy is right this time" kriti said "wait before we move forward, we need those black blanket to become a darkness creature" Rick said "oh yeah let me took out those" *Rick took out black blankets* *they all then got ready by dressing as a darkness creature with the help of those black blanket* Brock said "we're ready to go!" *They all move forwarded* scene shifted to paragon who finally woke up out of unconsciousness, was confused he said "huh where am I,oh I remember it's Gorrevil's cave, some darkness wolf were chasing me, and, huh where did those wolf went?" Paragon walked silently cuz he doesn't want to make any sound by flying, he was thinking that danger is very near but he couldn't realise, what to do, he was alone and scared. Anyways scene get back to Jack and other, Jack have made a wooden torch to be safe,
The air inside the cave was damp and heavy, every breath laced with the scent of moss and stagnant water. Jack led the group, his torch flickering in the suffocating darkness, followed closely by Brock, Rick, Wekin, and Kriti. The narrow passage echoed with their footsteps and the distant drip of water.
"I don't like this place," Wekin muttered, his voice trembling.
"Stay close," Jack warned, his eyes scanning the jagged walls for any signs of danger.
Suddenly, a guttural snort echoed from the depths of the cave, followed by the eerie sound of hooves striking stone. A low, menacing growl reverberated through the cavern, sending chills down their spines.
"What was that?" Kriti whispered, gripping Rick's arm.
Before anyone could answer, two glowing red eyes pierced the darkness ahead. Emerging from the shadows was a massive buffalo-like creature, its obsidian-black fur shimmering unnaturally, as though it absorbed the light. Dark mist coiled around its hooves, and its enormous horns gleamed like polished onyx.
"The Darkness Buffalo," Brock breathed, his voice barely audible.
The beast let out an earth-shattering roar, the sound vibrating through their chests. Then, it charged.
The darkness buffalo then spoke up "haha caught you, I saw you all Falling, I didn't attack you that time, instead I hide and watched that what are you all going to do, I know that you're not a darkness creature but the first killing targets of my master Gorrevil, he made me for this day, I'm going to kill you all now!"
"Run!" Jack shouted, his torch swinging wildly as he turned and bolted.
The group scattered, their adrenaline pumping as they sprinted deeper into the labyrinthine cave. The buffalo's hooves thundered behind them, the ground trembling with each step.
"This way!" Jack yelled, veering down a narrow tunnel. The others followed, their breaths coming in ragged gasps.
The buffalo smashed into the walls as it pursued them, shards of rock raining down. The glow of its eyes lit the tunnel, casting monstrous shadows that seemed to claw at the fleeing group.
"We can't outrun it!" Rick shouted.
"Keep going!" Jack barked. "There has to be an exit!"
Ahead, the tunnel split into two paths. Without hesitation, Jack took the left, but Wekin tripped and fell behind.
"Wekin!" Kriti screamed, skidding to a stop.
The buffalo bore down on Wekin, its massive horns lowering for a lethal strike. Just as it lunged, Brock grabbed a loose stalactite from the ground and hurled it at the creature's head. The makeshift weapon struck true, causing the buffalo to roar and momentarily stagger.
"Move!" Brock yelled, hauling Wekin to his feet.
They rejoined the others, who had reached a cavernous chamber with a pool of glowing blue water. The light from the pool illuminated strange symbols on the walls, but there was no time to investigate.
"It's coming!" Kriti shouted, pointing to the tunnel.
Jack spotted a narrow crevice in the far wall. "Through there! It's too big to follow us!"
One by one, they squeezed through the opening, the jagged edges tearing at their clothes. Brock was the last to enter, just as the buffalo charged into the chamber.
The beast skidded to a halt, its glowing eyes locking onto them. It roared in frustration, pawing at the ground, but the crevice was too small for its massive frame. The group watched in tense silence as the buffalo paced outside, the dark mist swirling around its body.
After what felt like an eternity, the creature let out a final bellow and retreated into the shadows.
"Is everyone okay?" Jack asked, his voice hoarse.
Wekin nodded, clutching his scraped arm. "Yeah… barely."
"That was close," Rick muttered, leaning against the wall.
Kriti glanced back at the glowing pool. "What was that thing? And why does this cave feel… alive?"
Jack took a deep breath, his grip tightening on the torch. "I don't know. But I think we're in something far more dangerous than we realized"
Scene changes to the fight between Gorrevil and Pandrull, Zekrin, Giratus and Hipeon.
The cavern trembled as Gorrevil, the massive gorilla wreathed in swirling darkness, bellowed with unbridled rage. His blood-red eyes glared at the four animals that stood before him, their glowing forms stark against the suffocating shadows.
"This isn't good," Zekrin muttered, the blue zebra's mechanical attachments whirring to life. "He's too strong in this form."
"We don't have a choice," Hipeon said, his neon-lit body pulsing with energy. "If we don't stop him, we're all done for."
Gorrevil pounded his fists against the ground, sending shockwaves through the cavern. Rocks splintered, and the walls cracked as his rage surged. With a deafening roar, he charged at the group, his massive form blotting out the faint light in the cave.
"Scatter!" Pandrull shouted, his white and purple fur glowing with radiant light.
The group split apart as Gorrevil's colossal fists smashed into the ground where they had stood. The impact sent debris flying, but the animals quickly regrouped.
"Zekrin, go for his legs!" Giratus yelled, his cactus-like spines bristling.
Zekrin darted forward, his hooves clanging against the stone as his mechanical limbs boosted his speed. Energy surged through his body, and with a leap, he struck Gorrevil's knee with a charged kick. Sparks flew, and the gorilla stumbled slightly, but his rage only grew.
"That barely fazed him!" Zekrin yelled as he dodged a swipe from Gorrevil's massive hand.
"My turn," Hipeon growled. His neon-lit body brightened, and he unleashed a torrent of glowing energy beams from his mouth. The beams struck Gorrevil's chest, searing through the darkness, but the gorilla roared and retaliated with a wave of shadowy tendrils that lashed out at Hipeon.
"Watch out!" Giratus shouted.
The green giraffe leaped into action, his cactus spines launching from his body like a hail of arrows. The spines pierced through the shadowy tendrils, dissipating them before they could reach Hipeon.
"Thanks," Hipeon muttered, retreating to regroup.
Pandrull stepped forward, his body glowing brighter as he summoned a sphere of pure light between his paws. "Enough playing around," he said, his voice calm but commanding.
He hurled the sphere at Gorrevil, and it exploded on impact, bathing the cave in blinding light. Gorrevil roared in pain, the darkness around him wavering as the light pierced through his defenses.
"Keep it up!" Pandrull ordered.
Giratus launched another barrage of spines, targeting Gorrevil's arms to weaken his strikes. Zekrin zipped around the gorilla, his mechanical limbs creating electrical traps to limit Gorrevil's movements. Hipeon fired continuous energy beams, aiming for Gorrevil's head and torso.
But Gorrevil was relentless. Fueled by his rage, he slammed his fists into the ground, creating a massive shockwave that sent all four animals flying.
"This is impossible!" Zekrin groaned, struggling to get up.
"We can't give up!" Pandrull said, his light flaring even brighter. "We have to combine our powers!"
"How?" Giratus asked, his spines regrowing rapidly.
"Follow my lead!" Pandrull shouted. He charged at Gorrevil, his glowing body leaving a trail of light in the darkness. The others followed, attacking in unison.
Zekrin unleashed a high-powered electrical surge from his mechanical limbs, stunning Gorrevil momentarily. Giratus launched his spines in a concentrated blast, targeting the weak points in Gorrevil's shadowy armor. Hipeon channeled his energy into a massive beam, striking Gorrevil's chest and pushing him back.
Pandrull gathered all his light into a radiant orb, larger and brighter than anything he'd ever created. "Now!" he yelled, throwing the orb directly at Gorrevil.
The light consumed the gorilla, burning away the darkness as he let out a final, deafening roar. The cavern shook violently, and then, silence.
As the dust settled, the four animals stood panting, their bodies bruised and battered. Gorrevil lay unconscious, the shadows around him dissipated.
"We did it," Zekrin said, his mechanical limbs sparking.
"Barely," Hipeon muttered, his neon lights dimming.
Pandrull stepped forward, his glow fading but his resolve strong. "Let this be a lesson. Together, we're unstoppable."
Suddenly the unconscious Gorrevil changed into a stone. Everyone was shocked, pandrull mumbrulls "was it the fake Gorrevil?"
They look behind founding the real Gorrevil who they were fighting before they combined there attacks, the real Gorrevil was still very fine and not damaged at all. Zekrin said "okay... We're cooked"
Scene changed to Jack and others
The group huddled together in the narrow crevice, their breathing still ragged from the Darkness Buffalo's attack. The faint light from Jack's torch flickered weakly, casting eerie shadows on the damp cave walls.
"We can't stay here," Jack whispered. "The buffalo's gone, but we're not safe."
Just as he spoke, the sound of slow, deliberate footsteps echoed from the darkness. A chilling voice broke the silence.
"Well, well. Looks like I found some rats in my cave."
The group froze. Emerging from the shadows was a tall, imposing man. His piercing eyes glowed faintly red, and his veins pulsed with an unnatural black energy that radiated malice. He carried a jagged, obsidian blade in one hand, and his movements were unnervingly calm.
"Who… who are you?" Wekin stammered, his back pressed against the wall.
"They call me Drevid," the man said, his voice smooth yet menacing. "Gorrevil has given me the power to end you all. You're trespassers in his domain."
Jack stepped forward, raising his torch like a weapon. "We're not looking for trouble. Let us pass, and we'll leave the cave."
Drevid smirked. "Oh, you'll leave, all right. But only as corpses."
Before anyone could react, Drevid lunged forward with inhuman speed, his blade slicing through the air. Jack barely dodged, the blade grazing his shoulder and leaving a searing black mark.
"Run!" Jack shouted, clutching his wound.
The group scattered, sprinting deeper into the cave. Drevid laughed, the sound echoing like a predator toying with his prey.
"You can't run from me!" Drevid roared, his voice amplified by the dark energy coursing through him.
He raised his hand, and shadowy tendrils shot from his palm, snaking through the air toward the fleeing group. Kriti screamed as a tendril wrapped around her ankle, dragging her to the ground.
"Help!" she cried, clawing at the rocky floor.
Brock turned and charged at Drevid, picking up a loose rock. "Let her go!" he yelled, hurling the stone with all his might.
The rock struck Drevid's face, but he barely flinched. Instead, he grinned, his head tilting unnaturally. "That's all you've got?"
Rick and Wekin grabbed Kriti's arms, pulling her free from the tendril just as Drevid swung his blade, narrowly missing them.
The group fled into a larger cavern illuminated by glowing crystals. "Over here!" Jack called, spotting a narrow ledge that ran along the cavern wall.
One by one, they scrambled onto the ledge, their hearts pounding as Drevid stalked into the cavern. His eyes scanned the room, and his voice dripped with malice.
"You can't hide. Gorrevil's power flows through me. I'll find you."
Rick whispered, "We can't outrun him forever. What do we do?"
Jack's eyes darted around the cavern, landing on a cluster of stalactites hanging precariously above Drevid. "We can't fight him, but we can slow him down."
He motioned for the others to move quietly along the ledge. As Drevid's footsteps drew closer, Jack grabbed a loose rock from the ledge and hurled it at the stalactites.
The impact sent the sharp rocks crashing down toward Drevid. He looked up just in time to see the jagged shards raining down. With a snarl, he raised his blade, slicing through some of the falling debris, but several stalactites struck his shoulders and back, forcing him to his knees.
"Now!" Jack yelled, leading the group toward a tunnel on the far side of the cavern.
Drevid roared, his body radiating dark energy as he pushed himself to his feet. The wounds on his body healed almost instantly, the darkness fueling him.
"You'll pay for that!" he bellowed, launching a wave of shadow energy that cracked the walls and sent tremors through the cave.
The group stumbled but kept running. The tunnel ahead was narrow and twisted, forcing them to slow down. Drevid's laughter echoed behind them, growing louder.
"We're running out of time!" Wekin panted.
Kriti suddenly stopped and pointed to a small opening in the wall. "In here!" she said, crawling through the gap.
The others followed, squeezing into a hidden chamber filled with glowing blue water. They crouched behind a large boulder, holding their breath as Drevid's footsteps approached.
He stopped just outside the chamber, his glowing eyes scanning the tunnel. "You can't hide forever. Gorrevil's power will find you, no matter where you go."
After a tense moment, Drevid growled and moved on, his footsteps fading into the distance.
The group exhaled in relief. "That was too close," Brock whispered.
"But he'll be back," Jack said grimly. "And next time, we might not be so lucky."
Scene changes to paragon
The oppressive darkness of the cave pressed in on Paragon from all sides. His tiny wings fluttered, but the weight of the air made it hard to stay aloft. He couldn't see much—only shadows, shapes that slithered and scuttled in the periphery of his vision. The air was thick, almost suffocating, and Paragon knew that staying still for too long would mean trouble.
Suddenly, a faint, eerie glow appeared in the distance—soft and alluring. Soul Lanterns. Paragon flapped harder, instinctively heading toward a narrow tunnel on the left, hoping to avoid them. The glow was unsettling, like eyes watching him, but he couldn't stop. He had to keep moving.
Just as he neared the tunnel, the sound of a faint rustle echoed through the darkness. Paragon froze. His small heart pounded in his chest. Then came the skittering, the unmistakable sound of legs scraping the cave floor. Shadow Spiders. He could barely make out their forms against the black walls, but their silhouettes were unmistakable—tall, sleek, and moving in patterns too precise to be random.
The webs. He knew they were close.
Paragon darted sideways, narrowly avoiding a large sticky thread that shot past him. It collided with the rock face, leaving a shimmering residue in the air. The webs were made of pure darkness, so fine they were almost invisible unless the light hit them just right. Paragon gritted his teeth, trying not to panic. His small wings beat harder as he squeezed through the narrowest of openings, feeling the webbing brush against his tail.
A chilling screech rang out, and Paragon froze again. A sound so high-pitched it made his bones vibrate. Echo Bats. Blind but deadly, they relied on their screeches to find their prey. He couldn't stay still—Paragon darted through the tunnel, knowing if he didn't move, they'd find him.
The bats followed, their high-pitched cries growing louder and louder. Paragon flinched, instinctively covering his ears with his wings, but the shrill sound was relentless. He squeezed through another gap in the rock, the bats' shrieks echoing through the cavern, bouncing off the walls, making it impossible to pinpoint his direction.
Ahead, the path seemed to open up, but just as he flew forward, something shifted beneath him. The ground rumbled, and the shadows themselves seemed to move, forming into a new obstacle—Shifting Shadows. A section of the cave floor twisted, the darkness itself rising to create a wall of thick, moving blackness.
Paragon took a sharp breath and looped upwards, just in time to avoid being consumed by the ever-shifting abyss. But now, with his energy running low and the sense of being followed growing stronger, he realized he was far deeper into the cave than he ever imagined.
And in this darkness, he was utterly alone.
Paragon said "what the heck is going on! I need to find a way to everyone else, I need to find them as fast as I can!"
Scene changes to Zekrin and others.
The cave's walls felt like they were closing in, each echoing footstep of Gorrevil shaking the ground beneath their feet. Hipeon's wings were ragged and weak, his movements unsteady as he struggled to keep pace with his companions. The battle with the fake Gorrevil had taken everything out of them. Giratus limped behind, her massive form bruised and slow, every step making the ground tremble. Pandrull's once-glowing tail flickered faintly, his energy drained. Zekrin's scales were cracked, his usual resilience shattered by the brutal fight.
"We need to find a way out!" Hipeon spat, his wings barely keeping him aloft. "There's no way we can face him again like this."
Pandrull's fiery tail flickered dimly, as if losing its last embers of power. "We're not going to make it."
The sound of Gorrevil's roar reverberated through the stone, growing louder with each passing second. The air felt suffocating, the darkness pressing in around them as they dashed through narrow passages. Every twist and turn seemed like another dead end. Time was running out.
"Where's the exit?!" Zekrin growled, his claws scraping against the rough stone floor as he sped forward.
"There!" Paragon's voice pierced the air. The small creature darted out from a crevice in the wall, his wings flapping frantically as he zipped past them. "This way! It's a way out!"
In a blur of motion, Paragon led them to a narrow tunnel, hidden from Gorrevil's view. The walls were smooth, and the path seemed to go deeper into the cave. The dim light from Paragon's body, glowing faintly like a spark in the darkness, was the only source of guidance. The creatures followed, moving as fast as their battered bodies would allow.
Just as they reached the mouth of the tunnel, a deafening crash shook the ground. Gorrevil had found them, his massive form filling the entrance, his eyes glowing with rage.
"There's no time!" Hipeon screamed. "Move!"
But it was too late. With a roar, Gorrevil surged forward, his huge body crushing the rocks at the entrance, sending debris flying. The tunnel collapsed behind them, cutting off any chance of retreat.
The four mythicals scrambled to find cover, their strength failing them as the cave itself seemed to collapse around them. Paragon's wings flapped faster, his tiny body darting through the crumbling cave.
"Paragon!" Jack's voice came from ahead, his face appearing through the dust. "Get them to safety! Hurry!"
Jack, Brock, Rick, Wekin, and Kriti were standing at the end of the cave, their eyes wide with fear but determined. They had been following the mythicals' trail, but they had no idea the danger was so close.
"Gorrevil's here," Brock shouted, glancing over his shoulder at the massive shadow of Gorrevil advancing down the tunnel. "We need to move!"
Paragon's eyes locked with Hipeon's. "Follow me! I know another way!"
With the sound of Gorrevil's roar vibrating the walls, the small group rushed forward, dodging falling rocks and collapsing walls. They ran down winding paths, the light from Paragon's small body just barely enough to illuminate their path. As they rounded a corner, Zekrin's legs gave out, his strength utterly spent. He collapsed to the ground, barely managing to catch his breath.
"We can't go on like this!" Zekrin gasped.
"There's no choice," Giratus growled, her voice filled with determination despite her exhaustion. "We have to keep moving or Gorrevil will destroy us all."
They didn't stop. They couldn't. Each echo of Gorrevil's roar sent shivers through their spines. As the tunnel twisted and turned, they stumbled upon a hidden chamber—one they had never seen before, even in their travels through the cave.
The air in the chamber was thick, heavy with the scent of earth and stone. In the center, a massive stone exit of cave stood, its surface covered with strange markings and glowing symbols.
"Is this the exit?" Hipeon asked, his voice full of hope.
Paragon didn't answer. Instead, he darted toward the door, flapping his wings as he hovered near the symbols. "It might be!"
Suddenly, a massive roar echoed from behind them, shaking the cave to its very core. Gorrevil was almost upon them.
Suddenly the entrance got blocked by large rocks which falls down due to Gorrevil's telekinesis power.
Now they all couldn't run away, Gorrevil was coming Rick shouted "whoever moves first is gay!" Gorrevil stopped, and everyone stops moving, five seconds later Gorrevil said "there are many creatures in this jungle, and they are moving!" Rick replied "oops I didn't think about that!" Gorrevil created a large darkness ball which was larger than Gorrevil itself, it looks like a black hole but it wasn't a black hole, Gorrevil was about to attack them and.... Boom wait till the next chapter to come
Sorry for the delay of this chapter guys I was really busy and I even got sick 2 times, and my grandfather died, (today's excuse done ✅)
