After everything was done, Arthur let the man bleed out while he sat at the computer and went through the files one by one.

Truthfully, Arthur had already gone through these materials more than once, but this time... it was about psychological manipulation.

Hydra agents were never easy to deal with. If it weren't for Arthur's overwhelming strength, which made him feel completely powerless, and if he hadn't lost his suicide weapons and poisoned fangs, there would have been no opportunity for Arthur's so-called "psychological manipulation".

But right now, it was perfect. The more Arthur ignored him, the more nervous the man became.

He couldn't figure out what Arthur was up to, and that made him even more anxious.

As he watched Arthur stare at the screen without blinking, a fine layer of cold sweat began to form on his forehead. He was worried.

Through careful observation, Arthur noted every change in the man's expression.

But Arthur couldn't help but wonder - what exactly was he worried about? Although there was a lot of information, and some of the names listed were crucial, was it really enough to make him so anxious?

The two of them remained in this tense standoff, with Arthur quietly reviewing the information. Occasionally, the sound of a mouse click broke the silence, creating an odd rhythm.

It wasn't unpleasant at first, but as time passed, the sound began to feel like a heavy hammer, relentlessly pounding on the man's heart.

Suddenly, he gritted his teeth, gathered all his strength, and lunged toward the wall, intending to smash his head against it.

But in the next second, he felt a powerful force grab his leg and throw him into the air.

Before he could even hit the ground, he saw that the one holding him was a massive figure standing over three meters tall, with a body as hard as stone, he seemed to have been polished a thousand times, looking indestructible.

The shock was overwhelming, and the words almost slipped out of his mouth: "It's you!"

"Who?"

Arthur asked the question just as the Abomination had grabbed the man's leg and lifted him, forcing him to look directly at Arthur.

The large figure sat casually in a chair with his legs crossed. One hand rested on his knee, while the other supported his chin, as he watched the man with an indifferent expression. "So, what's your excuse now?"

"Turns out... it's you!"

The man sneered and said, "But if it's you, then it's not that surprising."

"It seems like you know more about me than I expected," Arthur said with a slight smile.

But the man shook his head. "If we truly understood you, there would have been no way for you to capture me."

"That's a good point," Arthur acknowledged. "So, it seems you've been deceived..."

The man, still held upside down, turned pale, though it was unclear whether from anger or the rush of blood to his head.

After that, the man didn't say another word, and it was as if he had seen through the world, his mind empty and hopeless.

Arthur didn't want to go through all of this just to break someone's will. He said, "Actually, there's something I want to talk to you about..."

"Kill me." The man glanced at Arthur as he spoke. "You won't get any information from me."

Arthur sighed, "I know, so I plan to conduct an experiment on you..."

"Experiment?"

The man's expression changed, and he glanced at the equipment beside him. He knew exactly what it was, having used it countless times before. This machine looked identical to the one he had used, except for the color.

"You want to brainwash me?" His face darkened.

Arthur blinked. "You are a smart man."

The Abomination lumbered over and handed the man to Arthur.

As they got closer, the man suddenly used his remaining hand to strike at Arthur's face!

"You're wasting your time."

Arthur grabbed the man's wrist with one hand and clutched his throat with the other. As the Abomination released him, the man was already in Arthur's grip. Arthur pushed him into the chair and secured his limbs, then placed a metallic device on his head. "Tell me, what kind of electrical current will cause you pain and make you collapse, but not kill you?"

"You are the Devil!"

"It's ironic to hear that from your mouth..." Arthur said flatly. "I've heard that people who are brainwashed can never fully recover. How about this: I'll brainwash you, and if it fails, you'll die, which would be a release for you. If I succeed, I'll send you back to Hydra and turn you into my undercover agent!"

"You can't succeed..." The man, using his only free hand, tried to remove the metal helmet on his head, but the pain kept him from succeeding.

"Your files have examples and instructions on how to brainwash people." Arthur smiled. "Why do you think I can't succeed?"

"…Even if you succeed, it will only be temporary." The man said through clenched teeth, his face contorted with pain. "Brainwashing must be ongoing. If it's interrupted even once, memories will start to recover. Lies will eventually be exposed, and the truth will come out…"

At this point, he suddenly stopped speaking. His pupils contracted as he noticed someone new standing beside Arthur.

His hands were bound by strange metallic restraints behind his back, and he sat motionless on the floor.

"Winter Soldier!"

He murmured, and then it dawned on him. "So this is your plan!!!"

Arthur sighed softly. "I forgot... it would be this simple."

Just as Arthur had said, the documents contained detailed instructions on how to brainwash someone. However, they didn't provide a way to undo the effects.

This left Barnes' situation unresolved, and the mystery of how to help him recover remained. Arthur held a key that might reveal the truth but didn't know how to get him to speak...

So, he had Harry build this device, using the brainwashing instructions on the computer to make the man truly believe that Arthur intended to brainwash him.

But what Arthur really needed was a method to reverse the brainwashing effects.

"As long as we prevent him from being brainwashed for a certain period, he'll start to recover."

Arthur glanced at Bucky and sighed. "So, this time has really been wasted."

If he had known this earlier, if he hadn't frozen Barnes' time and placed him in the Disassemble space, perhaps Bucky would have started remembering things by now.
