Marvel: I Started by Containing SCPs

Chapter 281: Chapter 281

[As the interdimensional rift appeared, countless strands of hair emerged from within, swiftly seizing all the members of the task force and dragging them into the rift.

After that, the task force members never emerged again, nor was there any further communication from them.

The little ghost girl crawled toward the rift. As soon as she entered, the interdimensional rift vanished.]

[In the next moment, everything returned to normal. The laboratory, which had suddenly lost power, was restored instantly, allowing those outside to enter at last—but it was too late.]

Tony Stark: "Electromagnetic weapons really can counter ghosts! This approach is definitely correct!"

Nick Fury: "That's not the main issue. The real question is—what's with that hair? Was the ghost herself rescuing her servant? But why? Would a being of that level really care about such things?"

Odin: "Perhaps it's a matter of pride. If your subordinate is captured and you do nothing, it's quite humiliating."

Whitebeard: "Exactly. If any of my children were bullied, I'd definitely step in!"

Robin: "But why does Sadako also use her hair to attack? Do all female ghosts prefer using their hair?"

Manigault: "I've never seen that before."

Aiakos: "I have plenty of female ghost servants, but none of them have used that trick."

Bruce Wayne: "Well, a woman's hair, when swung rapidly, can be quite dangerous. Maybe she's exploiting that aspect."

Dan Moroboshi: "That's not the issue. The real question is—where is Sadako's true form? Could it be inside the videotape?"

Daigo: "Maybe she exists in a digital world, similar to Digimon."

Naruto: "Then how do we pull the ghost out?"

Dan Moroboshi: "We'll just have to wait for the screen to show us the answer."

["After sacrificing a task force, the higher-ups recognized Sadako's terrifying nature. She was even more troublesome than Kayako. At least they knew where Kayako's domain was. But Sadako's domain remained unknown. The only current means of containment was preventing anyone from watching the videotape. However, this was only a temporary measure.

As long as Sadako existed, it was inevitable that one day she would no longer need a videotape to manifest. Therefore, they had to find a way to deal with her.

To counter Sadako, the Containment Foundation decided to use Pandora's Box and have Abel and Cain participate in the videotape experiment.

First, Abel was made to watch the videotape. Seven days later, he died of a heart attack. However, he quickly resurrected inside his crucifix coffin. Upon revival, he was furious and determined to hunt Sadako down. Unfortunately, Sadako never targeted him again, no matter how many times he watched the tape.

Perhaps she realized Abel was unkillable and didn't want to waste her time. This made us realize that even when spreading her curse through the videotape, Sadako consciously chose her targets.

Next, Cain was subjected to the experiment. He watched the tape, but seven days later, nothing happened. The curse did not affect him—perhaps the virus had been reflected back?

This piqued the curiosity of the Containment Foundation. If the curse was reflected, what would its effects be? They arranged for another death row inmate to watch the tape, but the curse and virus remained unchanged."]

["Following this, the next plan was implemented—having Abel participate in capturing the little ghost girl.

When Sadako appeared, Abel would engage her. Since the little ghost girl bore a striking resemblance to Sadako and was her servant, the Foundation began referring to them as 'Little Sadakos.'

The Containment Foundation hoped to use Abel's power to seize Sadako when she attempted to rescue her servant. To ensure the operation's success, they equipped Abel with an unstoppable cleaver."]

[The scene switched to another laboratory with a different setup. There were no electronic devices, only the dissected corpse of a woman. From the woman's split-open abdomen, a Little Sadako crawled out, scuttling across the room in search of electronic devices to return to Sadako.

However, after searching everywhere and failing to find any, she used telekinesis to pry open a door and attempted to escape.

At that moment, the Mobile Task Force stormed in, deploying electromagnetic pulse weapons. The powerful waves injured the Little Sadako, and an electromagnetic net was used to capture her, preventing movement.]

["As expected, the moment the Little Sadako was harmed, an interdimensional rift the size of a television screen appeared.

Just like before, numerous tentacle-like strands of hair emerged, grabbing the task force members. Even against electromagnetic weapons, the hair tentacles remained completely unaffected."]

["In this dire situation, Abel arrived. He swung his black sword, severing the hair, then grinned maliciously at the interdimensional rift and snarled:

'So you're the one who killed me last time? Die!'

Abel didn't care whether his opponent was an evil spirit or anything else—he simply killed anything in his sight. With his black sword in hand, he charged into the interdimensional rift.

We had no concerns about his survival."]

["First, Abel possessed the ability of infinite resurrection. Additionally, his weapon could harm spiritual entities.

When we attempted to contain Kayako previously, Abel's sword had successfully wounded her.

Thus, we were highly confident in Abel."]

["Following Abel's lead, the heavily armed task force members stormed into the interdimensional rift, armed to the teeth with anti-ghost weaponry, determined to explore the unknown.

They carried the most advanced equipment, designed to withstand all forms of interference and transmit live footage from within the rift.

However, strangely, even this state-of-the-art technology was disrupted. The only thing visible on the screen was static, leaving us completely unaware of what was happening inside."]

["The high-ranking officials of the Containment Foundation waited outside with bated breath, their eyes glued to the interdimensional rift, hoping for good news.

However, what happened next shocked them."]

["Chunks of mutilated corpses began being thrown out of the rift, painting the laboratory floor in a gruesome shade of red.

The body parts kept coming, almost covering the entire lab in blood and flesh."]

["Finally, Abel was ejected from the rift. He got up, cursing, and tried to charge back in—but before he could, the rift vanished."]
