Marvel: Transmigrated with Travelling Frog?!

Chapter 293: Chapter 293: Defeating Ronan

On the battlefield, Alan was cutting down Kree soldiers one after another. Ronan stood in the distance, observing it all, his expression dark and disbelieving. He refused to accept that a single man could destroy his entire army. To him, Alan was nothing more than a walking corpse, bound to fall at any moment.

But he was wrong.

Not only was Alan swiftly dispatching his soldiers, but his actions also reignited the Nova Corps' resistance. To Ronan's dismay, two additional women had joined the fray, each equally formidable.

Gwen, clad in a symbiote suit, moved like a phantom through the ranks of Kree soldiers. Each kick sent a soldier flying. Thanks to the shared vision provided by her Venom symbiote, no one could land a sneak attack on her.

Meanwhile, Wanda's battle was even more overwhelming. Kree soldiers who dared approach her were blasted away by her chaos magic, many falling in droves. The two women carved a path through the Kree forces, clearing the way for Alan to confront Ronan.

"Ronan," Alan said, standing face-to-face with the Kree warlord. "The Power Stone isn't on Xandar."

Ronan sneered and shook his head, unwilling to believe a word.

"Do you think you can deceive me? I've already traced the Power Stone to Xandar, and soon it will be mine!"

Alan chuckled. "I'm not lying. The Power Stone isn't on Xandar because... it's with me."

Ronan's eyes lit up with greed. Raising his hammer-shaped weapon, he roared, "Hand over the Power Stone!"

Holding his Aurora Sword, Alan looked at Ronan calmly.

"Do you really think I'd be foolish enough to give it to you?"

Infuriated by Alan's refusal, Ronan charged with his hammer, and the two clashed fiercely. Wanda and Gwen, meanwhile, continued dealing with the remaining Kree soldiers.

Alan had more than just his Aurora Sword; the Green Lantern Ring on his finger granted him immense power. He summoned countless weapons from behind him, all flying toward Ronan. Initially, Ronan was forced into retreat, struggling to defend himself.

Then, as if reaching his breaking point, Ronan slammed his hammer into the ground with a thunderous roar. A powerful shockwave rippled outward, shattering all of Alan's conjured weapons.

"Enough! Surrender the Power Stone!" Ronan bellowed.

By now, Ronan's soldiers had been completely wiped out. What began as an invasion of Xandar had turned into a massacre—for the Kree. All because of the man standing before him.

Nova Corps members, reinvigorated by the battle, gathered around Alan. Gwen and Wanda joined his side, and Quill's group emerged from the prison to witness the battlefield.

Ronan was surrounded, with no chance of escape.

"It seems," Alan said coldly, "no one here wants to see you leave alive."

Ronan glanced around, realizing his predicament. He knew there was no way out. Slowly raising his hammer, he aimed it toward a distant Kree warship and muttered something under his breath. Alan's instincts flared with an intense sense of danger.

Ronan intended to detonate the warship and take everyone down with him.

"Evacuate Xandar! He's going to self-destruct!" Alan shouted.

The warning sent shivers through everyone present as alarms blared from the Kree warship. Groot glanced at the group, his expression resolute. He seemed to have made up his mind.

Alan, aware of what was about to happen, flew toward Groot. He knew that in this timeline, Groot would sacrifice himself. While Alan was fond of the little Groot, he couldn't stand to see him die.

"Don't worry," Alan said to Groot. "I'll save them."

"I am Groot," Groot replied.

The Green Lantern Ring translated the words into Alan's ears: Thank you.
