Marvel's Black Steel

Chapter 243: Chapter 241: Spider-Man & Green Goblin

After texting Sara back, prompting her to reply with a heart and cucumber emoji, I quickly caught up to Emma, who entered a room, prompting me to do the same, only for a suit to be tossed onto me without warning.

"That is your suit. Quickly change, we're leaving in 10." Said Emma lightly while glancing at Tut before sitting at a desk with a mirror as she applied make-up.

"Alright, but stop with the make-up; it makes you uglier… it also clogs your pores and can damage your skin." Remarked Tut with a nod as he glanced at Emma while entering the bathroom, causing her to smile softly before lowering her hand.

Closing the door behind me, I unzipped the bag, revealing a purple suit with a black tie, handkerchief, and belt, causing me to whistle since, even before putting it on, I knew I'd look amazing.

"Purple is also my favorite color as well. If it were anyone else, I'd just say coincidence." Muttered Tut with a faint smirk as he quickly changed clothes.

Tightening the tie around my neck, I grabbed the brush I always keep on me and brushed my hair before looking in the mirror, causing me to click my tongue.

"Tsk, damn, I look good. Oh, I should send this to Mom, Sara, and Jean." Said Tut with a smirk as he stared at himself in the mirror before leaving the bathroom, only to see Emma calmly sitting at the desk.

"I must say, I do envy you… I could never wear purple as good as you." Said Emma with a faint sigh as she enviously looked at Tut, who grinned at her words while tossing her his phone.

"Here, can you take a few pics before I go? My girls will love this. Oh, I'm also keeping this suit." Asked Tut with a smile as he quickly shot a pose while Emma faintly nodded before standing up.

"I had that suit tailor-made specifically for you, so, by all means, keep it." Replied Emma lightly as she took a few photos of Tut, who had taken a few different poses before grabbing his phone from her.

"Eh, tailor-made? When the hell did you get my measurements?" Asked Tut with a confused gaze as he stared at Emma, who merely responded by flashing him a smile.

"Come, let us go." Said Emma lightly as she approached the door, only to suddenly stop.

Although I wanted questions, I knew she wouldn't answer them, so with a sigh, I walked past her and opened the door for her as she continued walking.

"You catch on quickly." Remarked Emma with a faint smirk as she glanced at Tut, who rolled his eyes while following behind her.

Since I was now acting as Emma's bodyguard, I performed menial tasks, like opening doors for her, following behind her, intensely eyeing everyone who happened to walk just a bit too close to her and other things I'd seen bodyguards do in movies.

"So, um, which car is yours?" Asked Tut quietly as he followed Emma out of the hotel while glancing at the various expensive and luxurious vehicles, prompting her to point at an all-white one.

Whistling, I followed Emma as we neared her all-white Rolls-Royce; I don't know exactly how expensive these things were, but I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't drop at least a few million on this car.

"And it's a drop-top? How much did this bitch cost Emma?" Muttered Tut with wide eyes as he trailed his hand across the hood before glancing at Emma, who smirked while tossing him the keys.

"I'll let you figure that out for yourself, though I will give a slight hint… it's the same model as the Queen's." Replied Emma softly as she glanced at Tut, who unlocked the car before opening the door, prompting her to enter.

"The Queen's? Do you mean the Queen of England? Fuck a few million, this thing is at least 15 mil." Said Tut with a shocked expression while closing the door before entering the driver's seat.

To ensure I didn't damage it, I enveloped the Rolls-Royce in my bio-electric aura before turning the ignition, prompting the car to instantly rumble to life.

"Man, a car that actually starts when you tell it to? Now, that's luxury." Muttered Tut lightly as he squeezed the steering wheel with a satisfied smile.

"You know where Fisk Industries is, correct?" "Yep, so just sit back and enjoy the ride, beautiful." Remarked Emma and Tut, respectively, as the former curiously glanced at the latter, who nodded with a smirk before winking in the rearview mirror.

As I didn't have to worry about damaging this car, I whipped this bitch out of the hotel and onto the road without any worries; although I did get a glare from Emma, she remained silent and silently sat in the back.

'Hmm, what songs do you listen to?' Thought Tut curiously as he pressed play on the stereo, prompting the CD inside to play.

"Beethoven?" "It's calming." Remarked Tut and Emma, respectively, as the former raised an eyebrow in confusion while the latter glanced at him before closing her eyes, humming the music.

Well, since this wasn't my car, I just left the music on, and although it wasn't my preference, it honestly wasn't that bad—just not my taste. However, while driving through New York, we encountered traffic, which was expected. This time, it was because of a burning building, which caused me to click my tongue as I prepared to get out and handle it.

"Haa, go ahead… It'll save us time anyway." Said Emma lightly as she glanced at Tut, who nodded, only for him to suddenly stop loosening his tie.

Stopping myself, I rolled down the window and gazed at the sky as I watched Pete, or I should say Spider-Man, enter the burning building with acrobatic finesse that even I internally praised. A few moments later, he exited the building with a baby in his arms, prompting everyone who had been watching to cheer loudly.

"So he's Spider-Man?" "Yeah, he's pretty freaking awesome, right?" Remarked Emma and Tut, respectively, as the former gazed through the window while the latter nodded with a grin.

"You know him, don't you, Pharaoh? If you tell me who he is, I'll graciously reward you." Asked Emma with a faint smirk as she leaned forward while seductively purring into his ear, garnering a slight reaction from him.

"No thanks. I've got two Girlfriends, so while you're sexy as hell, seducing me isn't going to work… Besides, you're not precisely the most trustworthy person, Emma." Replied Tut blandly as he glanced at Emma before gently pushing her back into her seat, causing her to pout before gracefully smiling.

"That's fine. I'll figure out who he is." Muttered Emma with a smile as she glanced at Tut, who rolled his eyes before shaking his head, only for the building to explode.

Glancing back at the building, I saw Pete being flung out of the building while the infamous Green Goblin, who had only appeared a few days ago, suddenly emerged from the building, flying after Pete atop his hoverboard.

'Haa, Norman Osborn.' Thought Tut with a soft sigh as he gazed at the Green Goblin before shaking his head.

With the building still on fire, I released a power breath of ice, snuffing out the flames before quickly rolling up the window.

"Alright, we should get moving soon." Said Tut lightly as he glanced at Emma, who nodded.

After an hour and an extra thirty minutes because of the burning building and Green Goblin, we finally arrived at Fisk Industries. Stopping the car, I kept a stern expression as I exited the vehicle before opening the door for Emma, who gracefully stepped, appearing like a freaking goddess.

Just as I closed the door, a woman wearing a suit and a fake smile approached Emma as she greeted her.

"Mrs. Frost, Mr. Fisk is inside waiting for you." Said the woman respectfully as she looked at Emma, who lightly nodded with an amused smirk.

As Emma and I followed the woman, I felt Emma tap against my mind, causing me to hesitantly lower my barriers, though just enough for her to communicate with me.

'Care to scan the building with your eyes?' Asked Emma lightly as she confidently entered the building while Tut closely followed.

'Already did. Fisk is sitting in his office with a small army of armed men with military-grade rifles. He also has multiple mutant suppression devices pointed directly at his office. To top that all off, there are three snipers in nearby buildings… Seems you're a very dangerous woman.' Replied Tut calmly as he glanced at Emma's behinds before shifting his gaze to the woman to her right.

'Also, that woman is a mutant.' Added Tut while entering the elevator with Emma, who softly hummed before retracting her mind from his.

Once the silent elevator ride ended, we stepped onto the topmost floor of the building and followed the woman to Fisk's office, which two men with fully automatic guns guarded.

"Before entering, you must be pat down." Said the woman with a fake smile as she glanced at Emma while one of the two guards stepped forward.

Emma didn't need to say a word as she simply gave me a glance, which was more than enough as I stepped forward, prompting the guards to raise their weapons, though as if I'd be scared of some mere guns.

However, before they could get the chance to use their useless weapons, I crushed their guns with a squeeze before flicking their chests, sending them crashing into the wall.

"Mrs. Frost doesn't do pat-downs." Stated Tut sternly as he glanced at the woman before silently standing behind Emma.
