Chapter 14: SOULLESS
---
'They are getting too close,' he thought to himself, although seeing Iron Wall came as a surprise to him.
It was obvious Meg wasn't working alone when it came to his betrayal.
Ken didn't even ask a question; he simply dashed straight to the exit, locking eyes with Iron Wall who stood staring back.
Then Iron Wall's body turned gray as it shifted, becoming larger, tearing his upper clothes in the process.
The man who once stood at 6.5 feet was now a warping 7 feet in height, but Ken didn't care.
Iron Wall's hands changed form as they turned into what seemed to be large 4-foot silver blades that reflected the light, adding to their menacing appearance.
Although this was the first time Ken had seen Iron Wall's ability, he didn't seem to care.
The only thing he knew was he couldn't afford to waste any time.
Dashing immediately at him, Ken said words that were new but too familiar, words that confused the now changed Iron Wall,
"SLEEP!" he softly shouted, and immediately, as if Iron Wall was being controlled by some type of magic, his vision faintly closed, then his consciousness rested in the arms of nothing.
Ken, now 3 feet away from Iron Wall, launched a punch so powerful that the air made a sound as the punch moved towards its target.
Dark red energy appeared on his fists as if it were lightning, with textures of black that were almost impossible to see, but it was evident, that punch was...it was...
**CRACK!**
The punch hit Iron Wall, so powerful it woke him up on impact, but he could feel that his body was heavily damaged.
The punch's force was so strong it almost sent him flying, but before he could fly, Ken held him by the head with his left hand, pulling his hair to prevent him from launching away.
Before Iron Wall could react, the same words, "SLEEP!" Again, he felt his consciousness slipping, his vision blurred, but this time before he could even sleep, Ken lifted his body, using the support of Iron Wall's head as a catalyst, launching himself upward, and attacking Iron Wall's face with both knees.
The attack was so powerful that it also had the dark red energy seen from the last one.
Iron Wall was bleeding through his nose; this time he was launched so far, it felt as if his head was the one moving and controlling his now airborne direction.
There was no way to stop, but Ken didn't stop, "Reiki," he whispered, as the base of his feet began to form water out of nothing.
As he began to run, his speed was increased up to three times; he was sliding on the surface as if using some type of roller skates, but no, he was too fast, so fast he was able to reach the now airborne flying Iron Wall, holding his feet. Iron Wall tried to resist, feeling that Ken was already close, "SLEEP!" again, no matter what he did, he couldn't stop it.
Then, from the top, two black crows were flying down at unimaginable speeds, they were very high in the sky as if preparing for this moment, then
**SKRAW-WHOOSH! THUMP!**
They both hit him straight in the head simultaneously, cracking his skull on impact, sacrificing their lives to pierce his iron skin.
"As I thought, soft on the inside," Ken said softly, as he could feel a headache from the consequences of using cursed speech too many times, his cursed energy pool having taken the most damage.
Then his nose slightly began to bleed, but he was too focused to acknowledge it, wiping it off.
He started to run, exiting the entrance.
He could see them still following him; he had 18 birds left, 10 perfectly mapping his surroundings, 4 following those who were following him and checking their directions, this only left him with 4 to use as excess.
He couldn't summon any more because it would waste his cursed energy.
~~~~~~~~~
He was now 4 blocks away; it was currently raining, and he had lost sight of them.
It was likely possible that they had left, but that man, he saw him, there's no way he would have left.
The cursed speech he used had really affected his cursed energy a lot; it was taking too much time to recharge, then
**BOOM!!!**
He saw an explosion; although it was far away, he knew that it was them, and one of them was running towards him with unimaginable speeds.
"A speed quirk," he thought, moving to the side and jumping.
The wall he was once leaning on was crushed as if a train had run through it.
"Also super strength," he thought, but no, when he saw the man that was looking at him, everything made sense.
The man was wearing fully black iron armor, his face sharp and rigid as if made to resist the friction of air.
Ken didn't ask any questions, for he could see the people he thought he had lost coming, drawing closer to him, but the man in front of him was his first obstacle.
**SWOO!!!**
When he was about to attack, the man ran to him and punched him in the stomach.
Although it was fast, Ken had already seen it coming and had blocked using his left hand that was infused with cursed energy.
The speedster was very large, almost 7 feet, so Ken held his arm tightly and climbed the man's body using his feet, still holding the man's arm, and put him in an arm lock, dropping both of them on the floor.
Ken tightened his grip as he could hear the arm breaking, but the man was resisting, and Ken didn't have time.
Twisting his body,
**CRACK!!!**
"YEEEEEEE!" the man screamed in pain as he could feel his arm being broken, no, it was as if it was being ripped out.
Ken, using his right leg to kick the man's face, could see the man's fully on mask slightly move, revealing part of his neck, but the man was too strong, he was resisting too much.
"SLEEP!" Ken said loudly, causing the man's consciousness to be slightly lost.
Ken quickly moving, took out a hospital scissor from the side pocket of his black jeans, moving his body in quick motion, he was met with the man's slightly sleeping face, directly stabbing the man's neck, causing the man to wake up from the pain of his dying body, but Ken was not done,
**SQUELCH!** He stabbed him again.
**SQUELCH!** And again.
**SQUELCH!** And again.
Till all that was left was a lifeless corpse. Ken, sitting there, bloodied with the man's blood, felt nothing, no thoughts, no guilt, no lingering pain for the lifeless corpse.
Why would he care about the soulless?
