Chapter 1382: Distribution of Rewards
Ding!
Deciding to loiter inside the world raid for a bit more after the red wyvern was defeated, everyone in the group eventually received a notification from the system that the rewards from clearing the world raid was now about to be distributed.
Seeing that, the five guild leaders went ahead and headed towards the spot the system had designated for the rewards, which was coincidentally the same spot the red wyvern succumbed to their incessant number of attacks.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Making use of all the various movement skills in their arsenal, the five guild leaders soon arrived at the spot the system mentioned, giving each other a slight nod as they told their guild members to slightly distance themselves.
Fwoosh!
Continuing to gaze at the spot where the red wyvern ultimately fell, the five soon widened their eyes in surprise as a ray of light appeared at the center of the spot all of a sudden, only to then expand into a beam that was around 20 meters in diameter.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Although they weren't able to see what was going on inside the beam, the five could still guess that the rewards were being arranged by the system as they heard sounds of things being placed echo from inside every once in a while.
Eventually, by the time a couple of minutes had passed, the beam gradually dissipated on its own, greeting Valyr and the other people with the sight of seven item piles.
"There are five at the periphery, while there are two at the center," said Valyr after doing a quick sweep over the seven piles.
"The five piles at the periphery are arranged in terms of their size, which probably has something to do with the difficulty of the five paths."
"Aside from that, one of the center piles is smaller than the other. I'm guessing that's the pile meant for the sudden task we got?"
"Alright." Taking a couple steps closer to the item piles, Malutar swiftly caught the other guild leaders' attention with his loud voice. "I'm sure the four of you still haven't forgotten the agreement we made, right?"
At those words, Valyr and the three other guild leaders looked at each other before faintly nodding back in response.
Nodding at the four in return, he looked at the members of the five guilds before continuing, "For everyone else, the five of us have agreed that the rewards we get out of this world raid would be distributed according to everyone's contribution."
"Surely no one would have a complaint towards that, right?"
Being met with great silence from the crowd surrounding them, Malutar nodded once more before continuing, "After thinking about it for some time, I've finally come to a decision on how the rewards would be distributed."
"Of course, you're free to reject it and discuss how much your guild should actually get."
Seeing that he had gotten everyone's attention with those words, the man faintly smiled as he shifted his gaze towards Valyr. "First off, Azure Coalition."
"As the guild that cleared the hardest path and made the greatest contribution to the final fight, you'll obtain 35% of the rewards from these piles."
"No one has any complaints about that, right?" asked Malutar as he began to hear a few murmurs here and there about the figure he had given.
Yet, in the end, no one dared to contest the share the Azure Coalition rightfully deserved.
After all, not only were they the ones who took on the hardest path out of the five and cleared it, but Valyr's massive contribution to the final fight was also something they couldn't forget.
With that, the four guilds remained silent to the figure Malutar gave, prompting Valyr and the other members of his guild to thank everyone for their kindness.
Seeing that none of the four other guilds had any complaints to the number he gave, Malutar felt a bit of a confidence boost from it as he decided to discuss the shares the four remaining guilds would obtain in one go.
Considering that they were the ones who invited the four other guilds into the world raid in the first place, Malutar went ahead and told the three other guilds that Big Richard would obtain a 20% share of the rewards.
On the other hand, the remaining 45% of the rewards would be distributed evenly amongst the three guilds, leaving Soaring Skies, Krakatatakark, and Lighthouse with ownership of 15% of the rewards.
Although some of the members of the various guilds had a few complaints towards the numbers Malutar proposed, talking about how their guild contributed more overall to the world raid, the three other guild leaders showed no complaint with it whatsoever.
After all, if they were to exclude the 5% share Malutar's guild received from being the one to share the world raid with them in the first place, the four guilds would have obtained an equal amount of rewards from the world raid.
On the other hand, they knew just how much Valyr's actions had contributed to the clearing of the world raid itself, which was why the four guilds had no complaints towards it either.
Plus, if they did complain about it, then they might risk getting on the young man's bad side, which definitely wouldn't bode well for them in the long run.
Especially with how strong Valyr already was.
With that in mind, it was no surprise that Valyr was the first among the five guild leaders to head towards the seven item piles, thanking the four guilds once more for the opportunity they've given their guild.
Swoosh!
Glancing at the item piles for a bit, the young man went ahead and stashed the largest pile around the periphery in his spatial bracelet, faintly going through the rewards that were promised to them through the tasks they cleared.
After checking that he'd be able to distribute the items from the pile he chose evenly, he then proceeded onto the two center piles, only for his eyes to widen in slight surprise.
"…Wow."
Considering that it wasn't guaranteed for some rewards to appear at the end of the world raid, Valyr was slightly taken aback once he noticed that almost all of the rewards that were listed on the first task were visible on the larger pile.
Though, once he shifted his gaze towards the smaller pile, his eyes began to gleam as he focused all of his attention on a seemingly normal-looking ring.
"Bingo."
