Multicrossover: I Took Utaha's Virginity At The Beginning!

Chapter 29: Chapter 28: A Domain-Level Threat—The Flames That Never Die

The moment the Mountain God's curse energy dissipated, Ryuu didn't hesitate.

He turned toward the shrine's inner sanctum, his gaze locking onto the skull resting among the debris.

With one final burst of Amaterasu—

The ancient remains were reduced to ash.

Susanoo, sensing no further danger, slowly faded, its massive form dissolving back into the ether.

Ryuu closed his eyes.

Even as the battle ended, he could still feel the lingering traces of negative energy in the air.

Like standing in a sea of pure malice.

His Mangekyō spun, the accumulated cursed energy feedbacking into his ocular power.

The Mountain God's energy reserves—though nowhere near the level of Special Grade—had been far denser than anything he had absorbed before.

It wasn't enough for the Eternal Mangekyō…

But—

A new ability had awakened.

Ryuu's lips curled into a satisfied smirk.

—Tsukuyomi.

A perfect counterpart to his Amaterasu.

"The trouble is over, Miko."

His voice pulled Miko Yotsuya from her dazed state.

"...It's over?"

She bit her lip, her eyes glimmering with unspoken emotion.

Before Ryuu could respond—

—A sudden gust of wind.

From the ruined shrine, two figures emerged.

Kneeling directly in front of Ryuu—

Two women, their heads bowed low.

"W-Who…?" Miko gasped, instinctively stepping closer to Ryuu.

He studied them carefully.

Their spiritual energy felt… oddly familiar.

"They must be the two fox spirits from earlier."

Miko flinched.

"Those things?!"

The woman in a veiled kimono spoke first.

"Please, do not be afraid. We are not your enemies."

She lowered her head again, her voice laced with sincerity.

"Our previous actions were dictated by the will of the cursed spirit."

Miko hesitated.

She still felt uneasy, but—

If Ryuu wasn't reacting aggressively, it meant they weren't a threat.

The veiled woman then turned to Ryuu.

"My lord, you have freed us. We are eternally grateful."

Ryuu crossed his arms.

"I just did what I came here to do."

His eyes glinted.

"But since you two indirectly saved Miko three times, consider your debt repaid."

Hearing this, the other fox spirit bowed deeply before quickly departing.

Ryuu watched without comment.

But the veiled woman remained.

"...Do you need something?"

She straightened herself, hands clasped neatly.

"I am Oka Tooko."

A name from Miko's memories.

Ryuu nodded. "Go on."

Tooko's expression turned grave.

"The Mountain God was not the true threat of this land."

Miko froze.

"...What?"

Tooko continued, her voice dropping.

"It was merely a seal—placed atop something far more dangerous."

A chill crawled down Miko's spine.

Memories of her dreams—of the towering entity beyond comprehension—flashed through her mind.

"...It's real?"

Tooko nodded solemnly.

"It has awakened."

—BOOM.

The ground shook violently.

From the depths of the valley—a shadow rose.

No—

A mountain.

A massive, grotesque form—emerging from the very earth itself.

A curse so enormous it dwarfed the shrine.

Miko's knees buckled.

Even Tooko, who had spent centuries near the shrine, was pale with terror.

But Ryuu—

Ryuu just grinned.

"...Now that's more like it."

His Mangekyō spun.

—Susanoo manifested once more.

But this time—

It wasn't wielding a sword.

Its right arm had shifted—

A bow.

Miko watched in awe as a single black arrow formed, the flames of Amaterasu licking its edges.

Ryuu pulled back the bowstring—

The sky trembled.

Then—

He fired.

—FWOOSH.

A howling wind erupted, the sheer force of the shot sending shockwaves through the valley.

The black arrow pierced the monstrous curse's eye.

And then—

Amaterasu erupted.

The Mountain Curse screamed—its entire form engulfed in black fire.

It thrashed violently, clawing at its burning flesh—

But Amaterasu was absolute.

The flames would not die until their target was gone.

Miko could only watch as the ancient monstrosity collapsed, its body slowly disintegrating into black embers.

Even Tooko, who had spent centuries fearing this being, was stunned silent.

A curse that had existed for hundreds of years—

Obliterated in a single shot.

She had no words.

Ryuu lowered his bow.

"Well, that was disappointing."

In Naruto's world, Amaterasu was underwhelming.

But here?

It was an instant-kill technique.

Even a creature the size of a mountain couldn't withstand it.

No matter how big the target was—

If it couldn't regenerate, it was done for.

Ryuu dusted off his hands.

"Alright. Now we're done."

Tooko dropped to her knees.

"...My lord."

Ryuu blinked.

"Uh. Yeah?"

She bowed deeply.

"Please allow me to serve you!"

Miko nearly choked.

"What?!"

Tooko's eyes gleamed with determination.

"I wish to follow you, my lord."

She clenched her fists.

"In the world of Jujutsu, the strong reign supreme. I have witnessed your power firsthand. If I remain alone, I will never escape weakness."

Ryuu raised an eyebrow.

To be fair—

She had skills.

She wasn't strong by his standards—maybe Grade 3 at best.

But—

She wasn't useless.

And more importantly—

If he left Miko alone, she'd still be a walking target for spirits.

Having someone around to protect her when he wasn't?

That was useful.

Ryuu smirked.

"Alright."

Tooko's eyes lit up.

"But just so you know, I don't pay salaries."

She immediately bowed.

"Of course! I shall serve without complaint!"

Miko sighed.

"...What is happening to my life?"

Ryuu just laughed.

"Get used to it, Miko. This is just the beginning."
