Multiverse Family System: Charlotte Family Rise From One Piece

Chapter 27: 5 Years Old, Charlotte Linlin

---

Now that Joey has decided to set sail and take the first steps toward founding a nation, everything is fully prepared.

In truth, for Joey, dealing with certain races—such as the Longarm Tribe, Longleg Tribe, Fishmen, and Merfolk—will be the easiest part. These four major races are among the largest of the non-human tribes but also gaining their allegiance is a straightforward matter.

As for the Angel Tribe? The Sky Islands are nothing but a scattered group of weaklings. If Joey wishes, he can easily take them under his wing.

The real challenges lie ahead: the Snake-Neck Tribe, the Mink Tribe, the Giants, and the Three-Eye Tribe.

While the Snake-Neck Tribe, and Three-Eye Tribe should be manageable, the Mink Tribe and Giants present far greater difficulties. Joey is well aware that these two groups will require delicate handling.

After all, his ultimate goal is clear: two years from now, during the World Summit of 1486, Joey intends to not only declare the establishment of Totland but also secure its position as both a member nation and a decision-making power.

This is Joey's vision.

---

As the ship glided across the seas, Joey was in no hurry. He reclined slightly, his eyes narrowing as he pondered.

"The Kingdom of Dressrosa, the Kingdom of Alabasta, the Germa Kingdom... and…"

In his mind, he swiftly ran through a list of nations, totaling twenty-five in all.

The World Government currently counts over 170 member nations, though the exact figure remains unclear. Every four years, the rulers of fifty nations gather for the World Summit.

What Joey must accomplish is to use the next two years to ensure that Totland's status as a member and decision-making nation is formally approved during that pivotal meeting.

"Hm…" He rubbed his temples gently and sighed. "The road ahead is long. There's so much to be done, and while two years might feel tight, with Mama… no, never mind. Let's not rely on my unreliable Mama. With Katakuri stepping up, it shouldn't be a problem."

"Please grow quickly ,Katakuri."

Joey chuckled at the thought. His mother was far from dependable, but Katakuri? After honing his skills, Katakuri would likely reach Silver Rank Level 1 in two years. That would be crucial, ensuring the family had a third pillar of strength beyond himself and Mama.

Having mulled over his strategy, Joey turned his focus to his studies.

No matter the circumstances, Joey had never stopped learning. For him, acquiring knowledge—whether political, strategic, or cultural—was vital. The foundation of any success lies in understanding, and Joey made sure he excelled in every field he could.

Meanwhile, in another part of the ship, Opera stood on the deck, staring at the horizon, when Gala approached him with concern.

"Opera-nii!" she said, her tone serious. "Do you think this trip to the village of Elbaf could end in disaster?"

Opera remained silent for a moment. Then suddenly, a terrifying aura erupted from him.

Dragon's Might!

As a wielder of the Azure Dragon Devil Fruit, it was natural for him to exude such a presence. Under the family's pressure, it was evident that Opera had the potential to awaken Conqueror's Haki someday.

But not everyone could be monsters like Katakuri and Cracker, who possessed all three forms of Haki at such a young age. Among the five Opera siblings, wielding two forms of Haki was already a remarkable achievement.

Reining in his aura, Opera's voice turned icy. "The Giants... if negotiations fail, we will protect Joey at all costs, even if it means annihilating the entire Giant Tribe!"

"That's right!"

Counter, Gala, Cadenza, and Cabaletta stepped forward, their resolve clear.

The Five Warriors of Sweetness stood tall, their fierce determination evident. They would never allow anything to happen to their brother—no matter the cost.

The journey from Cake Island to the village of Elbaf was not long.

In just ten days, the ship neared its destination. As dawn broke, Joey emerged from his quarters dressed in elegant attire, a coat draped over his shoulders. Standing on the deck, he gazed at the island in the distance and smiled.

"Finally, we've arrived."

Elbaf, the Village of Warriors.

The most powerful nation in the world.

Though commonly referred to as Elbaf, the Giants' realm consists of several settlements. Over time, the prominence of the Warrior Village, home to countless seafaring warriors, has led to this misconception.

The truth?

The Giants' domain includes the Elbaf Capital, other towns, and villages spread across fifteen islands worldwide. While there are settlements in all the Blues and the Grand Line, the most famous of them is the Warrior Village.

It was here that legends like Dorry, Brogy, Jorul, and Jarul emerged—four heroic figures who shaped the history of the Giants.

But as Joey's ship approached, the atmosphere grew tense.

Boom! Boom!

The earth rumbled. Massive figures emerged from the village, their footsteps echoing like thunder.

Leading the charge was Elder Jarul, flanked by a host of fierce Giants.

"ROAR!"

Their deafening battle cries shook the air.

With an icy glare, Jarul shouted, "Charlotte family, get lost! There's no place for you here. You are not welcome in Elbaf!"

Joey, however, remained unbothered.

"Oh dear," he said with a faint smile. "Elder Jarul, must you hold onto the past? Aren't old grievances better left behind? I've come to propose a deal—one I believe your people will find quite… interesting. After all, it concerns the legends of your two great heroes."

Joey's confident smile was unwavering. He knew precisely how to handle the Giants.

Sure enough, the rowdy crowd suddenly fell silent.

Jarul's expression turned grim as he hesitated. As an elder, he couldn't afford to act rashly, especially not when the subject involved the revered heroes of their people.

Still, his anger flared at the memories of past betrayals.

"Fine!" Jarul growled. "If you want to talk, show us your strength first. We Giants respect only the strong!"

Joey shook his head, a trace of exasperation in his voice. "So even in diplomacy, strength must come first? How tiresome. Unfortunately for you, the gap in power is all too clear."

He smirked.

"Remember, my Mother killed your Elder Jorul when she was only five years old. Do you really need further proof of the difference between us?"
