MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

Chapter 211: Assemble V

Assemble V

'...' Jenny's thoughts were silent for a moment, then she huffed in her mind.

'Whatever. Even if in gonna go out, I'd rather go out on my own terms.

She cleared her mind before uttering a single thought.

'Initiate the Ancestral Pact.'

"Should we kill her?" Chiara asked as she looked at Jenny, or what remained of her anyway.

Umbra's dragon breath had completely blackened her, but not from burning her. It completely erased any pigment on her body, turning her pitch black.

Her skin and most of her muscles were gone revealing blackened bones, and her organs were in a state of destruction that would have killed a normal being instantly. Her skull had been cracked open and more than a few pieces of her brain could be seen. It was a gruesome sight, yet she was alive.

"Probably." Umbra just shrugged and raised a paw, preparing to put her in a cage.

Then there was a pulse.

'Oh?' The twins cocked their heads at the same time. Then there was another pulse, stronger this time.

"It seems like she has more up her sleeve."

"Yup. Maybe she isn't so disappointing." They spoke animatedly as the pulses grew stronger. They did not attempt to stop whatever was happening.

Then suddenly, Jenny's body started to float.

Miraculously, her wounds started to heal as Umbra felt the darkness in her body starting to get pushed out forcibly.

When she was a few meters in the air, she curled up into the fetal position as blue light bloomed from her body and engulfed her.

The twins watched in fascination as the light started to take shape, and a few seconds later, it began to fade as a new being was revealed.

It had the body of a dragon, but the scales weren't scales and if one looked closely, they'd see that they were miniature versions of the shell of the Carapace Turtle that had been shrunk down and multiplied several times to cover the entire body.

Then came the limbs. They were still draconian in nature, but a blue mist seeped up from them constantly, and if one looked closely, they'd see that they weren't touching the ground and were instead suspended by the mist and floating.

The wings had doubled in size and had strange markings on them that seemed to pull in the minds of whoever stared at them, acting as a passive mental attack. Finally, the head had turned a bit rounder than that of a normal dragon. And resembled a turtle more than a dragon. It also had six eyes instead of two, and behind its head was a semi-halo that hummed powerfully.

ROAR!

A powerful roar left the beast's mouth and for the first time in a very long time, the twins felt a sense of oppression that didn't come from Christopher.

They did not like that.

Chiara's lip curled into a disdainful sneer.

"Heh... Haha! You're audacious, I'll give you that!" She growled and Umbra continued, his voice dangerous.

"How curious, you think turning yourself into some sort of abomination gives you the right to suppress US? You're nothing more than an impure amalgamation!" He was genuinely angry.

The twins could be considered laid-back. At the very least, they weren't as hard-core as their other race members. But one thing they couldn't condone was any form of insult towards their lineage.

They were just enjoying the fight before, but now? They lost all interest in holding back.

Their Auras surged to meet Jenny's Aura. Just the clash from that caused space to splinter and fracture from the energy output. But it didn't stop there.

The Aura of the twins started to merge and multiply, as the twins started to transform themselves.

Suddenly, half of their scales became the opposite color. All the scales on Umbra's right side turned white, including the wing, horns, and tail.

The opposite happened to Chiara as all the scales on her left side turned pure black. The effects of their Physique showed itself in all its glory as both of them used a technique that allowed them to share each other's attributes.

They didn't intend to let what just happened slide.

Belladonna was surprised when Lenax suddenly grabbed her with his claw and pulled her back before shielding her body with his.

She was even more surprised when she felt the reality around them shudder with the weight of a devastating explosion.

When it cleared, Lenax unfurled his wings and let her down. She looked up at him and was taken aback when she saw cracks on the scales on his back, blood oozing from them as he had taken damage from the explosion.

This made her eyes narrow dangerously.

She looked past Lenax towards Constella who looked... different.

Her clothes were gone and her previously dark skin had changed to resemble the stars filling the fast universe. Her hair had increased in size by a lot, surrounding her like a river of cosmic gasses and energy. Her eyes had turned completely purple with light seeping out from them.

She stared at the two of them and raised her hand.

Lenax and Belladonna immediately felt a strong sense of danger and Lenax opened his maw and released a beam of blue light just as Constella fired out an orb of cosmic light.

The two clashed and wrestled for dominance for a moment before surprisingly, Lenax's beam was blown through and the orb continued forward.

Belladonna snorted and snapped her fingers. Immediately, a wall of red ice supplemented by blood appeared and blocked the orb. The orb exploded causing the wall to crack all over, but it still held.

Lenax roared and swung his claws upward just as a fist came from above. The two clashed and a titanic explosion erupted devastating the surrounding area.

Three figures exited the snow that was left behind with Constella on one side and Lenax with Belladonna on the other.

"Interesting. You removed all your flesh and blood, so now you're a being of pure energy. Is that what your connection to reality is?" Belladonna smiled charmingly, seemingly unperturbed by the transformation.

"You vampires are annoying," Constella responded, her voice warbled. This made Belladonna chuckle.

"Judging by how you didn't do this before, there must be some price for using this transformation. Am I right?" Belladonna asked and Constella remained silent. This made the vampire laugh.

"As I thought. Well, it doesn't matter. I don't plan on using a lame option. You put in so much effort, it's only fair we humor you no?" As she said that, the crystal in the center of her battledress glowed and she muttered.

"Royal Exclusive Skill: Sanguine Ascension." Lenax moved from her as blood suddenly exploded out from her body like a tide. It threatened to swallow everything in the vicinity, but before it could, it suddenly retreated into Belladonna once again, and when she was revealed again, she looked a bit different.

Blood-red wings had appeared on her back, but they didn't seem to be made of blood and only had that color. There was also a crown of similar color floating above her head, with horns also protruding from her forehead.

Lenax didn't do anything, but his Aura suddenly deepened greatly as it seemed he was done holding back as well.

Constella said nothing else as she raised her hand and proceeded to spawn in a literal blue giant and threw it at them.

"Woah, suddenly removing your mask?" Pruina said with surprise when Christopher took off his mask, revealing his true appearance.

"What? Never seen a human before?" He scoffed and Pruina rolled his eyes before looking at him with interest.

"I will say though, you have some interesting eyes." He said and Christopher looked at him with a deadpanned expression.

"That's weird." He said flatly and the Paragon blinked.

"Huh? What's... hey get your mind out of the gutter!" He yelled and took a deep breath.

"Anyway, you have some interesting visions. How did you get them?" Christopher arched a brow.

"You must be insane if you think I'm gonna tell you." He said and Pruina snorted.

"Brat." He shook his head.

"So why did you take off your mask? Don't tell me you want to show off with your looks." Christopher sighed, this guy talked a lot.

He decided to ignore him and walked forward. As he did so, he sensed his connection with the Mask of the Dreamer and remembered the System's description of artifacts and how seemed to embody specific concepts.

The entity Pruine Spoke of was the embodiment of forgetting in a way, and his mask excelled at making him to be forgotten.

'Hey.' He spoke with his will and addressed the mask.

'Wake up.' A moment later, he felt a tug on his consciousness.

It wasn't the same as having another consciousness in his soul like Scarlet and Norn, no, it felt more like... a presence.

It was difficult to explain, but it was similar to how one was aware of the air. They could go a long time without noticing it, but the moment they focused on it, they would become aware of its presence. That's how Christopher was feeling right now.

'I'm not sure you can understand me, but I wanna ask you if you can do something.' He continued and he felt the mask vibrate.
