My bodyguard : perfect one for me?

My face was showing worry, off course as I said, it's an open window, I was worried about what was wrong with him but when I entered and saw everyone were having bright smile on their face and was meeting old friends I realized I should to change my mood and if I can't change It I should at least pretend, and I had no choice but to pretend, because I wasn't really attached to these people. I was searching for my friend.

I observed entire class was present there, but no one from my favorites was present. Apart from Mona I only know two people and that too not very close to me now.

This cheerful and energetic personality you see today was very shy and not so out going back in her school days, I was that shy and introvert kid who used to talk very less and only for important things, even teachers used to complaint that why she don't talk much, does she behave same when she is in home with you? And my parents used to say no, lol I was only shy in school, at home I was that stubborn and naughty kid. And had only two close friends, as I was silent kid I was not popular, there was a group of student that was only popular in our school from my class. Others were just average students not in study but in games and art, you know this type of student right? Teacher's favorite, I have many words for such students but I better should not say that here.

I was looking at them, some of them smiled other came to talk.

I was busy talking with people when I realize someone was looking at me and was walking toward me, I shifted my focus and looked at him, he was no other than, guess??? Yes right, very good you guys are smart like me, it was Roy, walking toward me with smile, I smiled back I had no option left.

I was ready to say thank you because I already knew what he was about to say.

"You are looking gorgeous as always Ava." he said.

"Thank you." I said smiling back at him.

"Well, people here are jealous about you." he whispered, I knew that thing but I wanted to learn more about it.

"Really? Who?" I said showing him that I was shocked.

"Who isn't?" He said, "look those girls, do you remember how famous they were back then? Now they are just doing simple job and no one knows them, and now you know the reason why they are jealous right?" He said.

"Isn't it good enough to live simple life? I mean it's ok if few people knows you." I said.

"Well, not for people who always wanted to pull you back, blocked you from shining." he said.

"Yeah." I said I remember every function, these favorites never gave chance to other students to shine, and they had connections so they used to stop other students from taking part in any school function. And same thing happened with me too, it was just about anchoring still favorite one got chosen, from then I never wasted my energy on trying to take part in any school activity other than studying.

"Where are you lost?" Mark said, " nothing I was just thinking how we got treated back in our school days." I replied.

"Yeah, leave it, it just going to ruin our mood nothing else, focus on party and enjoy drinks and food." Mark said and left.

He have so many girls today to talk with, he have to cover all of them, he have to talk with every girl present here, sometimes he gives me vibe of that desperate guy, but I think he is not, I don't know what is he inside.

"Hey Ava, wow look at you, you are totally changed." a girl from that so popular group came and said.

Haha, I had no words to say I wish I could ignore her.

"Well, I saw news about you and your ex," she said, felt so bad babe."

Feeling happy inside she was showing me fake sadness, I said "yeah, its been month now."

"Still, it takes some time to move on, I know...."she continued with her unnecessary talk, "seems like you are more interested in her love life or maybe her overall life." listening to this statement I got happy because it was of one of my friend, even though we don't talk and meet often, we are still friends.

"Huh! Obviously, everyone knows about her, It doesn't mean I am dying to interfere in her life." that girls said rolling her eyes and started to walk.

"She still hates me." my friend tina said. "yes a lot." I agreed.

"Anyways how are you these days?" Tina asked.

"I am good." I replied, "you are still same." she said, "still talk as much as needed."

"Haha, no I mean I …" I was about to clarify things which even I wasn't aware about, "oh come on ava, I know something is bothering you, I know you very well, after all I have spent my nine years with you. Now come on tell me, is it about a guy? She leaned forward and said about your ex? Or her words made you upset? Tell me I will make sure she regrets." Tina said.

"No," I said "you are overthinking stuff, I am totally alright, there is nothing."

"Not even a guy? Or a crush? Come on man there are many handsome guys in your industry, its impossible to not fall in love." tina said.

"Yeah, but I just want to be single for some time." I replied.

"Ahh so boring anyways let me introduce my boyfriend come." she grabbed my hand and dragged me toward a table.

"Here, meet sand, he is engineer." She introduced him. I looked at him with smile.

He was good looking guy, someone look alike a well-known actor from our industry, I knew why she chose him.

"Hello." I said, "hi." he said his eyes were shining bright, "I have watched all your dramas, I love your acting." he said.

"Oh… which one you loved the most?" I asked.

"Seven stars." he replied within seconds, seems like he really enjoyed that drama.

"You were looking so beautiful in that drama." he continued. "Actually you are always pretty." he said.

"Ahm ahm, should I leave you guys alone here?" Tina said, jealousy was clearly visible on her face, but that was kind of sweet, her possessiveness for him showed how much she loved him.

"No baby, why are you talking like that?" he said hugging her, "I am sorry if I hurt you."

"Haha.. No I was kidding." she replied, "leave this topic lets have drinks."

I didn't interact with people much, I was just enjoying my drinks with tina and her boyfriend. They told me about how they met, wish I had king here right now with me, but he will refuse to come if I ask him. He is stone.
