My Celestial Ascension

Chapter 690: Significant Improvement

The once-proud buildings of the old noble district had been reduced to massive piles of rubble. Scattered among the debris lay the mutilated corpses of Golden Skull members—some missing limbs, others with gaping holes in their chests.

The scene was nothing short of gruesome, as if a monstrous force had rampaged through the district, slaughtering everything in its path with brutal, inhumane efficiency.

Yet, despite the carnage, no one felt the slightest sympathy for the dead. These men belonged to the most heinous criminal organization on the continent. They had met the fate they deserved.

Emperor Philip, King Richard, Daniel, and Tristan sheathed their swords and slowly approached Aisha. She stood in the midst of the bodies, her chest rising and falling heavily, her entire figure drenched in blood.

'She killed them all…'

Emperor Philip could hardly believe what he was seeing. He had expected Aisha to be strong—but this? This was beyond his imagination.

'It's a good thing she's on our side… That alone is a blessing.'

A chilling aura surrounded her, one that sent a shiver down his spine. With her blood-soaked figure and cold, unyielding gaze, she resembled a goddess of carnage.

"Lady Aisha, are you alright? Were you injured?" Philip asked, his voice tinged with genuine concern.

Without a word, Aisha lifted her sword and wiped the blood from its blade with a cloth. Only after securing it in its sheath did she finally acknowledge him.

"I'm fine. Just a little exhausted from overusing my Mana. I'll recover soon." Her voice was cold, emotionless.

Without waiting for a response, she turned and walked toward the carriage.

Philip exhaled slowly, watching her disappear into the distance. "I see… That's a relief. As long as you're alright, I can rest easy."

Inside the luxurious carriage, Aisha set her sword aside and leaned into the plush seat with a deep sigh.

'I used too much magic power… I shouldn't have relied on the Secret Technique of the Clan. I should have stuck with the Sword Techniques of the Blank Clan instead… What a waste.'

She closed her eyes, frustration gnawing at her. 'I won the battle, but at what cost?'

"This smell of blood is too strong and pungent... I need a bath to wash it off. It's irritating," Aisha complained, feeling discomfort all over her body.

Unfortunately, things hadn't gone as she'd planned. She hadn't been able to keep a single one of the enemies alive for interrogation, which was a huge loss.

However, despite the setback, the threat to the empire had been neutralized. The upcoming auction would now be safe, and no longer at risk of being jeopardized.

Later, Aisha arrived at the villa where she was staying and was immediately greeted by the servants and Jones. Jones looked particularly concerned for her safety, given the reputation of the Golden Skull organization, known for their cunning and devious plots.

"Lady Aisha, what just happened out there?! What's with this appearance?" Jones asked, his voice full of disbelief, shocked by the bloodstained state she was in.

"I killed people. A lot of people," Aisha replied flatly, her voice devoid of emotion as she walked past him toward the bathroom to clean herself off.

Suddenly, she stopped and turned back around.

"Tell the chefs to prepare lunch for me. I'm hungry after exhausting so much of my magic power."

"Leave it to me, Lady Aisha. I'll take care of everything." Jones nodded with a reassuring smile before Aisha turned and left for the bathroom.

Some time later, Aisha emerged, refreshed and wearing a new set of clothes that complemented her new hairstyle. A bright smile now graced her beautiful face.

"Lady Aisha, lunch is ready." Jones said promptly, noticing her arrival.

"I see…" Aisha nodded and made her way to the dining room to eat.

She no longer felt exhausted, having used a Mana Replenishing potion to restore her magic. The fatigue had completely disappeared, and she felt energized after the bath.

Mana depletion often had various side effects, one of which was fatigue, a common consequence. In extreme cases, it could even be life-threatening. For this reason, most people avoided overusing their magic power. Excessive Mana loss left one weak and vulnerable—unable to defend themselves if caught off guard.

However, Aisha had ended up exhausting a significant amount of her magic power due to using the Secret Technique of her clan. The technique required an immense amount of energy to fully activate—unleashing destruction so powerful that it could obliterate an entire mountain.

A short while later, after finishing her meal, Aisha headed to her bedroom to prepare for her meeting with her big sister, nephew, and niece. The mere thought of seeing them again filled her with excitement.

She spent over fifteen minutes getting ready, wanting to look perfect—especially for her nephew. She particularly enjoyed the way he looked at her body, and the thought alone made her lips curl into a knowing smile.

Once she was fully satisfied with her appearance, she stepped out of the room with a radiant smile, dressed in a tight, seductive gown that accentuated her alluring figure. The dress suited her perfectly, making her look both captivating and elegant.

As she approached the front door, she spotted Jones and said, "I'm heading to Lady Valeria's villa to meet my sister, nephew, and niece. In the meantime, take care of everything for me."

She paused for a moment before adding, "Oh, and if any of the other Ten Great Families show up, tell them I've left the villa. Don't mention my location."

"Understood, Lady Aisha. Have a wonderful time, and rest assured, I'll handle everything in your absence." Jones responded with a respectful smile before Aisha gracefully exited the villa.

Emperor Philip had invited King Richard and his family to the palace for lunch, intending to discuss important matters concerning both the empire and the kingdom.

Since the other kingdoms had failed to act against the Golden Skull organization during the attack, Emperor Philip had decided to shift his favor away from them. Instead, he chose to focus his attention on the Windfall Kingdom, as King Richard and his son had actively participated in the battle.

"King Richard, you have raised your son well. Not only is he quite handsome, but he is also incredibly brave—fighting alongside his father without hesitation. That is truly admirable." Emperor Philip praised, his words carrying genuine appreciation.

Hearing this, King Richard couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.

"You give me too much credit, Your Majesty," he said humbly, though the proud smile on his face betrayed his modesty.

"No, no, don't be shy now. You fully deserve such praise." Emperor Philip chuckled, amused by the king's humility—something rare among rulers, especially when compared to the arrogant kings of other kingdoms.

As the conversation continued, warm laughter filled the grand hall. At the same time, Empress Selena and Queen Matilda struck up their own discussion, engaging in lively conversation about various topics that interested them as women.

After refining all the Yin Qi from his wives, Yuan finally reached the peak of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, just one step away from becoming a Spirit Lord. However, he sensed that something significant had happened in the city, prompting him to end his cultivation for the day.

Upon reaching the peak of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, Yuan could immediately feel the changes in his body. His physical strength had grown tremendously, far surpassing his previous limits, and his Divine Sense had also become much more powerful.

Now, he could effortlessly cover a vast area with his Divine Sense, allowing him to perceive everything within that radius. Nothing could escape his sight within his newly expanded range. Not only had his Divine Sense improved, but his body had also become significantly stronger—he felt as though he could send an enormous boulder flying with a mere flick of his hand.

At the same time, Anna Grace had advanced to the fifth level of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, thanks to Yuan's potent Yang Qi, which had significantly boosted her cultivation with minimal effort.

'I can't believe how many benefits Mom has gained from my Yang Qi compared to what I got from her Yin Qi. This feels kind of unfair,' Yuan thought after sensing Anna Grace's cultivation level.

His other wives had also taken advantage of the situation, rapidly increasing their cultivation and strengthening the family as a whole.

Lily had reached the fourth level of the Spirit Grandmaster realm after refining the Yang Qi within her womb, and Emma had achieved the same breakthrough. Rose had also reached the fifth level, just like Anna Grace. Julie and Ava, on the other hand, had advanced to the third level, their strength now far greater than before.

Leah had also reached the fourth level, and the intricate golden lines covering her body had become even more pronounced and radiant. Her aura had grown significantly stronger as well.

Mireya and Sylvia had advanced to the second level of the Spirit Grandmaster realm. Given that their cultivation had been considerably lower than Yuan's other wives, their progress was astonishing—so much so that it would be considered unnatural even among geniuses.

Meanwhile, Xi Meili had reached the peak of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, thanks to her unique and ancient bloodline, as well as the massive amount of Yang Qi she had received from Yuan.

Fang Xiaoyan, her romantic rival, had surpassed them all—breaking through to the fifth level of the Spirit Lord realm and becoming the strongest in the family, even surpassing Yuan, her beloved husband.

Valeria had also received a significant boost in her cultivation, advancing to the second level of the Spirit Grandmaster realm. She could clearly feel the surge in her power, her cultivation rising at an unprecedented rate.
