Chapter 22: Chapter 22
"Nana, let's go back to the room and let Feifei help watch the kids." Jia Fuhai, thinking about Jia Qiyi's super memory ability, was considering whether to hire someone to test the child's intelligence and memory so that his wife would understand they shouldn't be careless.
Thus, Zhen Linna was pulled into the bedroom.
Soon, Lin Feifei came out to help watch the children.
"Qiqi, Nana, what do you think about testing our son's intelligence and memory?" Jia Fuhai asked the two women seriously.
"Sure, but it's better if the test is done at home," Zhen Linna nodded. For their extraordinary son, she too wanted to know what was going on.
"I'll go with my sister," Zhen Linna immediately expressed her support after seeing Jia Fuhai's look.
"Great, then let's have my parents come over, Qiqi, please check which reliable institutions offer home visits for testing and invite them," Jia Fuhai immediately started making arrangements, all for the sake of a harmonious future.
"Got it," Zhen Linna nodded, then remembered something and asked, "Jia Ge, how's the video thing going lately?"
"Just random filming, mainly recording my son's games and mine, nothing special," Jia Fuhai responded nonchalantly.
Qiqi and Nana, who were always curious about their father's activities, instantly paid attention upon hearing the mention of videos.
"Ah, it's just a beauty video, nothing much," Jia Fuhai quickly tried to change the subject, seeing his children get curious.
Zhen Linna slapped Jia Fuhai on the back when she heard that.
"Dad, you can't just mess with us!" The two brothers, though still young, were already mature enough to understand. Many embarrassing moments from their childhood had been recorded by their dad under the guise of "growth documentation."
The two brothers knew that their father was always playing tricks on them, but there wasn't much they could do about it. Luckily, they knew these videos were only shared between their parents.
The two brothers wrinkled their cute faces and returned to playing their chess game.
"Jia Ge, you really are something, recording these videos—aren't you worried your sons might pull the plug on your oxygen tube one day?" Zhen Linna mockingly scolded him.
"Hey, I'd never say such a thing," Jia Fuhai quickly covered her mouth, fearing that the terrifying Nana might find out.
In the living room, Lin Feifei was watching the two babies kicking a small football to each other.
Though it was just a toy ball, under the influence of the babies' short legs, it moved faster than some professional football players' control.
The eldest, Jia Qiyi, after being placed on the ground for the first time, quickly started crawling. Thanks to his leg control talent and memory ability, he soon learned to walk and run, using his legs more skillfully than his hands.
The second child, Jia Naji, was even more impressive, mastering his physical control much faster. With the enhanced body control of his skill talent, he surpassed his older brother, who was three months old, in no time.
Now, the second child was practically a dancing king in diapers—his movements were very agile.
Both Qiqi and Nana were amazed by their sons' abilities, as both their physical and mental performance was far beyond the average.
After the children had rested enough, the two women returned home from the hospital. Lin Feifei, who had been staying with them in the private ward, followed them back home as well.
While staying in the hospital, Lin Feifei had also witnessed the babies' intelligence and had considered having children of her own. However, due to her academic pursuits and after discussing it with Jia Fuhai, she decided to put her plans for a baby on hold.
Looking at the two babies kicking the ball, Lin Feifei's eyes filled with affection.
Jia Qiyi, despite having excellent leg control talent and being three months old, couldn't beat his younger brother.
After all, the talent of "Skill Path" was much stronger than his "Purple Talent" ability.
Not to mention that "Skill Path" enhanced all-around abilities, not just a simple addition like 1+1.
Luckily, the two were still young, and with their intelligence also being impressive, they didn't cry or argue. The atmosphere remained peaceful.
The elder brother, Jia Qiyi, didn't mind losing to his younger brother.
"Watch this." Jia Qiyi kicked the ball towards Jia Naji.
"Piece of cake." Jia Naji, seeing the ball wasn't coming fast, used his short legs to easily kick it back.
"You two, be careful. What if you fall?" Lin Feifei quickly intervened when she saw the kids getting more intense with their kicking.
"Okay, Feifei mom," both babies obediently responded, showing a growing understanding of the elderly.
"Such good boys," Lin Feifei smiled, gently pinching their cute faces. She pinched Jia Naji's face a little more.
Jia Naji, a bit helpless, couldn't help but think—ever since he could remember, everyone, whether in the hospital or at home, kept pinching his face. He sometimes wished they would stop and pinch his older brother's face instead!
"Brother, what are you doing?" Jia Qiyi quickly pushed his younger brother's hand away.
"Just letting you feel my pain," Jia Naji said, using his "Skill Path" ability to take revenge!
While Jia Qiyi could handle it better with his enhanced leg control, he couldn't stop his younger brother, who had a full-range enhancement in "Skill Path."
"Ah! Stop it, let's play chess, I'll teach you something instead."
Seeing the two kids getting physical, Lin Feifei quickly separated them. She feared that their little hands and feet might not be gentle enough, causing harm.
"Let's play chess! Play chess!" Jia Qiyi immediately shouted.
He couldn't win against his younger brother in the physical challenge, but he could at least win in a game of chess!
The two were about equal in brain games, but Jia Qiyi was just slightly better. Not by much, though.
"Here we go," Jia Naji quickly responded, retracting his hand.
Looking at the two children starting to play chess, Lin Feifei showed a doting smile and picked up her book to continue studying medicine.
She didn't dare to play with them. Mainly because she was afraid she wouldn't win. The two kids were constantly playing chess, be it Chinese chess, Go, or military chess... They always played together.
Even Zhen Linqi, who taught them the rules, quickly gave up after a few rounds.
Jia Fuhai was the smartest—he simply claimed he didn't understand and couldn't play, thus avoiding the "chess power" of his sons.
Nobody wanted to be defeated by a child, not even Zhen Fuguo, who used to play Chinese chess often. But now, he had to kneel before his grandsons to "surrender."
If the babies weren't so young, Zhen Fuguo would have proudly shown them off to others, letting them play against people while basking in the glory of his grandsons' skill.
Due to their age restrictions, the babies only played chess or received educational lessons. It was the best way to exercise their brains.
Zhen Fuguo wanted to play with his grandsons, but he had to teach them first. Now, he had become more like a tool for his grandsons when they played, bringing drinks or fetching things.
Though he was in a somewhat sad position, he didn't mind, as he was happy serving his grandsons. But it still hurt to be unable to keep up with their speed.
Given how the grandsons performed, Zhen Fuguo even started to feel more tolerant of their father, who at least wasn't as bad as he seemed.
