My Daily Life of Farming in the World of Cultivation

Chapter 7: Offshore Islands

Of course, even if he saw something of great value, Fang Yun would only move it to a different location for safekeeping and wouldn't dare to carry it on his person directly.

This was just to be cautious in case his enemies could locate him through secret techniques.

With this thought in mind, Fang Yun looked over the large pile of spoils of war.

Among the spoils, a large part consisted of some Spirit Stones.

The total number was almost reaching tens of thousands, a significant portion having been acquired from the Storage Bag of that young cultivator.

Indeed, as the legitimate heir of a cultivator family, he was indeed wealthy.

These Spirit Stones were most likely safe.

Given the magic abilities of the cultivators, there wouldn't be many who could mark these Spirit Stones and still make it unnoticeable by others.

Of course, Fang Yun's understanding of the Cultivation World was too limited, and whether such techniques existed were merely his speculations.

Thus, Fang Yun moved all these Spirit Stones aside, planning to find a secluded place to store them after leaving the island.

Even though Fang Yun thought that these Spirit Stones were probably fine, to prevent the Lin Family from implementing a reverse strategy, using a fake Spirit Stone as a marker could be troublesome.

Apart from these Spirit Stones, the next most numerous items were various Spirit Talismans.

The quality of these Spirit Talismans varied; every cultivator had collected a number.

Thinking back to the old man he encountered last time, his main combat strength was actually based on these Spirit Talismans and Magic Artifacts.

From this, it was evident that in the Cultivation World, Spirit Talismans were considered a main combat method for cultivators.

At least this was the case for lower-level cultivators.

The best quality and most powerful Spirit Talismans among them were obtained from that young cultivator.

Based on Fang Yun's guess, these Spirit Talismans were likely not problematic.

After all, they were single-use items; placing a mark on such items and accidentally using them would be wasteful.

With this thought, Fang Yun placed these Spirit Talismans beside the Spirit Stones.

Besides the two most numerous spoils of war.

There wasn't much remaining.

Mainly some Magic Artifacts, along with some special spiritual materials.

Apart from those Magic Artifacts, Fang Yun couldn't remember which items came from whom.

These items, although not numerous, were the most valuable of the remaining ones.

However, among these items, the most dangerous were the Magic Artifacts.

Since these Magic Artifacts were refined with one's essence, it was easiest to conceal marks inside them.

And the residual essence was also something easily detectable by enemies using secret techniques.

In such a situation, even though Fang Yun was very eager to keep these Magic Artifacts, for his own safety, he must destroy them all.

He didn't even dare to hide them separately.

After all, once they were found, nobody knew if the opponents could locate him through other mysterious methods.

Even if they couldn't find him, having these Magic Artifacts was a significant threat to him.

Especially that black dagger; Fang Yun now felt that even if he faced it again, he wasn't very confident.

After understanding the pros and cons, Fang Yun sighed and put the Spirit Stones and Spirit Talismans into his Storage Bag.

He planned to find a deserted island to hide them after leaving this island.

As for the remaining Magic Artifacts, including the clothes of that young cultivator and some remaining spiritual materials, Fang Yun decided to destroy these items.

Unfortunately, among these spoils of war, there were no Jade Scrolls recording Cultivation knowledge.

Compared to these material spoils, Fang Yun was quite interested in knowledge-based items.

After all, with Life Essence Qi, Fang Yun's reliance on materialistic things had reduced a lot during his cultivation process.

Instead, due to the lack of Cultivation knowledge, his techniques were much fewer compared to other cultivators.

For example, he now longed to possess a decisive move.

This move should ideally maximize his solid Mana.

But clearly, acquiring such a move, whether through some method or developing it himself, was not an easy task.

From this perspective, Fang Yun still needed to accumulate a vast amount of Cultivation knowledge to achieve such a goal.

That's also why he was so interested in Jade Scrolls.

Unfortunately, these cultivators did not carry Jade Scrolls with them like the old man before.

However, winning this battle and developing his defensive strategies counted as a fair gain.

Fang Yun couldn't be too greedy in this respect.

Then, Fang Yun utilized the roots of the Five Elements Plants to transform into a Water Attribute protective shield.

He then rolled up these Magic Artifacts and other miscellaneous items.

Carrying these items, he began to head towards the top of the volcano, braving the scorching lava and the smoke emitted from the volcano.

The rolling heat waves continuously attacked the protective shield around Fang Yun.

Fortunately, the attack force brought by these heat waves could not directly break his protective shield.

Under this multi-layered protection, Fang Yun merely needed to expend some Mana to easily resist the influence of the lava.
