My Hero Academia: Nightmare Mode

Chapter 4: The Dare Comes back

The bottle spun, the entire circle watching with bated breath as it slowed down, ticking closer and closer to its target. Everyone leaned in as the glass came to a stop.

It pointed directly at Kikidori.

The room went still, the collective gasps and murmurs audible. Kikidori, as usual, sat quietly, arms crossed, his heterochromatic eyes scanning the faces around him. He knew all eyes were on him, waiting for his next move.

Mina, still recovering from her earlier dare blunder, grinned nervously. "Well, well, Kikidori! It's your turn! Who's it gonna be?"

Kikidori leaned forward, his sharp canines glinting in the dim dorm lighting, and placed his hand on the bottle. His gaze shifted to Bakugo, who sat across the circle with his usual scowl, and then to Mina, who had started this whole ordeal.

He finally spoke, his voice calm but laced with a subtle edge. "I dare Bakugo… to kiss Mina."

The room exploded into chaos.

"WHAT?!" Bakugo roared, leaping to his feet, his palms sparking with small bursts of explosions. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, YOU DAMN EXTRA?!"

Mina's face went bright pink, her usual confidence replaced with a flustered laugh. "Wait—what?! Kikidori, are you serious?!"

Kikidori leaned back casually, the faintest smirk tugging at his lips—a rare sight that immediately caught everyone's attention. He tilted his head slightly and muttered, "It's your fault for trying to make me kiss someone earlier. Call it payback."

The room went quiet for a beat as everyone processed what had just happened. Then, out of nowhere, Hagakure's voice broke the silence.

"Wait, wait, WAIT! Did Kikidori just SMIRK?! HE SMIRKED! I SAW IT!"

Denki shot up, pointing dramatically. "No way! He has emotions! IT'S A MIRACLE!"

Kirishima burst out laughing, slapping his knee. "Dude, that was *so manly*! Payback with style!"

Kikidori's smirk disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. "Tch. Calm down," he muttered, but the faint amusement in his tone gave him away.

Meanwhile, Bakugo looked like he was about to detonate. His face was red—not from embarrassment, but from sheer rage. "I'M NOT DOING THAT! DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!"

Mina waved her hands frantically, still blushing. "I-it's just a game, Bakugo! You don't have to if you don't want to!"

"DAMN RIGHT, I DON'T WANT TO!" Bakugo shouted, glaring at everyone in the circle.

But Hagakure wasn't about to let it go. "HEY, LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE DARE!" she yelled, her invisible form bouncing with excitement. "COME ON, BAKUGO! KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS!"

The rest of the group joined in, chanting loudly in unison.

"KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS!"

Kirishima was laughing so hard he could barely keep up with the chant, while Kaminari was practically falling over with excitement. Even Todoroki, who was usually stoic, raised an eyebrow in mild curiosity.

"SHUT UP!" Bakugo barked, his voice loud enough to shake the walls. "I'M NOT KISSING ANYONE!"

Mina, still red-faced, stood up and crossed her arms. "Okay, okay! Let's just move on, guys! No need to push it!"

But Hagakure wasn't done. "Mina, don't let him off the hook! He's too stubborn!"

Kikidori, still seated, watched the chaos unfold with a rare flicker of amusement in his eyes. He leaned his head against the wall, the smirk threatening to return as Bakugo continued yelling and Mina struggled to calm everyone down.

"Serves her right," Kikidori muttered to himself.

Though the dare was never fulfilled, the energy in the room had shifted. For the first time, Kikidori felt like he was more than just a quiet observer. His small act of rebellion had thrown the group into a frenzy, and for once, he didn't mind the attention—if only a little.

By the time the room finally settled down, Bakugo had stormed off to the other side of the circle, arms crossed and face still red. Mina was busy trying to act like nothing had happened, and the rest of the group was still buzzing with laughter and energy.

Kikidori leaned back and closed his eyes, content to let the chaos unfold around him. For once, he felt like he belonged—even if it was in the middle of something as ridiculous as *Spin the Bottle.*
