My Life in Multiverse

"Sister Kushina, your cooking is so tasty."

On the dining table, Kakashi finished his bowl and asked for a refill while praising Kushina.

Kushina giggled and said in melancholy. "It feels just like yesterday when you were a kid. You, Rin, and Obito were Minato's students and liked to eat the dishes cooked by me so much. Hehe..."

Kakashi visibly trembled when he heard those familiar names. But he still kept his smile and said. "Yeah. It was a great time. I really miss those days, especially Minato sensei."

"I miss him too," Kushina replied with a light smile. "But with Naruto, it is not that bad."

"Speaking of Naruto..." Kakashi said as if he remembered something important. "I heard you again went to the Uchiha Compound. Didn't Hokage-sama tell you to not go there? Why do you always wander in that place?"

Naruto stopped eating and finally had enough of his yapping. He looked at Kakashi in the eyes and asked. "Then tell me Kakashi, are Uchihas truly a part of this village?"

"What are you..." Kakashi was a bit surprised by the reverse question.

"Just answer me."

Kakashi gulped down and answered seriously. "Of course. They are. They are one of the founding clans of the Konoha village."

"Then why are they treated like criminals? Why do you, Grandpa Third, and everyone treat them so unjustly, huh? Aren't they a royal clan?" Naruto snorted and asked.

"Uh? This..." Kakashi was speechless by Naruto's serious and reasonable questions. He coughed twice and tried to reason. "Well, it is not that easy, Naruto. You are still too young to understand it clearly. Just know that the relationship between the village and the Uchihas is not good at the moment and a fight can break out, your life could be in danger because of that."

Naruto chuckled and laughed. "Hahaha... what a joke. Isn't it clearly because of Grandpa Third and others that cause the Uchihas to be dissatisfied and become angry with the village?"

Kakashi wanted to refute but he found no words to actually argue with him since he was also dissatisfied with the way, the higher-ups were handling the matter.

Kakashi knew that he could not change anything but he decided to test the young child and asked. "Naruto, tell me how you think you would have handled the current situation if you had been the Hokage."

Naruto paused for a moment and smiled at him. "It is pretty simple. First, I would have cleared all the baseless rumors that had spread in the village. It is pretty clear that the nine-tail fox incident was caused by a rogue ninja from Uchiha clan. No matter how desperate the Uchiha clan would have been, they are no fools to actually incite it when they are clear that the Sharingan flashing in the eyes of the nine tails would sell out their background."

Kakashi carefully analyzed his words and nodded his head, looking at Naruto with praise hidden in his eyes.

"Second, I will bring the Uchicha clan back into the village from the isolated side. The mistrust and isolation from the rest of the village had created feelings of ill-will among the Uchiha. With some benefits, I think I can easily solve that hatred."

Naruto took a breath and continued. "Third, I will dissolve the Konoha Police Force."

"W-Why?" Kakashi could not help but cry out in shock. It was basic knowledge that the Konoha Police Force was created by the second Hokage Tobirama Senju. The force consisted of Uchiha clan members who were either chunins and jonins.

The Konoha Military Police's purpose was to maintain the law in the village. 

Naruto smiled and could not help but chuckle at the silver-haired Jonin. "I don't want to say this but maybe the second Hokage didn't trust the Uchihas as much as he showed it on the surface."

"Why do you say that?" Kakashi asked curiously.

Naruto shrugged his shoulders and asked instead rather than answering him. "What do you think is the most important thing to become Hokage?"

Kakashi was slightly surprised by the return question but he knew the kid was very intelligent and he must have asked this question for a reason. So, he carefully thought about it and replied.

"It's strength and trust."

When he said that, his eyes sparkled with a hint of clear light as if he had finally unraveled something important.

Naruto grinned, "It's as you suspect... The members of the Konoha Military Police Force are tasked with maintaining the law but due to that, they will definitely not be liked by the villagers or other clans since they might harm their interests while maintaining the law which will lead to mistrust between the Uchiha clan and other clan. And then, the result, hehe..."

Kakashi's face darkened as he tightly furrowed her brows, grasping the grand plan behind the existence of the Konoha Police Force.

But the poor guy had failed to notice a red glint hidden in the eyes of the young yellow-haired kid who actually led him in their talk and actually hypnotized him without even letting the Jonin know.

Naruto chuckled at his success and laughed. "I will first dissolve the Konoha Military Force and then will create another force which will consist of members from all the clans in Konoha. It will not only lead to the birth of an even more powerful force but it will also drop the eerie targeted at the Uchiha clan by a large amount."

Kakashi could not help but nod his head, silently agreeing with him.

"Well, anyway, no matter how much I try, I am not the Hokage of the Konoha Village. Anyway, Kakashi, please teach me the hand signs for the Summoning Jutsu." Naruto shrugged his shoulders and changed the subject.

Kakashi was startled by his change and smiled. "Why do you want to learn that?"

"Well, Mom tells me that Dad can summon big frogs out of thin air. I also want to summon something too."

"Hahaha... But you cannot summon the animals like that. You first have to sign a contract with those animals." Kakashi explained patiently and patted his head.

"Why are you so stingy? Just teach me..." Naruto acted spoiled.

Kakashi laughed and taught him those hand signs before he took his leave.
