Chapter 501: An Unstoppable Longing and Desire
Ten kilometers south of Erantum, the capital city, lay a vast valley encircled by small hills ranging from twenty to fifty meters high.
Initially, the valley was home to weak monsters. However, over time, stronger creatures migrated in, preying on them until they were wiped out.
Despite its natural beauty, the valley remained classified as a dangerous area.
At this moment, in the valley's snow-covered center, stood a woman of breathtaking beauty.
Her features were flawless, framed by long, slightly wavy red hair cascading down to her lower back.
Her eyes, matching the color of her hair, radiated a mesmerizing charm capable of captivating anyone who gazed into them.
A red dress clung to her body, accentuating her slender waist and full curves.
Around her waist, a thin red shawl draped elegantly, adding both grace and an air of sharpness to her presence.
Snowflakes continued to fall heavily from the sky, yet none touched her, as if an invisible barrier shielded her from the cold.
*Whoosh!*
A streak of light shot down from the sky at an incredible speed, crashing into the ground just a few meters in front of her.
*Boom!*
A deafening crash echoed through the valley, sending shockwaves that kicked up dust and snow, forming a thin mist around the impact site.
Moments later, as the white mist slowly dissipated, a strikingly handsome man emerged, his black mantle billowing in the wind.
That man was none other than our dashing main character, Leon.
Turning his gaze to the woman before him, a soft smile played on his lips.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, Athena," he greeted gently, stepping toward her.
It had been a long time since he had last seen her, yet Athena remained as breathtaking as ever, leaving him momentarily entranced.
For a brief moment, Athena's expression softened at the sight of him. But just as quickly, her face turned cold again, and she let out a soft snort.
"Let's go," she said flatly, turning away.
Leon caught the subtle hint of annoyance in her tone and chuckled.
Closing the distance, he stopped right behind her, wrapped an arm around her waist, and buried his face against the right side of her neck.
"Didn't you miss me?" He teased, his warm breath brushing against her skin.
Athena's body trembled slightly, her legs momentarily weak. Had it not been for her stubborn resolve, she might have faltered.
"I... didn't miss you. Humph!" She huffed, quickly regaining her composure and sneering coldly.
Leon merely smiled. He knew she was pretending—and that was enough to put his mind at ease.
At first, Leon had been worried that Athena might hate him or be angry for not reaching out to her over the past few months. Fortunately, his fears proved unfounded.
Still, even if she didn't show her anger, he knew he owed her an apology.
Pressing his face against her soft, sweet-scented neck, he gently nibbled on her earlobe and whispered, "I'm sorry for not contacting you. There were many things I had to handle with Liliana regarding the cooperation between mankind and the Demon Empire. Will you forgive me?"
A shiver ran through Athena's body as his teeth grazed her earlobe. Her red eyes quivered slightly, and her breathing grew unsteady.
She had missed Leon terribly over the past months, longing to see him again.
Yet, her pride was far too great to reach out first. And the thought of Leon spending time with Liliana had only fueled her frustration, strengthening her resolve to stay silent.
Because of this, ever since their last meeting, she and Leon had not shared any intimacy.
As a dragon with an inherently strong lust, the past months had been pure torment.
Now, with Leon relentlessly teasing her, the desire she had been suppressing erupted like a nuclear explosion!
Her face flushed red, and her pupils transformed into a captivating symbol of love.
Without warning, she spun around and shoved Leon onto a snowdrift.
"Ouch!"
Taken by surprise, Leon stumbled backward, letting out a startled groan.
Before he could regain his footing, Athena swiftly straddled him, her breath quick and unsteady.
"I wasn't planning to do this so soon, but this is your fault for teasing me!" she declared before leaning in and capturing his lips in a deep, demanding kiss.
"Mmm!" Stunned, Leon froze, momentarily unable to respond.
However, he quickly snapped out of his daze and returned Athena's fervent kiss.
No matter the situation, he refused to be overpowered by a woman again!
Their tongues intertwined as they fought for dominance, neither willing to yield.
Unfortunately, Leon had underestimated just how much Athena had been suppressing her desire.
As if strengthened by sheer desperation, her kisses were so skillful and intense that he was completely overwhelmed and left utterly defeated.
After several minutes, Athena finally broke the kiss, gasping for air.
"Leon… Leon…" she murmured seductively, rubbing her flawless face against his.
Her red eyes blazed with love, obsession, and an unmistakable possessiveness.
A chill ran down Leon's spine as he quickly tried to regain his composure.
"Wait a second, Athena! Don't let your lust control you! If we're going to do this, at least let's find a hotel or a proper room first!" He reasoned, his voice laced with urgency.
Despite being together with her for so long, the intense way she was staring at him sent a chill through his body.
It was the gaze of a predator who had locked onto its prey.
Yet, Athena paid no heed to his words.
Consumed by lust, Athena had lost most of her rationality, allowing her dragon instincts to take control.
"Leon... Leon... You're mine... I won't let any other woman have you..." she whispered seductively, her lips brushing against his ear before she gently bit his earlobe.
"Hiss!" The sharp sensation sent shivers down Leon's spine, his body reacting instinctively.
He attempted to push Athena away—but failed.
Pinned beneath her in the snow, his legs were tightly restrained by her powerful red tail.
To make matters worse, a peculiar scent emanated from Athena's body, intoxicating him, filling his mind with obsession and desire.
Beneath his pants, the holy sword began to stir, and Athena immediately took notice.
"Oh?" A mischievous smile curved her lips. "Looks like I've woken it up… I suppose it's my responsibility to soothe it."
With that, she shifted slightly to the right, her left hand gliding over the bulge in his pants.
With slow, deliberate movements, she traced its outline, as if admiring something precious.
An indescribable sensation coursed through Leon's body, forcing him to grit his teeth. His breath hitched as he whispered, "Athena, I know you want this… But at least, let's find a proper place first."
He cast a glance around the valley, its vast expanse blanketed in snow, before sighing. "This really isn't the best place for something like this."
Unfortunately, Athena had no intention of listening.
She chuckled softly, trailing her tongue along his right cheek. "Don't worry, I'll set up a barrier to keep out any unwanted eyes. Besides, this place is completely secluded—there's no one within a two-kilometer radius. And also..."
She paused for a moment, then added in a tone dripping with obsession, "Wouldn't doing it outdoors be an exciting experience? We've never tried it before… This is the perfect opportunity."
Her shameless words left Leon utterly speechless.
At last, he realized—Athena had quite the unique fetish.
He parted his lips, intending to reason with her, but before he could speak, Athena silenced him with a deep kiss.
At the same time, she snapped her fingers, and a red barrier instantly materialized around them.
With that, she began to release the desire and longing she had been suppressing for months.
...
Meanwhile, in her workspace, Arshley sat leisurely, reviewing a document in her hand.
After carefully reading through it, she picked up a pen and signed her name.
She repeated this process over and over until, before she realized it, an hour had passed.
"Mmm… I'm so tired," she murmured lazily, stretching her arms.
The movement accentuated her perfect curves, her ample chest pressing against the fabric of her clothing—an enticing sight that, unfortunately, no one was around to admire.
Once satisfied, she took a sip of her tea and leaned back in her chair.
She turned her chair toward the large window, watching the heavy snow fall steadily outside.
"This winter feels so different without Brother Leon," she murmured, her tone calm yet laced with loneliness.
In the past, he would always return to the Holy Orthodox every winter to see her. They would spend time together, cherishing every moment.
But ever since he left for the Demon Empire, she couldn't help but feel a lingering sadness. The place by his side that once belonged to her had now been taken by Liliana.
She would be lying if she said she didn't feel envious or slightly resentful of that woman. However, any hatred that flared up quickly faded.
Despite her feelings, she knew there was no point in dwelling on such trivial matters.
Her focus now was on strengthening mankind, fostering ties with the demon race, and handling more pressing concerns.
Just then, a knock at the door interrupted her thoughts, followed by a cold, indifferent voice.
"Arshley, are you inside? I have a letter for you."
