My Manor

Chapter 342: Chapter 341: Filming Location

"This entire grassland is mine. We're now entering the residential area, where my workers live in small villas. Beyond that is the winery, and beyond the winery lies the forest I mentioned. Although it's not very large, it's home to many wild species, such as turkeys. Heading east, you'll find the pier, which has beaches and the sea..." Jiang Hai explained as he got into the car.

After hearing Jiang Hai's words, Ai Xiaoxi, who hadn't paid much attention before, looked around with growing curiosity at the vast manor. The four-wheeled motorcycle wasn't moving fast, and as Jiang Hai spoke, they were just about to exit the residential area. The winery ahead was now clearly visible. But at that moment, Feng Yunchen, who was sitting in the passenger seat, suddenly called out to Jiang Hai.

"Wait a minute, what's that?" Feng Yunchen pointed to a large deep pit outside the residential area.

"Oh, that's a swimming pool. It was left by the previous owner of this manor. It's very large but no longer in use," Jiang Hai replied. He added, "The pool's biggest contribution was that it served as a temporary residence for Dasha. Speaking of which, I haven't seen him in a long time."

"A swimming pool? Can it still hold water?" Feng Yunchen asked, looking surprised.

"Yes, it can," Jiang Hai confirmed, as he had filled it with water before.

"Great! That means we can take three sets of photos here," Feng Yunchen said with a smile.

Jiang Hai was a bit puzzled. "You have the sea and beach. Why shoot here?"

"You don't understand," Feng Yunchen replied. "Shots in a swimming pool are different from shots on a beach. Just trust my direction." She patted him on the shoulder, and Jiang Hai, still unsure, nodded.

"For the scheduled photoshoots, we'll take three sets in the car, three in the room, and three by the pool. That's nine sets in total. Let's move on," Feng Yunchen continued. Jiang Hai shrugged, still unclear.

He could understand why they'd want to shoot by the pool or the car, but what was the purpose of taking photos in the room?

It was clear from Jiang Hai's reaction that he wasn't interested in or particularly knowledgeable about photography. In fact, photos taken in a hotel room were some of the most crucial in the industry.

Driving a small car, Jiang Hai soon left the residential area and arrived at the winery. After months of growth, the vines had flourished under his care. When Afra and the others saw him arriving with two women, they looked on curiously.

"This is the winery," Jiang Hai said, greeting Afra and the others with a nod before introducing them to Feng Yunchen and Ai Xiaoxi. The women were eager to understand the relationship between Jiang Hai and the others, just as they were curious about Jiang Hai's relationship with Feng Yunchen.

However, Jiang Hai didn't offer any explanations, and they didn't ask too much. Instead, their attention was drawn to the winery.

The winery was divided into two sections: above ground and below. The above-ground building resembled a small European manor, with a tasting room and the like. Of course, the wine in it was for show, purchased by Jiang Hai. Below ground was the wine cellar, where wine was brewed and stored. Unfortunately, it was empty, giving the place a somewhat eerie feel.

"Here, you can take a set of photos above ground, but skip the basement. It's too gloomy," Feng Yunchen said, eyeing the cellar entrance.

"Got it," Jiang Hai said, shrugging, and continued to lead them away.

Not far from the winery was Jiang Hai's airport. Just then, a helicopter flew overhead.

Jiang Hai recognized it immediately—it was Bell Lester and Maren Rupert, who had just finished their first patrol. They were responsible for the aircraft here. Unlike Jiang Hai's calm demeanor, both Feng Yunchen and Ai Xiaoxi were visibly surprised.

"Jiang Hai, what's going on?" Feng Yunchen asked, as the helicopter slowly descended toward a building in the distance.

"That's a helicopter. It patrols my manor, covering both the sea and the land. It does two patrols each time," Jiang Hai explained, feeling a sense of pride as he watched the Z-11 land.

"You… you have a plane?" Ai Xiaoxi asked, bewildered.

"Yes, a helicopter for patrolling, and a regular plane to spread fish food and so on," Jiang Hai clarified, opting for "regular plane" instead of "aerial tractor" for easier understanding.

"Oh my God, you really have a plane? That's so cool!" Ai Xiaoxi exclaimed, her admiration for Jiang Hai growing.

"No wonder Sister Chen was so drawn to you," Ai Xiaoxi muttered, glancing at Feng Yunchen beside her.

"Planes aren't that rare in the United States, and because my manor is so large, it would take too long to patrol on foot, leaving opportunities for others to take advantage. A helicopter is far more convenient. As for the plane, using a boat to spread fish food is slow, but a plane does it much faster," Jiang Hai explained with a smile. He'd once been impressed by the plane too, but now it felt more practical than extraordinary.

"Can we go take a look and snap a few photos of the plane?" Feng Yunchen asked eagerly.

"Of course," Jiang Hai replied with a grin.

He turned the steering wheel and headed toward the airport. Once there, he let Feng Yunchen and Ai Xiaoxi explore while he checked in with Bell Lester and Maren Rupert about the situation.

The helicopter patrolling Jiang Hai's estate ensured that no one dared to approach too closely. If they did, they would be easily spotted and dealt with.

Feng Yunchen and Ai Xiaoxi had already arrived at the hangar by the time Jiang Hai finished talking. The two women were stunned by the sight of the two aircraft in front of them.

"Is this the small plane you mentioned? It's amazing!" Ai Xiaoxi exclaimed, her mind racing with the implications of Jiang Hai's vast wealth.

Jiang Hai chuckled and, seeing their curious expressions, offered, "If you want to take a ride, just let me know. After the shoot, I can have them take you up for a few laps in the sky."

Their faces lit up with excitement. This was a rare opportunity to take such unique photos.

After leaving the airport, Jiang Hai took them to the forest. The towering trees and the dappled sunlight on the path made it the perfect location for some photos, and the two women quickly decided to take several sets there.

Next, they visited the beach. When they arrived, their jaws dropped in awe at the breathtaking scene. The midday sun shimmered on the clear, transparent sea, and the endless sandy beach was pristine, with almost no stones. It was soft and inviting to the eye.

In the center of it all was a large pier, with several ships docked. Among them, the small boats caught the attention of Feng Yunchen and Ai Xiaoxi.

"You have yachts here?" Feng Yunchen asked, pointing to the boats.

"Well, those aren't yachts, they're boats used for fishing. But yes, I do have a yacht, which will be delivered in about a week," Jiang Hai said, calculating the time.

"A yacht?! What kind? Is it big?" Feng Yunchen asked eagerly.

Jiang Hai smiled and handed over his phone. "Here's a picture. Take a look for yourself."
