My Muscle System in the Mage World

Chapter 426: Mission to Kill, Finally a Bloodline Wizard

"Is it the Human Emperor?" Aur said almost instinctively.

"That's correct. All these clones are of one person—the Human Emperor," the childish, omnipresent voice sounded.

"Why would he do this, though? What does he gain from it?"

"To complete the Wizard Path. After reaching Tier Nine, it is the end of the path. There is nothing there but invincibility—nobody can defeat you, and all beings will tremble beneath you. However, everything is impermanent. All beings are mortal, and they have an end; they are bound to fate."

"You mean that Tier Nine can also die?" Aur said.

The omnipresent voice paused, did not respond to his query, and instead continued:

"In the golden age, there were many paths, and among them, some even reached Tier Nine. That so-called Human Emperor wasn't the only Tier Nine."

Aur nodded. He had already guessed as much from the start. If there had been only one Tier Nine in history, then he should have long united this world into a single force.

Those who seek power have ambition, and ambitious people will, of course, desire to be almighty and powerful. It's like a seasonal politician—it might seem as if every single one has dirtied their hands at some point in their lifetime. But why is that? Because to reach that position, they must dirty their hands.

There is no other way around it!

The world is cruel and cold. Weakness is scorned, and strength is praised—whether that strength is gained through cruel means or not, it doesn't matter.

"Every Tier Nine wizard represented an era and a path that flourished for nearly eternity. There were eleven Sovereigns before him, all of whom had reached the pinnacle of their path." The voice was filled with resentment.

"But that Human Emperor couldn't accept the fate of dying, a loser. He wanted to destroy the Fate Palace, to destroy his fate of dying and he did it."

"Why didn't the other Sovereigns destroy the Fate Palace before he came?" Aur asked.

"I was tricked. The Fate Palace, as always, chose a person who would reach Tier Nine and the path that would flourish. So it chose the Wizard Path and that boy. But I didn't know that boy was actually an unknown creature, the first one to enter my world, and Fate's string doesn't work on him."

"So after he became a Sovereign, he ruthlessly destroyed the Fate Palace. Now the world is in chaos and disorder, and the old monsters from even the Golden Era are still hiding somewhere, patiently waiting for their chance to reach Tier Nine."

"What about the Human Emperor, then? Where did he go after that?"

"I don't know. He vanished from the place, completely disappearing, leaving all this mess behind."

"..." Aur tilted his head toward the sky. "Finally, what do you want from me?"

"I want you to hunt all the unknown creatures that have come to this world and those who are blessed with luck—every single one of them."

"What will I get?" Aur squinted his eyes. He didn't ask why because he knew there would likely be no answer from this being. How could one reveal their full hand?

Besides, he wasn't interested in the reason. The only thing he wanted was benefits.

"I will grant you knowledge on how to advance your Body Path. Since you aren't affected by the rules of this world, you can even reach the Sovereign level with it."

"…Anything else?"

"You're quite greedy, brat."

"If I am to kill the unknown creatures and the darlings of luck, then I will have to fight the Divine Human Kingdom and almost all the top forces of the world."

Aur waved his hand. "I have to practically fight the world, so how could just a simple method be enough?"

"Alright, I will grant you this."

A pink beam of light shot through the sky, landing squarely on his forehead. Instantly, a tattoo of a pink lotus formed on Aur's forehead, glowing with divine light.

"I will give you a hundred years. If you cannot accomplish it by then…"

It didn't finish its statement before Aur completely vanished from the place.

After he disappeared, the childish voice was filled with resentment.

"I will end everything you have, Human Emperor."

Aur slowly opened his groggy eyes, seeing an unfamiliar ceiling above him. He stood up with difficulty and carefully felt his body.

Initially, almost all of his body was filled with golden blood, but now there was a dark green clot of blood essence right near his heart.

This green essence felt ominous, yet Aur could control it almost as if he had been born with it.

When he tapped into the green essence, mist submerged him. Within the mist, the fog was swept away by the wind, revealing a taller Aur—now more than three meters in height—with two large wings behind his back.

"This is a bloodline wizard?"

He looked at his hand. His strength had surged exponentially. Although he might only be Tier Four in the Body Path, he felt as if he could easily overpower his previous self—his strength had at least doubled.

But what was even more important was that he had now gained another Mental Space.

"This Mental Space is…" When Aur sensed the Mental Space hidden within his bloodline, his eyes immediately widened to the limit.

The space was vast. As he counted the steps, he realized it was eighty-nine steps—just one step away from reaching the Supreme Grade.

His eyes opened in the real world as he sighed.

"I guess I know why they are being suppressed so heavily. If they were allowed to progress freely, then…"

Aur's eyes narrowed. Two Mental Spaces, let alone one always having top-tier talent, didn't guarantee reaching Tier Seven, but with enough resources, the entire tribe could at least all reach the peak of Tier Six.

This might especially with the chance of them reaching Tier Eight and there combat power, that would truly be a terrifying force…

"Haha, congratulations, Aur! You have successfully become one of us."

Moonlight entered the room, smiling heartily.
