As soon as the tentacles came in contact with the core of the planet, an absurd amount of energy began to fly through them; instantly, Lucian felt the rush of such pure energy into his body, it was much larger than anything he had ever absorbed.

Using the flames of corruption, he barely managed to stop the energy from exploding his body as he soon tried to merge it into his body.The energy flooded Lucian's body, filling up each and every organ, bone, and cell. It almost seemed like an endless flow of energy.

His body began to glow as if he were about to explode, looking like a glowing bulb that was on the verge of going out. In the next moment, black smoke began to pour out within moments, appearing like a large explosion, corruption flames dancing around his body, helping him with all the energy.

The two giant figures finally stopped their slaughter after finishing almost all the creatures in the area around Lucian; then they positioned themselves exactly in front of Lucian, who sat right in front of the chasm.

Soon, energy started to merge with him; Lucian felt his energy pool increasing in size rapidly while his body was going through an evolution, improving rapidly with each passing second.

Lucian gave one last command to the two giants before his mind went blank and he focused solely on staying alive, like a broken dam, as waves after waves of energy poured through the tentacles into his body.

Velm also absorbed a part of the energy, yet the amount was so huge that Lucian felt as if his body was about to rip apart; his veins were bulging and his body was shaking violently.

His strength was increasing too rapidly; blood began to come out of his nose and even his eyes, and energy could be clearly seen crawling through his veins, almost making them explode.

Each second passed extremely slowly and seemed like torture; Lucian gritted his teeth, not giving in to the pain and just focusing on absorbing as much energy as possible.

He could sense that even Velm had absorbed a large amount of energy in such a short period of time; its strength kept increasing, otherwise the tentacles would have already exploded.

Beads of sweat poured all over his body, drenching him completely; thin lines began to appear all over his skin, bulging out slowly, threatening to destroy everything at any moment.

After a short period of time, the energy in the core of the planet had reduced by more than half; Lucian seemed as if he had already become a corpse, with many injuries covering his body and blood flowing out constantly.

Even the chasm had started to crack; its light flickered as if it were about to go out.

The two giants that had been standing like guards silently in front of Lucian finally reacted as they merged into one and decreased the size of their bodies.

Then, like a mad bull, the red figure charged towards him; all the area around it crumbled and collapsed, and the whole planet was about to become nothing more than rubble.

Lucian sat still; he could barely move his body or even lift a finger, his condition was too bad, and even the space itself appeared as if it were starting to break apart.

On the other side of the chasm, several women were protecting it as they stood right outside, observing their surroundings carefully, not missing a single change, but all of a sudden the chasm shook violently and its light began to flicker as countless cracks formed all over it.

All the women were shocked as they took a step back and stared at it with wide eyes, ready to defend; normally, if the chasm is completely cleared—meaning all the creatures on the other planet have died who could use Fog—then the chasm light will disperse and soon it will turn into energy, disappearing soon.

But this was completely different from the norm; remembering that Lucian was still inside, they were all filled with worry—if he really died, then their fate would be much worse.BOOMThen a figure, broken and bleeding, was thrown out of the chasm just a moment before it collapsed; without hesitation, all the women rushed forward and were shocked to see Lucian's battered state—he seemed dead.

"I- Is he dead?" one of the women mumbled, her voice crackling with fear and anticipation, as they paid little heed to the chasm that had now crumbled to pieces.

Just as one of them was about to check his pulse, Lucian sucked in a deep breath, but just breathing made his throat burn. Slightly opening his eyes, he looked around and registered his surroundings.

After seeing that he had successfully returned to Earth, he glanced at the women who were staring at him strangely. Using all the strength he could muster, Lucian only said one word: "LEAVE!!""!!!"Startled, all the women nodded and rushed out; they had even forgotten about his body's state earlier when staring at his face, since there was no mask on his face right now, so even with all the blood and injuries, they were able to see his face.

Despite being in such a state, all the women were instantly charmed by his looks; only upon hearing his order did they come back to their senses and disappear from the large room, not daring to even ask about his injuries.

Lucian stared at the ceiling with a blurry gaze and soon fell unconscious, as everything became dark and the pain began to feel distant.
