Seeing the quest appear certainly wasn't what Gary wanted to see at this moment. He noticed that the system itself was more relaxed when it came to giving quests. If he was just to fight a random gang member on the street, the system did next to nothing.

He had already reached his max level stats, so when he did get a quest, the reward was something outside of just levels now, and it also meant that the task ahead was also worth that level.

'This isn't going to be an easy fight, and if the quest comes up, it must mean he's serious!'

Without wasting time, and knowing who his opponent was right off the bat, Gary had decided to do something he didn't usually do.

[Full Transformation Activated]

"Everyone, stay back!" Gary shouted as his body started to transform as he ran forward. His form growing larger.

"The same for everyone else!" Lucien ordered. "All are to stay back."

Lucien dashed forward, and a lingering line of red aura followed behind him. At the same time, Gary went to swing for Lucien's head. The speed was incredibly fast, and the two of them almost appeared equal as they met in the center.

Gary took a swipe at Lucien's head, who lifted his arm to block the attack. As Gary's fist hit the side of Lucien's arm, a large amount of blood aura pulsated out, it rippled in the air and almost felt as if Gary had hit some type of barrier bouncing his arm away.

He was startled by the surge of powerful energy.

'This is not like the leader I fought before… can vampires really get this much stronger compared to each other?' Gary wondered.

Before he knew it, Gary was hit hard in the stomach, and the pulsing red aura exploded out from the area.

It was a quick hit, but Gary had extremely strong endurance and a large health pool, so he wasn't too worried, as he grit his teeth and continued to fight. This time, he went in for a tackle, charging straight at his opponent.

Lucien had jumped and flipped over him. When Gary turned around, Lucien used his leg to kick him right in the face.

'The large aura he's using is powering his attacks, but I should be able to get a hit on him.'

[Lethal Pounce]

Moving from the area, Gary was quick to move from side to side as he eventually leapt forward.

At that moment, Lucien twisted his feet and readied his hand, launching it back. The punch was thrown out at the exact time Gary had leapt forward, and the air as well as the rest of the punch had slammed right into his face.

Unlike the other vampires Gary had fought, this one hadn't used the red aura in a long-ranged attack. Instead, he was fighting close range.

'He must be quite confident in his hand-to-hand combat skills, and honestly, I can't blame him. He's good,' Gary thought.

[Lethal Pounce]

Gary moved from his position again, and dodged from the side, as he was in the middle of a jump, he used another skill.

[Claw Slash]

The attack went through the air, and Lucien struck it just like before with his hand, breaking the powerful Claw Slash in the air, but right behind it was Gary himself. He swung his fist out, and Lucien did the same.

At the same time, both of them had hit each other right in the face. Blood splattered slightly out of Lucien's mouth, but Gary was also equally hurt, and the punch felt even heavier than last time.

Gary backed up for a moment.

'I might be going crazy here… but are his hits getting harder, is he just warming up or something.' Gary tried to shake off the thought. He had finally hit Lucien, which meant if he could hit him, he could defeat him, this wasn't an impossible fight for him.

Meanwhile, at the back, the vampires were calm as they watched the fight that was taking place. Haylock in particular was observing Gary and the King, since he had also gone head to head with the two of them.

'If we were to compare the average werewolf and vampire. When it comes to close quarter combat, Werewolves have the advantage. They are physically superior, in speed, and strength. To make up for this, vampires have their blood aura, but depending on how one uses it, it can vary from vampire to vampire.'

'In the King's case, he is special even among his own family and other vampires. A man who excels in hand-to-hand combat, and is the basis for the vampire martial arts that we learn today. Maybe if it was one of the other Kings you would have had more of a chance, but Lucien doesn't need to be faster than you… and there's something else, I'm sure you have yet to figure out.'

The fighting continued with Gary using a number of skills and getting a hit, but he was getting hit at least two to three times before he got one hit in, and Gary was unable to follow up with another hit.

'I'm not going crazy, maybe I wouldn't have realized it if it wasn't for the system, but I think his punches are getting stronger with each hit… what even is this!' Gary thought.

As he slid back, and opened his arms wide, getting into position.

"Well, this fight was less eventful than I thought," Numan stated. "I thought because it was another Alpha that there would be quite the competition. He's a strong werewolf, but that is it."

"Do you think I would have returned and spoken to the King if this is all that he had?" Haylock answered. "He is far from done."

Gary wiped the saliva from his mouth after getting hit in the head.

'If he really is getting stronger with each hit, then I have no choice.'

Smoke started to appear from Gary's back, his fur began to darken, and it spread to the rest of his body as he grew slightly larger in size.
