My years as a superhero in Marvel

Chapter 9: Chapter 9: The Executioner in the Dark

New York at night has the decadence and glamour of a metropolis. As long as you have money, this city is your paradise. If you don't have money, this city is your hell!

The devils in hell will constantly tempt you in your ears, trying to appeal to your desires and greed. Once you respond, you will fall into the abyss.

The devils in New York are terrible. They corrode the hearts of the unsteady at all times. Let them fall into the abyss of crime. For money, they will sell their souls to the devil.

Franky was a man who sacrificed his soul to the devil of money. After tasting the sweetness of his first robbery, he could no longer stop. After that, he committed a tragedy of killing 21 people on the highway in Florida within three months. The police in the whole state of Florida were looking for him.

He was forced to start running away until he was accepted by the Stanich family, the top mafia family in the United States, and became an "executioner" who handled dirty work under their family.

In the past few years, Frankie has lived a much more comfortable life.

The Stanich family provides him with a considerable amount of money every month for him to squander. And the job he needs to do is to help the Stanich family get rid of people who should not appear in this world. Frankie likes this job.

Every time he sees the "prisoner" he executed wailing helplessly on the ground and making the entire floor bloody with blood plasma, he has a perverted pleasure.

But this good time ended a month ago.

A month ago, a sturdy man in black combat uniform and a brown windbreaker attacked a stronghold of the Stanich family in Brooklyn.

The man was like a black devil. He came in the night and appeared like a ghost at the dinner table of the Stanich family.

No warning, no questioning, his appearance meant killing. Two submachine guns swept through everyone present, and he continued to stab everyone until everyone was killed, not sparing anyone, including an underage distant relative of the Stanich family.

Frankie escaped the attack because he was helping to select wine in the cellar. When he saw more than 20 bodies scattered throughout the restaurant, he was frightened to death. For the first time in his life, he realized that he could be afraid. He left Brooklyn that night, but he didn't dare to flee New York.

Because he knew that the upper echelons of the Stanich family knew about the party that day, and he was there but he didn't die, which would obviously arouse the suspicion of the Stanich family.

As the "executioner" of the family, he knew very well what would happen if he betrayed the family.

Now there are people from the Stanich family squatting and monitoring on every highway leaving New York. Frankie has committed so many crimes over the years. If he didn't have the protection of the Stanich family, he would be dead if he was caught by the police.

Moreover, New York has a large number of people, so it is easier to hide. If he really went to other cities with smaller populations, he would probably be found by the local police soon. For the past month, he lived like a rat in the gutter, avoiding the police and the ubiquitous Stanich family's eyes.

What he was really afraid of was the black demon that day.

He had been having nightmares these days. He dreamed of a black demon calling his name and piercing his heart with a red-hot iron fork. He felt like he was going crazy. This was not only due to mental stress, but also because he hadn't had a proper meal for two days. Frankie's lunch today was toast that he snatched from a homeless man.

Frankie decided to make a move. He now had a pistol and a switchblade. It was easy to do this, just like the summer when he was seventeen. When he robbed a couple of their first money. It was a simple thing, and it would be done quickly as long as you chose the right person, Frankie whispered to himself.

Franky was wandering around the Fifth Street in Queens looking for his prey. At this time, a thin young man came into his sight. It seemed that this young man had just worked overtime and just got off work. The man kept yawning and looked weak.

Franky followed the man all the way to the corner of a street. Then Franky stepped forward, covered the man's mouth and nose with his hands to prevent him from making any sound, and then dragged the man directly into a secluded alley at the corner.

Before the young man could react, he was thrown into the alley by Franky. Just as he was about to resist and struggle, he saw a black muzzle of a gun pointed at his forehead. He had originally wanted to resist, but he immediately shrank back.

Jason had witnessed all this in the dark. It had been half a month since Jason's last gang fight. In the past half month, Jason had basically completed all the tasks of the novice hero, and only the last task of stopping the crime remained.

In the past half month, Jason's ability has improved rapidly.

This improvement does not mean that he has acquired any new abilities. Instead, it means that he has been able to use his existing abilities perfectly.

After half a month of training, especially the last battle against six gang members, Jason's combat experience and psychological quality have been greatly improved.

Now Jason can be truly regarded as a fighter.

Jason is now very familiar with the Fifth and Sixth Blocks in Queens.

In the past half month, he has prevented a vicious sexual assault case, a vicious armed robbery case, and six other common crimes such as knife robbery and theft in the two blocks.

Jason has a certain ability to identify criminals. When Frankie first appeared in Jason's sight, Jason saw that there was something wrong with him. He looked around nervously, carefully observing every passerby, and one hand was always in his pocket, as if he was holding something. Jason judged that it was either a knife or a gun.

Fortunately, Jason's hiding skills are now quite good. He hid himself in the dark without attracting anyone's attention, so Franky never discovered Jason.

Franky pointed a gun at the young man and said sternly, "Hand over your wallet, cell phone, watch and ring!"

Facing the gun, the man had no courage to resist. He could only take out his wallet and cell phone from his briefcase, take off his watch and ring and prepare to hand them to Franky.

"I don't think you're being too friendly."

A slightly teasing voice came from behind Franky. Franky was startled and immediately turned around and pointed his gun at his back. Franky saw a guy wearing a black hoodie with a black belt tied around his waist. His face was hidden under the hood and could not be seen clearly.

The best way to deal with danger is to kill him in advance!

This is Franky's motto.

Franky responded to Jason by pulling the trigger, but the moment he pulled the trigger, the gray figure in front of him suddenly disappeared. It turned out that Jason saw that he was about to pull the trigger, and directly launched the Eight Steps to Chase the Cicada, and the internal force was directly sent to the legs to burst out at an astonishing speed.

Franky didn't have time to react at all, and Jason had already dodged and stood next to Franky.

Frankie's shot was ineffective, and the bullet hit the air.

"I told you this is not friendly!" The cold tone in his ear made Frankie's soul tremble.

Along with Jason's voice, a black metal short stick fell. The short stick hit Frankie's right hand holding the gun hard.

Crack, another crisp bone fracture sound, this sound Jason has heard many times in the past half month.

Jason was sure that Frankie's right wrist had been broken. Frankie knelt on the ground holding his right hand and gasped.

"Night Walker! You are the Night Walker! I always thought it was just a legend! I didn't expect it to be true!"

The shivering young man said excitedly after seeing Jason's gray outfit and his agile skills.

"Night Walker?" Are you talking about me? Jason thought to himself.

"Everyone says that there is a protector in the dark between the Fifth and Sixth Blocks, who is dedicated to fighting crime here! We all call him the Night Walker. I always thought it was fake, but I didn't expect to see you today!" The young man has a tendency to become a die-hard fan of Jason.

"Okay~ No matter if it's a night walker or a day walker, you better pack up your things and leave now, sir." Jason urged the young man to leave the alley, and then turned back to deal with Franky.

Franky didn't want to escape during the conversation between the two, but Jason kept a close eye on him. Although he was talking to the young man, his eyes were always fixed on Franky.

Thinking about the other party's ghostly speed, Franky gave up the plan of escaping.

"Generally speaking, I would break one hand for a knife robbery, and both for a gun robbery. But since you shot me, I'm going to break your left shoulder as well. Do you have any objection?" Jason asked, pulling out two metal sticks from the space in his combat belt. Although he was asking questions, his tone was unyielding.

Franky watched Jason approach him step by step, and could only hide backwards desperately. Although Franky worked as an "executioner" in the Stanich family, he was essentially a weak person. He would only show his strength to those who were weaker than him, but he had no ability to resist those who were stronger than him.

"No~ please~ don't do this." Frankie knelt down with tears in his eyes and begged Jason to let him go.

"Everyone has to pay the price for their actions. Since you have chosen this path, you must be prepared for this." Jason ignored Frankie's crying.

As an adult who has lived two lives and whose real psychological age is already in his thirties or forties, he never believed in crocodile tears.

Bang, bang, bang!

Three times the short stick hit the body.

Franky's hands had been completely broken by the metal short stick, and his left shoulder was also smashed.

Even if he recovered, he would not be able to commit crimes in the future.

Jason put away the short stick as if he had dealt with a trivial matter. Then he used the light skill of the Eight Steps to Chase Cicadas to lightly jump over the three-meter -high wall behind the alley and directly left the fifth block.

After spending eighteen days to date, Jason has finally completed all the novice hero characters.

Franky looked in the direction where Jason left, with a look of resentment in his eyes, but it was soon replaced by fear. Because there was a person standing at the entrance of the alley, a person Franky would never forget. Black combat uniform, brown windbreaker. Hard-soled combat boots stepped on the solid concrete slab, making a clattering sound.

Franky tried hard to stand up and run away. But this alley was a dead end. Unless he could jump over the three-meter-high wall like Jason, the place where the man in black was was the only exit of this alley.

"Franky Korch, you've taken me a long time to find. You're as slippery as a mouse, but I'm very happy today because I found you before the Stanich family and the police. I wouldn't be happy if I let you die in the hands of others." The man in black approached Franky step by step. Franky saw a white skull printed on his black combat uniform, which looked so scary in the dark night.

"I~ I'm just a small pawn in the Stanich family. Everything was done by the family! I swear I never took the initiative to kill anyone." Franky said with tears in his eyes, as if it was true.

"Remember the mother and daughter you killed on the beach?" The man in black came close to Franky's face, staring at the corner of Franky's eyes. He watched Franky's eyes change from panic to realization to despair.

"Good, I think you remember! That's my wife and daughter! I really like what the young man said just now: Everyone has to pay the price for their actions! Remember to go to hell and tell those people from the Stanich family! The man who killed them is called Frank Castle!" After that, Frank took out a Browning 9MM caliber pistol, pointed it at Frank's forehead and pulled the trigger.

Hot sparks burst out from the muzzle of the gun, and the high-temperature bullet spun through Franky's brain, from the frontal bone to the frontal lobe and then to the occipital bone.

The spinning bullet brought out Franky's warm, bright red blood and grayish-white brain matter, and also took away Franky's sinful life.

Frank Castle took a deep look at the direction Jason left, then strode out of the alley.

Fight evil with evil, fight violence with violence! Frank Castle is the real punisher!
