Russell made it below the monster, but as he stabbed the monster with his knife.

It didn't able to, the fur was tough and too thick. Because of that he was in a pinch now, the tails of monster went straight at him trying pierce him.

Seeing it. Russell jumped sidewards to avoid it, but he managed to only dodge one tail. The other 4 was almost near him, so this time he went back below the wolflike monster.

He's has the advantage, due to him being at the monster weakest part. The only thing that can reach him were it's tail, it can't move because the cave wasn't that big. Therefore Russell was not gonna let go of that advantage, after all who's to say that he's gonna get an opportunity to dive deep in the enemies stomach.

And so he ran around near the foot, not letting the tails hit him at least once.

While his running though he keeps thinking of one thing, ' Activate!!! Skill!! ' he kept thinking and thinking about how to activate his skill. That he saw earlier, But it is to no avail. It is not activating, even Yue Min was doing the same.

They were trying to figure out how to activate their skills.

Just then though, Russell missteps due to his brain being too preoccupied by his skill activation.

He was hit in the stomach, the pain was disgusting. He threw up immediately, it was not as powerful as the swipe that hit Yue Min.

But it was painful enough to make him, one of the most physically fit college student in the world due to him being included in the most prestigious school.

After that hit, he was staggered. He wasn't able to move immediately, and a barrage of the tails rain down on him.

Hitting his face, chest, stomach, arms, legs, even his crotch. Causing him to flew a away from below the stomach of the monster, and collided with the tree outside the cave.

Now he's outside, Yue Min was left alone. She's probably gonna be fine for a few minutes, since nothing will really change. But once the monster get used and figure things out, she had no chance of surviving.

Thinking about it, they underestimate the monster they faced. Just because they easily killed their first monster, doesn't mean they're gonna be easily beat the others.

And now, they're suffering the consequences. But still Russell won't let himself die, nor anyone die. So he looked up at the sky and thought, ' please just...one more blessing anything... I'll take it...'

It was a greedy request. They were already blessed unlike the normal person, but to have the audacity to ask for more. Is something else, but still Russell wanted one more chance.

But the gods didn't answer him, actually no one answered him. Aside from one thing, when he asked for one more blessing.

Bard popped up a message,

[ Would you like to use your Blessing? ]

Seeing it Russell smiled and laugh a little, and groaned in pain. Because the barrage actually shattered some of his ribs.

But he did felt happy and dumb, he forgot that they're system is different from the fictional one's that he know.

And so immediately without question he answered, " Yes, Activate Body Blessing... " while groaning then the system responsed.

Russell seeing it, was baffled the sacrifice was gonna be painful. But he have no choice if he take too long anymore he's risking Yue Min's life.

So Russell braised himself, and answered " yes " to the Bard.

Russell seeing it widen his eye's, he was disappointed at it's effect. The description didn't really explained it's effect, but to him he wished it to be a heal of some sort.

But instead he got a physical buff, which is good. But not what he wanted, regardless he has to make good use of it.

And deal with the monster fast, and so even though his body is in pain. He stood up and ran back to the cave, as he ran back he's met with the five tails that the monster has.

But this time he's buffed, and so he gripped his knife and pointed its tip into the charging tail.

And slash it all, the first was slashed upwards cutting it in half, the second was cut sideways along with the third tale cutting them in to two, then the fourth and fifth was cut into several small pieces.

The monster feeling it's tail being cut, screamed and groaned. It's about to bite Yue Min again, but since Russell inflicted pain against it.

It staggered, and paused letting Yue Min run away. And take some distance, meanwhile the monster's looked through his leg's trying to find out the cause of its pain.

And there he found Russell rushing to his stomach, at an incredible speed. He was bleeding through the nose and mouth, but he was still running not giving up.

The monster was about to switch to Russell when he screamed to Yue Min, " Think about your blessings to activate it!! "

Then Russell tripped and fall face first to the ground. After he screamed, and since he tripped he's currently vulnerable making it easy to kill.

So the monster immediately tried to switch his target to him. It ignored Yue Min, a huge mistake of it.

While the monster was about to change its target,at that moment Yue Min slapped it's head, hard enough to make it so that the monster's head flew colliding to the walls of the cave.
