Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 77: Chapter 77

Uzumaki Chito's disdain for the Land of Lightningwas deeply rooted in history.

His resentment wasn't unfounded—the country had caused irreparable damage time and again. The loss of Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, during the alliance meeting with the Second Raikage, still lingered as a painful memory. Both leaders had been ambushed and killed by the infamous Gold and Silver Brothers. That incident had marked the beginning of Konoha's gradual decline, further exacerbated during Hiruzen Sarutobi's reign.

The shinobi of the Land of Lightning carried an innate arrogance, born of their strength. Yet their hubris masked an underlying fragility: their relatively small population compared to other great nations. Their numbers couldn't sustain prolonged conflict, which was the only reason they hadn't launched another war despite their military and economic might.

The Daimyo's Mansion of the Land of Lightning was a grand display of wealth and power, unmatched in opulence by the mansions of other nations. This extravagant symbol of national pride only fueled the arrogance of the country's people.

But today, the grandeur of the Daimyo's Mansion faced an unexpected challenge.

Three uninvited guests arrived at the gates.

"This is a restricted area! Leave immediately!" barked one of the guards, glaring at the trio. When they made no move to comply, he stepped forward, raising his voice. "Did you hear me? Leave, or face the consequences!"

Naruto turned to Neji, his blue eyes calm yet piercing. "Are we going in directly, or do you want to reconsider?"

Neji's lips curved into a small, determined smile. "We're going in. I've been preparing for this moment for years."

With that, he stepped forward, his Byakugan activating. The veins around his eyes bulged, giving him an intimidating presence. His gaze fixed on the mansion with icy determination, sending chills through the guards.

This was Neji's battle, his revenge. Naruto and Tsunade followed closely behind, ready to support him if necessary, but they would let Neji take the lead.

"Stop! You can't just barge in here!" shouted the guards. Yet, despite their bravado, their legs trembled, and they instinctively began to step back. The overwhelming aura of strength emanating from the trio was suffocating.

Realizing they were outmatched, one guard turned and bolted toward the mansion, shouting over his shoulder, "Hold them off! I'll warn the Daimyo!"

More guards swarmed to intercept Neji, but they were no match for him. One by one, they were effortlessly knocked aside, as though they were no more than leaves caught in a storm.

"Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation!" Neji shouted, unleashing a defensive whirl of chakra that sent the guards flying in all directions. Though he refrained from using lethal force, his strikes left them incapacitated, unable to stand.

Neji's mind burned with anger and determination. The events of the past were still fresh in his memory—his father's sacrifice, the injustice done to the Hyuga clan, all orchestrated by the Daimyo of the Land of Lightning. Though years had passed, the pain and bitterness remained.

Naruto and Tsunade watched in silence as Neji fought his way through, allowing him to vent his anger. Together, the three of them strode into the mansion without resistance, their presence radiating authority.

The Daimyo, having already been alerted, stepped out to meet them. His expression was cold, his disdain for the intruders evident.

It had been years since anyone dared trespass on his domain. As the symbolic leader of the Land of Lightning, the Daimyo's mansion was heavily guarded, not just by his own escort team but also by the elite ninjas of Kumogakure. The intrusion was nothing short of an affront to his authority.

"Arrest them all!" the Daimyo barked, his voice filled with contempt. "Interrogate them thoroughly. If they're from some insignificant village, wipe it off the map."

His arrogant tone didn't waver, though his words betrayed a growing frustration. As the Daimyo, he had wealth and status, but true power resided in Cloud Village. He had long been overshadowed by the Raikage and the military strength of the village.

Still, the Daimyo clung to the belief that his escort team, made up of highly trained chunin and led by a jonin, was a formidable force. But as his guards rushed to engage Neji, it became painfully clear how misplaced his confidence was.

Neji's gentle fists struck with precision, channeling chakra into his enemies' bodies and wreaking havoc on their internal systems. None of the guards stood a chance. One by one, they crumpled to the ground, unable to move.

The captain of the escort team finally stepped forward, his hand resting on the hilt of his blade. The weapon gleamed with a deadly poison, ready to end the fight in one strike.

Neji stood his ground, his Byakugan glowing as his vision expanded. The meridians around his eyes pulsed with chakra, enhancing his already formidable combat abilities.

"It's a Byakugan!" the Daimyo exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with greed.

To him, the white eyes of the Hyuga clan represented untold power. For generations, the Land of Lightning had sought to harness such abilities for themselves. The previous Daimyo had tried and failed to obtain the Byakugan, but now, one was standing right before him.

"Capture him!" the Daimyo ordered, his excitement barely contained. "I want those eyes!"

The captain of the escort team grinned, already imagining how the Byakugan would enhance his own power if transplanted. He drew his blade, the air between him and Neji crackling with tension.

Neji sneered, his fists tightening. This was the arrogance of the Land of Lightning —greedy, power-hungry, and shameless in their pursuit of strength.

The captain lunged, his blade flashing in the light. Neji countered with precise movements, dodging each strike with fluid grace. His soft fists struck back, forcing the captain to retreat.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed from outside. Reinforcements arrived, armed with bows and arrows tipped with poison.

The Daimyo had already retreated to a secure location, leaving his forces to handle the intruders.

"Fire!" the captain commanded, stepping back to allow the archers to take aim.
