Chapter 1: 1
The scorching temperatures of the desert were something Naruto believed he would never acclimate to.
He placed a hand on his forehead, groaning as the sun's warmth relentlessly hammered down on him.
If he wasn't already tanned, Uzumaki Naruto knew he'd be looking quite bronze by now if he were as pale as someone like… Hinata or Sakura-chan.
Naruto was quite an attractive boy with his lightly bronzed skin, bright golden hair resembling sunflowers; watery blue eyes that might be confused for sapphires in a cave's dimness; and, in addition, a notably tall and sturdy build.
He had undoubtedly grown into a man now, a significant transformation from the boy who became a shinobi at the young age of twelve.
Naruto let out a groan. For a short instant, he struggled clumsily, his hand reaching for the refreshing soda placed on the table before him; his slick, clammy fingers barely managing to hold onto the cup.
Once he successfully got a hold of it, he brought the glass to his lips and drank eagerly, savoring the sweet flavor that lingered in his mouth even after he set the drink aside.
A faint chuckle came from the individual seated across from him.
"Feeling slightly warm around the neck?" Temari remarked playfully, a smirk playing on her lips as she took a sip from her tea mug.
"That's putting it mildly," Naruto muttered. "For heaven's sake, how on earth does your village manage this throughout the entire year?" His voice expressed irritation, with blonde spiky hair cascading into his eyes.
Temari chuckled a bit more. "It's not as if you purposely decided to go to Sunagakure in July," she remarked, that playful tone becoming a bit more pronounced. She adjusted her sitting position slightly, crossing her legs.
He started to speak — then shut his mouth. Then it was opened once more. "Ugh," Naruto sighed, lifting his glass of soda and taking another lengthy sip.
"The next time I visit Gaara will be in December or January." "Foolish summer months..."
A cunning grin formed on her lips.
They sat just outside a café, at a cozy round table — the type with an umbrella to shield those beneath it.
The heat was so intense that the umbrella offered only a small amount of shade, yet Temari felt very at ease beneath it; in fact, almost everyone nearby appeared to be fairly happy despite the warmth.
Only Naruto — unfamiliar with the weather — was sweating heavily.
"It's likely time we head back to the tour," Temari remarked, finishing the last sip from her cup of tea before placing the empty mug down. "We have no time to squander."
"Of course," Naruto whispered. "Just allow me to complete my drink."
"That works for me," she said to him.
He took his cup and emptied it in a single gulp — placing it back on the table with an invigorating breath. "We've already settled the payment, correct?" Naruto inquired.
"Uh-huh."
"Does that mean we can simply leave?"
"Yes."
"Okay," Naruto replied, getting to his feet. He winced as he moved out from beneath the umbrella's cover. "Let's proceed, then."
Temari rose to her feet too, shaking the front of her kimono. Naruto gazed at her briefly… captivated by her appearance.
The stunning woman of the desert had the ability to leave one speechless... with curves in all the perfect areas, sandy blonde locks, a snug black kimono wrapped around her figure that highlighted her bosom and her ample hips… along with her charming backside.
The most enjoyable aspect of that last detail is that Naruto was spending an ample amount of time staying right behind her while he trailed her around the village, with Temari showing him the different landmarks.
"So, what are you holding out for?" Temari stated. Naruto shook his head, his ears coloring pink --- but then again, as he stared Temari straight in the eyes… were… were her cheeks slightly flushed? The edge of her mouth curled slightly, as though she realized precisely what he had been gazing at.
"Apologies," he whispered, looking away.
Temari chuckled.
As she pivoted and started to walk, Naruto couldn't help but observe that additional sway in her hips — a characteristic that hadn't existed previously.
He went after her.
Sure! Please provide the text you want me to paraphrase.
"You know, I can't help but think it's amusing," Temari remarked.
"Discover what is amusing?"
It was now evening—not fully dark, as it was summer and the sun lingered in the sky much longer than usual. The streets were clearing of married couples and single mothers, as the latter group was supplanted by the youth and young adults who filled the village at night.
Temari faced him, that identical grin on her lips.
"The reality that you've been looking at my backside all day and haven't even attempted to conceal it." The majority of guys… typically, they would have at least tried to be discreet.
Naruto's ears flushed a soft pink again — however… he had been discovered in the act; and he had never been one to attempt to deceive his way out of a predicament.
"It's a great backside," Naruto muttered, a weak effort to ease the atmosphere.
"Thank you." "I created it by myself," Temari joked. Naruto chuckled — they both reclined in their seats, exhaling.
Throughout the day, they had made their way in a large circular path… ultimately, they found themselves at the same café they had been to before; the only change was that they were seated at a different table.
