Chapter 126: Chapter 126: Hinata and Samui: So Big!
"Finally, this child's dream has come true."
Standing in front of a mass of purple chakra with Yagyu in the wilderness, Kurenai Yuhi looked at the cocoon-like chakra and smiled warmly.
Yagyu also praised, "Yakumo's strength now surpasses many jōnin. Once she expands her knowledge, she'll become just as skilled a genjutsu master as you, Kurenai-sensei."
"Don't flatter me," Kurenai responded, though she couldn't help but place one hand on her hip and smile proudly. "I know my own limits. I'm nowhere near the level of you two monsters."
Despite her modesty, Kurenai added with a grin, "But raising two genjutsu masters is enough of an accomplishment to crush Kakashi and his team. They underestimated me back then."
Hearing this, Yagyu smiled faintly.
"Let's go in and see how Yakumo and the others are doing."
With anticipation in her eyes, Kurenai led Yagyu toward the cocoon of purple chakra.
As they touched the chakra, there was no rejection from its owner. They passed through what felt like a door, moving from the clear, real world into a glitchy, frozen world—a painting where everything was still.
Kurama Yakumo stood before Yagyu and Kurenai.
The usually polite young lady didn't acknowledge her teacher or the person she admired. Instead, her face was serious as she worked quickly, brush in hand, painting furiously on her canvas.
Rumble... Boom, boom, boom...
The sound of earth shaking and objects colliding grew louder, approaching Yagyu and Kurenai.
The two exchanged glances and vanished in an instant.
The scene shifted to a grand mansion in ancient Japanese style, vast in scale.
Hinata and Shino were effortlessly taking down the samurai and archers in front of them, as well as those detected by Hinata's Byakugan.
Their movements were swift, and their attacks were perfectly measured. They didn't kill anyone but incapacitated them so they couldn't continue fighting.
This was their specialty.
With just a single strike to a pressure point, Hinata could knock someone out.
Shino's bugs, when released into an enemy's body, could rapidly drain their chakra or energy, leaving them utterly weak.
Hinata handled close-range combat, while Shino covered from afar. Hinata used her Byakugan to lock onto targets, and Shino used his insects' sense of smell to track them.
The two worked together with great synergy. Outside the mansion, over a hundred people had been taken down, whether they had chakra or were ordinary people.
Even the eight personal guards inside the mansion had come out to assist, only to be swiftly defeated by Hinata and Shino.
As the fallen were bound by vines breaking through the ground or encased in liquefied earth, it became clear that this wasn't Yagyu's doing, but rather Kurama Yakumo's, controlling the illusionary space like a god.
"Lightning Release: Lightning Slash!"
Just as Hinata and Shino finished taking down the archers and samurai and were heading into the mansion, a massive bolt of lightning, like a blue-white arrow, shot toward Shino.
Shino didn't flinch, not even attempting to dodge.
Hinata also made no move to assist.
Boom!
A large earthen wall suddenly erupted from the ground, blocking the lightning attack.
In the next moment, a figure with tan skin appeared behind Shino, wielding a katana infused with Lightning Release chakra, slashing to cut him in half.
"A Cloud ninja, huh? That makes sense," Shino murmured calmly as his body, sliced in two, turned into countless black insects, scattering into the air.
Seeing this, the attacker, Karui, frowned. "A Leaf Village bug user!"
"Karui, watch out!"
An urgent voice called out to Karui.
Whoosh!
A shadow dashed forward so fast that the sound of it cutting through the air only arrived afterward.
As Hinata's fist approached, Karui instinctively raised her katana to block, surrounding herself with an electric aura and focusing chakra in her legs.
If given another second, she could have used the Body Flicker Technique to escape.
Hinata didn't halt her attack, though. Suddenly, a layer of blue chakra enveloped her small fist.
Boom!
Before Hinata's fist even made contact, the chakra burst forward like a violent gust of wind, blowing Karui and her katana away.
Crack!
The sound of the blade breaking filled the air, but Karui didn't care about her weapon—she was already coughing up blood, her eyes rolling back.
The chakra that had exploded not only created a shockwave but also sent a twisted current into Karui's body, wreaking havoc on her internal organs. Her vital organs were bleeding, nearly rupturing.
With a thunderous crash, Karui slammed into a stone wall, collapsing among the rubble, unable to stand again.
Hinata had taken her down with a single blow.
"Karui!"
The earlier voice, now full of anger, called out.
A shadow darted through the air, appearing behind Hinata, ready to strike with a katana held high.
"Eight Trigrams: Air Palm!"
Hinata quickly gathered chakra in her hand and fired it, not at the figure in the air but at a blue-white streak of light approaching her rapidly.
The lightning and the Air Palm collided, creating a massive explosion.
A giant vine burst from the ground, blocking the airborne attack and knocking the assailant back.
As the attacker landed, a swarm of bugs materialized in front of him, forming into Shino's body. "A Cloud ninja, huh? Your opponent is me."
"Die, Leaf ninja!"
Infuriated by his companion's uncertain fate, Omoi lunged at Shino in a blind rage.
Meanwhile, the figure that had deflected the Air Palm came charging at Hinata, a short sword crackling with Lightning Release chakra aimed straight at her.
Hinata, already prepared with her Byakugan active, calmly blocked the attack with a kunai enveloped in blue chakra.
The figure wielding the sword was revealed as the wind blew back her straight, shoulder-length blonde hair. Her striking features bore a cold, indifferent expression, and her blue-green eyes glimmered with fierce determination.
As the chakra around their weapons exploded, it caused both Hinata's and Samui's clothes and hair to flutter wildly.
The immense power also caused their chest areas—both considered some of the most well-endowed in the ninja world—to shake dramatically.
Though both were battle-hardened jōnin with strong mental fortitude, Hinata and Samui couldn't help but be momentarily distracted by each other's ample figures, each thinking in surprise:
So big!
