"Bring them back?"

Uchiha Itachi looked at Sarutobi Hiruzen, slightly surprised. However, he still nodded. "Do you mean bring all of them back?"

Itachi hadn't expected that Sarutobi Hiruzen, upon just receiving the news, would order him to bring back all those spoiled kids.

Although Genya's actions in capturing those people were a bit reckless, Itachi still thought they deserved punishment. To demand their return now seemed like blatant favoritism.

"Cough, cough... Of course, bring them all back!" Sarutobi Hiruzen cleared his throat twice. He had sensed the surprise in Itachi's tone. 

Taking a puff of his pipe, he continued, "This matter has become quite serious, and it involves both the ninja clans of Konoha and the civilians. I must punish these brats severely. This will ease the worries of the civilians and make the clan heirs think twice before acting so recklessly!"

Sarutobi Hiruzen spoke with righteous determination, all for the peace between the ninja clans and the common folk of Konoha.

"I understand. I'll bring them back right away!" Itachi nodded and turned to head outside.

Itachi's thoughts mirrored his actions. He needed to settle the matter quickly to avoid further chaos.

Otherwise, it might cause unrest in Konoha and stir up complaints from the civilians.

For the sake of Konoha, he had to resolve the situation and control public opinion. 

Genya really was a troublesome character—didn't the Uchiha Kinya care about him at all? Letting Genya act so recklessly?

If this situation escalated, they might even offend Konoha's Five Great Ninja Clans.

While contemplating the key details, Itachi arrived outside the Merchant Association's Police Force. At this moment, there were still many people gathered outside. 

Genya seemed to have just returned from the hospital, holding a medical report and raising it in front of the crowd.

"It looks like everyone is still worried about Shou Kui's injuries. The injury report has just come out, so let me read it to you all!"

"But, please control your emotions and listen carefully."

Before even reading the report, Genya had already built up the tension, raising the villagers' emotions in an instant.

Because, if he said this, it meant Shou Kui's injuries weren't looking good.

The crowd immediately quieted, holding their breath, waiting for Genya's next words.

"Shou Kui is badly hurt. He has fractures in both legs, making it difficult for him to stand!"

"He has three broken ribs in his chest, and there are several other injuries all over his body!"

"The brain was also affected by the violent impact, causing some confusion in consciousness. It's possible there's internal bleeding!"

"Even because of the long-term beatings, mental scars have formed, leading to some psychological issues!"

"But don't worry, our Uchiha Hospital will treat Shou Kui for free this time. Everyone don't need to worry about Shou Kui's injuries!"

The list of injuries was read out loud, and those who were already fired up became even more agitated.

Those ninja clans went too far.

"This Genya really has some skill." Itachi, who had been observing from the shadows, couldn't help but be surprised at Genya's actions.

How much time had passed? He had already arranged everything and even put those spoiled heirs from the ninja clans on the pillar of shame.

Even if those clans or the Hokage wanted to make a move, they would find no reason to do so.

And the Hokage would even have to apologize.

Itachi just watched, waiting until Genya finished handling the outside matters before he finally walked into the Genya Merchant Association Police Force's office.

"You're here, Itachi?" As soon as Itachi entered, Genya spoke with a smile, looking at him. "It's always so hard to see you!"

Behind Genya stood Uchiha Fūrin and Uchiha Shin, both of them vigilantly watching Itachi!

Outside, Genya had already seen Itachi and guessed his purpose for coming!

"You knew I was coming?" Itachi frowned as he looked at this child, who seemed younger but appeared more mature than he expected. His intellect didn't seem as simple as Itachi had thought.

"Of course. The Sarutobi clan made a mistake, and the Hokage was too embarrassed to come, so he sent you to bring the person over!" Genya gestured for him to sit and slowly spoke.

"You're mistaken. The Hokage wants to ease the conflict between the ninja clans and the civilians. It's not about caring for the spoiled heirs of the Sarutobi clan," Itachi said calmly, his face serious. 

That bitter expression was beginning to annoy him, like Genya had done something to him personally.

"Easing the conflict? Do you think he will side with the ninja clans or the civilians?" Genya asked.

Itachi remained silent, his response trailing off.

"It seems like you already have an answer in your mind!" Genya took a sip of tea and, seeing Itachi remain silent, continued, "If our Hokage really wanted to handle this fairly, he would wait for the Police Force to finish their work, punish those people, and then reprimand and educate them. But instead, he sent you to fetch them. Doesn't that seem like he wants to favor his grandson?"

"I'm certain that if this matter were handled by the Third Hokage, it would have a lot of noise but little action. Those ninja clan heirs would definitely not face any punishment!"

Genya spoke with confidence, waiting for Itachi's response.

Itachi had no words to counter this. He was smarter than Shisui and had already guessed some of what was happening.

"Genya... what are you trying to say? I know that's not your real intention!" Itachi knew Genya wasn't trying to say this directly, so he asked.

Genya had a deeper meaning behind his words.

"Hehe... there's nothing else to say!" Genya said, his expression becoming serious. 

"I just want to tell you, even the Third Hokage has his own selfish motives. He would sacrifice Konoha's interests for his clan. I think... when you face choices in the future, I hope you'll stand with your clan!"

Genya made it clear. If he could persuade Uchiha Itachi, then he wouldn't need to waste so many schemes.

The Uchiha clan had strength, with both Itachi and Fugaku having Mangekyō Sharingan. No one in the village could shake them!

He hoped Itachi would understand.

"I understand!" Itachi said, his face still looking serious, almost unchanged. He then looked at Genya and asked, "Where are the troublemakers you captured? I'm taking them back!"

Genya paused, his hand holding the tea cup frozen for a moment. His gaze became complicated as he looked at Itachi.

However, under Itachi's serious stare, Genya finally spoke, "You don't know? I don't have a place to hold prisoners here. I already sent them to the Uchiha Police Force—the clan leader's Police Force."

"You sent them after I came in?" Itachi asked sharply, his eyes widening.

Itachi realized Genya had been playing a two-sided game.

At this moment, if he went to his father to ask for someone. The civilians would say it was his father not following the rules, and it had nothing to do with Genya!

From the moment they were caught, Genya had already planned his next move.

"Genya. I think I underestimated you!" Itachi's tone grew cold.

"Where? It's just a small trick, wasn't it already seen through by you?" Genya replied with a smile.

"Hmph." Uchiha Itachi snorted coldly and, uninterested in Genya's nonsense, turned and left.

He still had tasks from the Third Hokage to handle, and he couldn't waste time with Genya!
