Chapter 1: Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Chapter 1: A New Beginning

The neon lights of the city burned bright against the midnight sky, a dazzling spectacle of reds, blues, and yellows illuminating the skyline. Massive electronic billboards flashed advertisements—some featuring famous idols, others showcasing the latest technology. The streets below bustled with life, even at this late hour. Office workers, university students, and night-shift employees weaved through the crowded sidewalks, their conversations blending into a cacophony of urban life.

Honking horns and the rhythmic beeping of pedestrian signals filled the air as cars and motorcycles zipped through the streets, their headlights slicing through the darkness. Street vendors lined the sidewalks, their carts steaming with freshly cooked skewers, ramen, and other late-night delicacies. Somewhere in the distance, a busker played a melancholic tune on his guitar, his voice barely rising above the noise of the city.

Amidst the sea of people, a young man in his late twenties strolled down the sidewalk, his office bag slung over one shoulder. His name was Tenko, and tonight was supposed to be a special night.

Three of his friends walked beside him, engaged in an animated conversation.

"Have you seen the latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex?" one of them asked, pushing his glasses up his nose.

"Nah," the guy next to him scoffed. "I ain't reading any of that Boruto stuff. Why would I even bother with the new chapters?"

"Well, it gets better," the first guy insisted. "Did you know Boruto now knows the Flying Raijin? That's so cool. And he even made a new Rasengan called Usuhiko!"

"Stop it, you two," the third friend interjected. "Today is Tenko's birthday. Instead of arguing, think about what gifts you're getting him."

Tenko chuckled, shaking his head. "I don't actually need gifts. You guys coming to celebrate with me is more than enough."

"Don't be so humble, Tenko," the first friend teased. "It's your birthday, and a birthday without gifts is like ramen without broth—completely pointless!"

"Hey, Tenko," the second guy changed the subject. "Aren't you reading that Solo Leveling manhwa I recommended? How is it?"

"It's okay," Tenko replied, glancing at his watch. "I'm almost halfway through, but I haven't had much time to finish it."

As they continued walking, laughter and idle chatter filled the air. The city, despite its never-ending movement, felt warm in moments like these—surrounded by friends, enjoying the simplicity of life. Then, everything changed.

Tenko noticed something out of the corner of his eye—a young boy, no older than ten, stepping into the busy road, his eyes glued to his phone. The traffic light had just turned green, and an oncoming truck was speeding toward him.

The world seemed to slow.

Tenko's heart pounded as he scanned the crowd. No one was moving to help.

Damn it!

Without hesitation, he sprinted forward. His legs burned as he pushed himself harder, faster, the sounds of his friends shouting his name fading into the background. In one swift motion, he shoved the boy out of harm's way.

Then—

CRASH!

The force of the impact sent him flying. Pain exploded through his body before everything went black.

---

The Godly Realm

Silence.

Then—floating.

Tenko opened his eyes to an endless expanse of white. There was no ground, no sky—just a vast void stretching infinitely in every direction. He felt weightless, drifting aimlessly in nothingness.

"What... the hell?" he muttered.

A presence stirred.

Then, he saw them.

Four figures stood before him—towering cosmic beings of incomprehensible power. Their forms constantly shifted, as if they were composed of the very fabric of existence itself. Some had humanoid shapes, while others looked more alien, their bodies shimmering with the energy of stars. One was massive and muscular, another small like a child, the third appearing more human-like, and the last resembling an ancient sage.

Tenko swallowed hard. "...Where am I? Is this heaven?"

"No, human," the largest being spoke, its voice resonating with both male and female tones. "This is the Godly Realm—where we, the Celestial Beings, reside."

Tenko's mind raced. Celestial Beings?

"Think of us as the closest thing to gods," the childlike figure added, its voice playful yet eerie.

"...Why am I here?"

"We have summoned your soul here for a purpose," the human-like one explained. "We Celestials create and destroy worlds as we please. Our primary source of entertainment is watching different worlds grow and evolve. In other words..."

"We play sandbox with reality," the small one finished, grinning.

Tenko's eyes widened. Sandbox? What kind of messed-up beings were these?!

"But recently, we made a mistake," the old sage-like being said gravely. "We attempted to create a new world by combining an existing one with fresh elements. The results were spectacular, but there was a problem..."

Tenko remained silent, waiting for the explanation.

"By altering the world's structure, we erased its anchor," the human-like Celestial continued. "An anchor is the individual a world revolves around—the protagonist. Without an anchor, the world becomes unstable. Our master is... displeased."

The small one sighed. "To fix this, we need a new protagonist. And that's where you come in, Tenko."

Tenko's mind reeled. "Wait, wait, wait—are you saying you want me to be the main character of this world?"

"Exactly," the human-like Celestial confirmed. "The world we modified was Naruto. However, we changed it so that instead of ninjas, there are hunters, and the world is now filled with dungeons and monsters."

Hunters? Dungeons? This sounded more like Solo Leveling than Naruto!

"You will understand more after reincarnation," the Celestial continued. "For now, know that we have granted you some special abilities beyond what a protagonist would normally have."

Tenko could barely process it all. Was this real?

"Enough talk," the massive being said. "Goodbye, little human."

Before he could protest, his vision darkened again.

---

Soft sunlight filtered through the paper windows of a traditional Japanese-style house. The faint sound of birds chirping filled the air.

Tenko's eyes fluttered open.

The first thing he noticed was that his body felt... different. Smaller. Weaker. His hands—tiny.

His breath hitched as he scrambled to his feet, spotting a mirror in the corner of the room. He hesitated before stepping forward, his heart pounding in his chest.

He looked into the reflection—

A four-year-old boy stared back. His hair was a mix of blonde and silver, his eyes a sharp electric blue. He still had the signature whisker marks on his cheeks, but his features seemed different—more refined. A blend of Naruto Uzumaki... and Killua Zoldyck.

Shock coursed through his veins as realization dawned on him.

He opened his mouth, his voice now small and childlike.

"...Am I Naruto?"
