Zabuza's eyes narrowed as he observed Sasuke.

Even though his water clones only had a fraction of his true strength, the fact that Sasuke dispatched them so easily meant he was at least approaching Jōnin level.

Gritting his teeth, Zabuza quickly formed a one-handed seal. Three more water clones emerged from the lake, their figures rising like phantoms.

"Sasuke, don't get careless!" Kakashi's voice came from inside the water prison.

Zabuza wasn't just powerful—he was cunning. Sasuke might be strong, but his lack of real combat experience was a concern.

Sasuke smirked, flicking his wrist as several shuriken shot forward in unpredictable arcs.

Zabuza raised his massive blade.

Sasuke's swift kick shattered another water clone, dispersing it into mist.

"Damn it! Shadow Clones? This brat actually learned such a high-level technique?" Zabuza's eyes darkened.

Unlike water clones, Shadow Clones possessed the same strength as the original body. Under Sasuke's relentless assault, Zabuza's clones were quickly overwhelmed.

"Tch… Persistent brat!"

Undeterred, Zabuza created even more clones—seven, eight, nine…

But Sasuke merely smirked. "Running out of tricks?"

With a quick seal, his chest expanded.

A massive fireball erupted from his mouth, its heatwaves distorting the air as it rushed forward.

The clones vanished the instant they touched the flames, turning into steam.

The Great Fireball roared toward Zabuza.

"Damn!"

Zabuza leaped back, barely avoiding the blast.

The water hissed where the flames struck, sending up a thick mist.

A figure flashed through the mist—Kakashi!

"Nice work, Sasuke," Kakashi said, landing beside him.

"Hey, Kakashi, are you planning to fight alone? What about teamwork?" Sasuke smirked, stepping forward.

Kakashi chuckled. "You're right—teamwork!"

Together, the two rushed at Zabuza.

"Damn Uchiha brat!" Zabuza growled. He swiftly formed seals.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!"

The water churned violently, forming a massive dragon that roared toward them.

But Kakashi had already mirrored his movements.

Another water dragon surged from behind him.

The two attacks collided, sending waves crashing in all directions.

Sasuke used the distraction to close in. His kunai sliced through the air, aiming straight for Zabuza's head.

Zabuza's eyes widened.

At the last second, he twisted away. The kunai barely grazed his cheek, leaving a thin trail of blood.

The beheading sword came swinging down—only for Sasuke to flip backward, dodging effortlessly.

"Hah… You missed."

But suddenly, a hand shot out from the water, grabbing Sasuke's ankle!

"Got you, brat!"

Sasuke grinned. "Really?"

Poof!

His body disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"What? A Shadow Clone? When did he—?!"

Before Zabuza could react—

BANG!

A powerful kick struck his jaw from below, sending him flying out of the water!

Blood dripped from his mouth as he crashed onto the surface.

But Sasuke wasn't done.

Dropping from above, he slammed another kick toward Zabuza's head.

Zabuza barely managed to roll away, swinging his blade in retaliation.

Sasuke's kunai was knocked aside, and the massive sword grazed his arm, drawing blood.

"Tch…" Sasuke stepped back, but Zabuza seized the opening.

"Die!"

The executioner's blade came down—

Lightning crackled around Sasuke's body.

Zzzt! Zzzt!

A surge of electricity raced through the beheading sword, shocking Zabuza on contact.

"Aaaghhh!"

Zabuza convulsed, his muscles locking up.

"Sasuke, now!" Kakashi shouted.

Chidori!

A sharp, high-pitched chirping filled the air as Kakashi charged forward, his hand glowing with piercing white lightning.

The deadly attack streaked toward Zabuza's heart—

But suddenly—

A massive ice mirror materialized between them.

KRAK!

Chidori struck the ice, shattering it into countless shards.

The mist thinned, revealing a masked figure in green clothing standing beside Zabuza.

With a swift motion, they wrapped a chain around his weakened body.

"Konoha ninja… Zabuza is our target," the masked individual said in a calm, soft voice. "He has committed numerous crimes. He must be taken back to Kirigakure for execution."

Kakashi narrowed his eyes, studying the mask.

"Mist Hunter-nin?"

It was true that Zabuza was a rogue ninja. But the timing of this appearance felt too convenient…

"Hmph." Sasuke took a step forward. "You can take him, but I should at least finish what I started."

He flicked his wrist, sending a shuriken spinning toward Zabuza's neck.

Clang!

A thin steel needle intercepted the attack midair.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed.

"…It seems you're an enemy rather than a friend."
