"Yo, Naruto, you're here early today," Shikamaru greeted lazily, his arms resting behind his head.

Naruto grinned, stretching as he pulled out a recliner and plopped down next to him. "Some people just don't get enough beatdowns in life."

Chōji, munching on a handful of chips, glanced at Naruto. "The graduation exam is coming up soon. How's your Three Basic Jutsu going?"

"He knows Three Basic Jutsu, my ass. Every time there's an exam, it's a damn disaster." Kiba scoffed from the far end. "Ain't that right, Akamaru?"

"Woof!"

Naruto looked at the tiny pup and rolled his eyes. "I told you already, stop keeping that little furball. It looks like a stray mutt. You should be grateful I gave you a proper ninja dog a while back—a Husky! That thing is practically a summon-level beast. Show some respect!"

"You bastard! Don't remind me of that menace!" Kiba snapped, grinding his teeth. "I left it alone at home for one damn afternoon, and the whole house was in ruins!"

Naruto plucked his ears as if dusting away Kiba's yelling. "Hey~ don't be so loud. You should admire the sheer power of Huskies. They can wreck an entire house in half a day—now that is talent!"

"Get lost!" Kiba barked furiously.

Before Naruto could continue, an all-too-familiar voice rang out from behind them.

"Naruto! Shikamaru! Chōji! Kiba! You four idiots sneaking off again?!"

Iruka-sensei's furious voice made all four of them stiffen. The moment they turned their heads, they saw their teacher charging at them in a green vest, looking ready to kill.

"The wind's blowing in the wrong direction—run!" Naruto yelled dramatically before making a break for it, scaling the academy wall in a flash.

As he landed, he spotted Sasuke walking over in his training uniform, looking exhausted. Smirking, Naruto approached him.

"Come on! Struggle! Work hard! Keep pushing forward, emo boy!"

"Shut up!" Sasuke growled.

"Oi oi, don't get so worked up~ hahaha!" Naruto laughed, dodging the glare Sasuke shot at him before taking off.

Ichiraku Ramen

"Old man Teuchi! One big miso tonkotsu ramen!" Naruto called out as he entered Ichiraku Ramen, already making himself comfortable.

"Naruto! It's been a while," Teuchi greeted with a smile. "This one's on the house today."

"Seriously?! Thanks, old man!" Naruto beamed.

As Teuchi disappeared into the back to prepare the ramen, Naruto dropped his carefree facade, turning toward the cloaked figure seated next to him. The man was dressed in a black cloak adorned with red clouds, a bamboo hat obscuring his face.

"So? Orochimaru's finally ditched Akatsuki?" Naruto whispered.

The man lifted his head slightly—Uchiha Shisui.

"You guessed right," Shisui murmured. "After realizing he couldn't get his hands on the Rinnegan, he turned traitor and fled. Before leaving, he even picked a fight with Itachi, but…" Shisui chuckled darkly.

Naruto snorted. "Scientists really do have brain damage. His soul transfer jutsu isn't even perfected, and he thought he could mess with souls? What a dumbass."

Shisui smirked. "So, what now?"

"Get in touch with Sasori. Have him use Kabuto to keep tabs on Orochimaru and push forward the ' Konoha Crush' plan." Naruto's voice was calm yet laced with mischief.

Shisui nodded, dropping a few coins on the counter before walking out.

"Naruto! Your ramen's ready!" Teuchi called, bringing over a steaming bowl of tonkotsu ramen.

Naruto grinned. "Alright, old man. We have a deal—if I don't graduate from the academy, I'll become your apprentice and learn to make ramen!"

Teuchi laughed heartily. "It's a promise!"

Naruto exhaled, feeling satisfied. Walking through the streets of Konoha, he casually spotted Sasuke in the distance—his dear "rival" whom he had, little by little, influenced into working for him. The thought was deeply satisfying.

Stopping by a dango shop, he bought two skewers of five-colored dumplings and bit into one. Now this is the life.

Back to Reality

"Naruto!"

A loud, pissed-off voice rang from behind.

Naruto turned around, lazily licking his dango. "Oh, hey, Iruka-sensei."

"'Hey' my ass!" Iruka shouted, grabbing Naruto by the collar. "What the hell are you doing outside during school hours?!"

Naruto feigned innocence. "Taking in the fresh air, ya know? It's important for a growing boy."

"You're skipping class, again!" Iruka roared. "You've already failed the graduation exam—twice! And now you're slacking off like you don't care?! You should be studying, not wandering around eating dango!"

"Hai, hai~" Naruto waved dismissively.

Iruka's eye twitched. "Why are you so damn carefree about this?"

Naruto smirked, tapping his temple. "Because, sensei, in the grand scheme of things, I'm already winning."

"Winning what?! You haven't even graduated!"

Naruto leaned back dramatically, raising a hand to his forehead like some tragic poet. "Then why don't you just drive me away~?"

Iruka's veins nearly burst.

"You little brat—YOU'RE COMING BACK TO CLASS, NOW!"

With that, Iruka dragged Naruto all the way back to the academy, kicking and screaming.

And so, another chaotic yet strangely satisfying day in Konoha came to an end.

Naruto Uzumaki—future Hokage, prankster extraordinaire, and the one unpredictable force that could shake the entire ninja world—was just getting started.
