Naruto : I Aspire To Become Hokage Man

Night had fallen, and two dark figures moved stealthily through the woods. It was Naruto and Sasuke.

Sasuke glanced at Naruto, who was acting mysteriously.

"Why do I feel like this is a scam?" Sasuke muttered, recalling all the times Naruto had tricked him over the years. He looked at him suspiciously. "Would you really call me for something this good?"

"Sasuke! We're brothers!" Naruto said with a serious face. "Look, i live with the last member of the Uchiha clan—i will be your brother-in-law in the future. Do you think I'd lie to you?"

"Get lost!" Sasuke's face darkened.

At that moment, a small, dark house appeared in the middle of the woods.

"This is where the Scroll of Seals is kept?" Sasuke looked at Naruto, unimpressed. "You still insist this isn't a lie? What kind of village would leave such an important and classified item just lying around here?"

"Uh…" Naruto was also speechless. At the very least, someone could have been stationed here to keep up appearances. Even an idiot could tell this was fake.

"Don't worry, I have inside support!" Naruto reassured him.

Sasuke shot him a skeptical look but followed him inside anyway.

Inside the cabin, there was a small wooden table. A purple cushion was placed on it, and sitting atop was a large scroll. On the wall behind the table, a wooden plaque read:

"Scroll of Seals."

…What the actual hell?

Naruto almost slapped himself in the face.

"What's wrong with you?" Sasuke looked at him strangely.

"Nothing, just a mosquito," Naruto muttered, waving his hand. "Let's grab it and leave. We'll check the rest somewhere else."

As the two of them took the scroll and walked away, Anbu appeared before the Third Hokage in his office.

"Lord Hokage, the plan is proceeding smoothly. However, Uchiha Sasuke is with Naruto."

Hiruzen took a deep puff of his pipe before responding, "It's fine. Continue as planned."

"Yes, sir!" The Anbu agent vanished.

Just then, Iruka entered the office. The Third Hokage looked at him and said, "Iruka, I'll leave Naruto to you. Make sure he graduates. Mizuki will assist you."

"Yes, Lord Hokage!" Iruka nodded before leaving, heading straight for Naruto and Sasuke's location using the Third Hokage's Telescope Technique.

Meanwhile, Sasuke and Naruto sat on the ground, looking at the opened Scroll of Seals, their heads close together.

"This is the so-called secret scroll that will make us stronger? The one that supposedly contains all of Konoha's B-rank and higher ninjutsu?" Sasuke's voice was filled with disbelief as he turned to Naruto.

"Uh…" Naruto internally cursed. What the hell?! They only put Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu in here?! They could have at least thrown in a few filler jutsu! Of course, the old Naruto from before would've been fooled… but not him!

"Well…" Naruto scratched his head. "Isn't the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu still an S-rank technique? It's better than nothing, right?"

Sasuke gave him a deadpan look. "You don't even know this technique, do you?"

"…No," Naruto admitted.

At that moment, Iruka's voice roared from behind them.

"HEY! NARUTO!"

Naruto turned around and grinned. "Oh! Hey, Iruka-sensei!" He then nudged Sasuke. "Hey, Sasuke, say hi!"

Sasuke casually waved. "Yo~ Sensei."

Iruka froze for a second. Why is Sasuke here?! This wasn't in the script!

"Uh… Yo…" Iruka awkwardly greeted back. Wait, no! I'm here to stop them!

"You two! Do you have any idea how serious this is?! Do you know what you've done?!"

Before he could continue, several kunai flew toward him from behind.

Iruka's eyes widened as he instinctively shoved Naruto and Sasuke aside. The kunai struck the wooden cabin behind him, pinning him down.

"Who's there?!" Iruka growled.

A chuckle came from the trees.

"I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly, Iruka!"

Mizuki stood atop a tree branch, two large Fuuma Shuriken strapped to his back.

"Mizuki! Have you forgotten Lord Hokage's orders?!" Iruka snapped.

"Hmph… Hahaha…"

Mizuki began laughing maniacally.

"The Hokage? Hah! I put my trust in Lord Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin! Do you think that old fool Hiruzen would give away the Scroll of Seals for a brat like Naruto? No! But Lord Orochimaru… oh, he will definitely reward me for bringing this to him!"

Mizuki grinned wickedly.

"Hand over the scroll, Naruto! Maybe then I'll consider letting you live!"

"Damn you, Mizuki!" Iruka shouted.

But before he could say anything else, Naruto casually tossed the Scroll of Seals toward Mizuki.

"You wanted it? You should've just said so earlier," Naruto said. "How was I supposed to know if you didn't tell me?"

Mizuki was stunned for a moment.

Then he smirked. "I knew it! You know you can't escape from me, so you're surrendering! Smart kid—wait… huh?"

He looked down.

…The scroll was in his hands.

"Wait… You actually gave it to me?" Mizuki was confused.

"Yeah." Naruto shrugged innocently. "I can't beat you, so why would I hold onto it?"

Mizuki let out a triumphant laugh.

"Hmph, at least you know when to give up! I'll let you live today!"

Then, his gaze landed on Sasuke, who was casually watching the scene unfold.

"Wait a minute… an Uchiha? Hahaha! Looks like I can bring an extra gift to Lord Orochimaru!"

Mizuki leaped down from the tree and charged at Sasuke.

Iruka's face went pale.

"Run, Sasuke!" he shouted.

Before Mizuki could reach him, Sasuke calmly pulled one hand out of his pocket.

SLAP!

Mizuki was sent flying. His body crashed into the dirt, face-first.

Naruto squatted beside Mizuki's unconscious form and shook his head in disappointment.

"Tsk tsk… What an idiot. He had a perfect opportunity to run, but instead, he decided to mess with Sasuke?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Where the hell did this moron even come from?"

Naruto shrugged. "This is the dumbass I was telling you about earlier."

Iruka: "…"

And thus, Mizuki's brilliant plan ended in absolute failure.
