"Who!" The two cannon fodders, Kusa Ninja 2 and Kusa Ninja 3, were shocked. They turned around to see Naruto squatting on a tree branch, grinning down at them.

"So it's you, brat. There's a way to heaven, and you don't take it. No way to hell, and here you are! Hahaha!" Kusa Ninja 2 laughed, then signaled Kusa Ninja 3 to rush toward Naruto.

Five seconds later, Naruto casually flipped the Earth Scroll in his hand and sped off toward Sasuke and Sakura.

Meanwhile, Kusa Ninja 1 was still being pummeled by Sasuke. Once he realized he was no longer a threat, he staggered off, covered in wounds, only to be trampled underfoot by Naruto, who had just returned.

"Yo!" Naruto greeted with a mischievous grin.

"You're such an idiot! Took you forever to come back!" Sakura yelled angrily, throwing her hands in the air.

"Hey, I just picked up a scroll," Naruto said with a wink, as though he were the most innocent person in the world.

Sasuke merely rolled his eyes and jumped off his perch in the tree, ignoring the injured Kusa Ninja 1.

"To avoid anyone using the Transformation Jutsu to sneak attack us, let's come up with a secret signal," Sasuke said to both Naruto and Sakura.

"Well, that's a good idea," Naruto replied with a serious expression. "I think our password should be: 'Balabala Little Demon Fairy, Shakaraka, Ollie!'"

Sasuke and Sakura both stared at him in silence.

"No way I'm using that nonsense," Sasuke muttered, annoyed. "When we ask for a ninja, just respond with 'blah blah blah.'"

"Okay," Sakura nodded, looking somewhat confused.

Naruto, trying not to laugh, shook his head. "No problem!"

Sasuke gave him a deadpan look before Naruto tossed the Earth Scroll to Sakura.

"Here, the scrolls are sorted. Now, I'm off to play!" Naruto announced before vanishing with a whoosh.

"Seriously, you tease!" Sakura yelled, but he was already gone.

Sasuke gave her a sidelong glance. "Why are you so worried about him? He won't come back once he leaves."

"Yeah, but what if he gets in trouble?" Sakura fretted.

Sasuke sighed. "Don't worry, he's an idiot, but he can handle himself."

They proceeded forward toward the central tower. As they moved, the ground suddenly trembled, and a gust of wind blew towards them from the bushes. The wind turned into a massive storm, clearing the area with a powerful blast.

Suddenly, three figures fell from above: Orochimaru, with his unmistakable tongue flicking out as he landed gracefully on the ground.

"Go and play over there for now. Leave this to me," Orochimaru said with a strange grin.

As the smoke cleared, Sasuke heard a voice behind him. Looking back, it was Sakura, who stood tense, her kunai ready.

"Stop! Ninja Ninja!" she called.

"Balabala little...!" Sakura faltered, then blurted, "Balabala little!"

Naruto appeared from behind them, but Sasuke didn't wait. Without a second thought, he threw kunai and leapt into action.

"Huh?" Orochimaru raised an eyebrow. "That's the wrong code."

"Sasuke, you..." Sakura started to speak, but was interrupted by Sasuke.

"Think about it, Sakura. Do you really think Naruto would come back after running off to play?"

"Uh..." Sakura hesitated, then reluctantly pulled out her own kunai to defend herself.

"I see," Orochimaru murmured, his tongue snaking out as he released a Transformation Jutsu, turning into the female ninja who had given Anko her kunai earlier. It was the familiar form of Orochimaru in disguise.

"Since you know he won't come back, why did you give the code?" Orochimaru sneered, revealing his true self.

Sasuke, with a smirk, glanced at him. "Because Naruto won't come back, but Sakura's still here."

Orochimaru licked his lips in amusement. "I see, you're still sharp, Uchiha Sasuke."

Sakura gagged inwardly, clearly repulsed by Orochimaru's behavior.

"You want the Earth Scroll?" Orochimaru offered, pulling it out from beneath his cloak. "You know you're holding the Heaven Scroll already."

Sasuke and Sakura exchanged a look.

"No need," Sasuke replied flatly. "Keep it."

"What?" Orochimaru's eyes widened, and he swiftly stuffed the Earth Scroll back into his mouth, but as he did, he choked on it and spat it out.

"Cough cough!" Orochimaru coughed violently.

"Then we'll just take the Heaven Scroll!" Orochimaru growled, his eyes gleaming with irritation.

He raised his hand in a threatening gesture, but before he could strike, a chilling aura enveloped Sasuke and Sakura. Sakura collapsed instantly, fainting from the pressure.

Sasuke was unfazed, standing his ground as Orochimaru's murderous aura weighed heavily on him.

"What's with the staring? Why are you staring at me like that?" Sasuke growled.

Orochimaru cocked his head, his tongue flicking out in amusement. "What? You're not scared?"

Sasuke, practicing Kamesen-style martial arts, had learned how to remain calm in the face of pressure like this. Orochimaru's aura was nothing compared to the intense mental training Sasuke had endured.

"You're disgusting," Sasuke muttered under his breath.

Orochimaru didn't answer; instead, he lunged at Sasuke, kunai in hand.

Sasuke's Sharingan activated instantly. "So fast!" he thought. He barely managed to block Orochimaru's strike with his own kunai. The two clashed in mid-air, the sound of metal scraping against metal echoing in the tense silence.

"Fire Style! Great Fireball Technique!" Sasuke called out, sending a massive fireball hurtling toward Orochimaru.

"Earth Style! Earth Flow Wall!" Orochimaru quickly responded, slamming his hands into the ground and creating a towering earthen wall. The fireball slammed into the wall, the force of the explosion causing the ground to tremble.

From the side, a series of shurikens launched at Orochimaru from Sasuke's trap. "Function Shuriken Technique!" The shurikens flew with deadly precision, their attached wires wrapping around Orochimaru and binding him to the tree.

"Fire Style! Phoenix Fire Technique!" Sasuke formed the seals in a flash, unleashing a barrage of small fireballs that blasted into Orochimaru's chest, causing him to reel back from the impact.

Meanwhile, Anko and her team discovered the bodies of three Kusanagi ninjas.

"No mistake! It's that guy!" Anko said, sensing something familiar.
