It is not easy to kill Uchiha Madara, but destroying a small country or village is a much simpler task.

Any one of the five major ninja villages could easily dominate a small region if dispatched.

With the notifications sent out from the five major ninja villages and the invitations issued, Uchiha Madara's conspiracy spread through the ninja world like wildfire, leaving everyone stunned.

If this news hadn't come directly from the combined efforts of the five major ninja villages, it might have been dismissed as a hoax. Few would have believed such claims. But with all the major villages acting together, who could doubt it?

Among the five major ninja villages, only the Third Kazekage of the Sand Village, the Third Raikage of the Cloud Village, and Yagura of the Mist Village personally attended. Onoki of the Stone Village and Tsunade of Konoha chose not to participate directly, sending representatives instead.

It was unsurprising that Onoki abstained, as the Land of Earth would inevitably become a battlefield. Onoki had too many responsibilities to manage. Similarly, Konoha's Land of Fire would avoid becoming a warzone, but Konoha, as the leader of the five major ninja villages, had extensive preparations to handle.

Besides, Tsunade was known for her aversion to unnecessary meetings, so the Third Hokage represented Konoha instead. No one raised any objections to this decision.

With the five major ninja villages leading the charge, they rapidly mobilized their elite ninjas to form a unified ninja coalition. Simultaneously, war supplies were transported to the joint coalition camps established by the Stone Village and Konoha in the Land of Earth.

Smaller countries and villages also contributed by delivering stored materials to the nearest large ninja villages, who then relayed them to the frontlines. The entire ninja world was bustling with activity.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Madara and Black Zetsu were preparing on their end. Black Zetsu worked overtime to create more White Zetsu, while Madara idly pondered the mysteries of the Tenseigan.

The Tenseigan was an enigma, even to Madara.

Not only to him but also to Black Zetsu. During the time when the Six Paths Sage and his brother Hamura fought against their mother, Kaguya Otsutsuki, the concept of the Tenseigan didn't exist. The Six Paths Sage wielded the Rinnegan, and Hamura possessed the purest form of the Byakugan. However, the Tenseigan as it is known today only appeared after Hamura passed away and his descendants settled on the moon.

Because of this, even Black Zetsu had limited knowledge of the Tenseigan's origins. He could only theorize that it was somehow connected to Hamura.

Realizing this possibility, Black Zetsu couldn't help but curse inwardly.

You brothers are too much!

One of you wields the Rinnegan, and the other possesses the Tenseigan. Together, you overpowered your own mother with mutations that grow more outrageous with each generation!

But there was no point in lamenting the past. Black Zetsu's only option was to continue aiding Madara in his efforts. He hoped that Madara could defeat the five major ninja villages, kill Shinki, capture the tailed beasts, and initiate the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan.

Once Uchiha Madara became the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki and activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, it would pave the way for Black Zetsu's ultimate goal: the resurrection of his mother, Kaguya Otsutsuki.

"Black Zetsu, how long will it take?"

The base was filled with White Zetsu clones, though their strength seemed unimpressive—far below Madara's expectations.

"Lord Madara, all White Zetsu can be activated before the war begins, but their collective strength is lower than that of individually crafted clones," Black Zetsu explained dutifully, maintaining his role as Madara's loyal servant.

"It doesn't matter."

Madara dismissed the issue, unfazed by the clones' strength. To him, their power was irrelevant.

The reason behind their weakened state was tied to the consumption of Senju Hashirama's cells. Fortunately, these cells possessed an almost cancerous regenerative quality, allowing the creation of White Zetsu to continue indefinitely. Without this trait, even the vast number of White Zetsu stored in the Gedo Mazo could not have been activated.

"The sight of tens of thousands of White Zetsu swarming the battlefield will be spectacular," Madara remarked, almost amused. "It will certainly shock the five major ninja villages."

Black Zetsu felt a pang of frustration.

You're only thinking about the spectacle? Not how effective these clones will be in battle? Not how many enemies they can defeat? This is what excites you?

Even so, Black Zetsu swallowed his irritation. Madara, after all, was just a tool—an essential one for reviving his mother.

The ninja world's coordinated actions didn't escape Madara's notice. White Zetsu infiltrated Konoha but was swiftly caught by Shinki. Elsewhere, however, the clones had more success in gathering intelligence. Madara remained well-informed of the alliance's plans.

"Madara, the Ninja World Alliance was able to organize so quickly because of the daimyos' support. Should we target them?" Black Zetsu suggested.

While targeting daimyos was typically forbidden, Black Zetsu had no qualms about breaking such unspoken rules if it furthered his goals.

Madara turned his gaze lazily toward Black Zetsu.

"Do you think assassinating the daimyos will dismantle the alliance?" he asked.

Black Zetsu fell silent.
