Naruto: Wood-Wood Fruit

A pitch-black night.

After returning from the Forest of Death, Kiyoshi, Kurenai, and Anko shared a hearty dinner prepared by Keiko and Karin. 

Kiyoshi took the time to help Anko train in the art of Peacock Technique at Kurenai's home. 

But after training, Anko seemed reluctant to leave, hinting at staying the night, much to Kurenai's irritation. 

The boldness of Anko's suggestion left Kurenai both embarrassed and annoyed, her teeth gritting in frustration. 

Despite Kurenai's clear annoyance, Anko, who had grown quite attached to Kiyoshi, showed no signs of backing down.

"Sss... sss…"

The two women locked eyes, tension sparking between them in the air.

Noticing the tension, Kiyoshi sighed, his hand to his forehead. "You two enjoy your talk. I have something to take care of."

Without waiting for a response, he activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and disappeared from Kurenai's house, leaving the two women staring at each other, both turning their heads with a disgruntled "hmph."

At the Root Base.

In the depths of an expansive underground facility, Kiyoshi appeared suddenly.

He had earlier given a Flying Thunder God-marked kunai to Aburame Tatsuma, who had discreetly brought it to the Root Base.

"Lord Kiyoshi—"

Several figures were already kneeling, waiting for him. 

Among them was the leader of Root, Danzo Shimura, as well as his right-hand man, Aburame Tatsuma. There were also Danzo's close allies and guards, Fu Yamanaka and Torune Aburame. 

Over the past two years, Kiyoshi had managed to use Kotoamatsukami on all of them, gradually seizing control of Root. The organization was now firmly under his command.

"Hm." Kiyoshi's gaze was indifferent as he asked, "Is everything prepared?"

Danzo nodded. "We've prepared everything as you instructed."

Tatsuma added, "We've been growing clones using White Zetsu's cells. 

Although these clones have limited lifespans and don't possess the full capabilities of the real White Zetsu, they make excellent disposable 'sacrifices.'"

Two years ago, during his journey across the ninja world, Kiyoshi had secretly captured a White Zetsu clone and sealed it away in the Root Base. 

Danzo had since cloned its cells, creating numerous specimens to use as sacrifices for the Edo Tensei.

This was a strategic choice for Kiyoshi, as using White Zetsu clones with the First Hokage's cells made ideal sacrifices. 

It ensured the revived individuals would retain strength similar to their prime while increasing control over them.

Even though Kotoamatsukami was powerful, it still had its limits. For Kiyoshi, who now wielded perfect Yang Release, each use of Kotoamatsukami required a two-month cooldown. 

A widespread summoning of powerful deceased ninjas would exhaust the technique's effectiveness. 

Only if he could acquire the left eye of Shisui, currently held by Itachi, would he be able to further reduce the cooldown period.

"Let's start with the first summon." Kiyoshi said.

He retrieved a scroll given to him by Tatsuma, which contained DNA samples collected by the Root organization from several powerful shinobi.

"Fu, go prepare the body," Danzo signaled.

Fu Yamanaka complied, soon returning with a white figure—the half-conscious clone. Lacking self-awareness, the clone didn't struggle as it was brought to the site.

"Lord Kiyoshi, who do you wish to summon first?" Danzo asked.

"The Second Tsuchikage, Mu. There are a few techniques of his I want to learn," Kiyoshi responded without hesitation.

He had already planned this carefully. 

Both the Dust Release, a technique surpassing even Kekkei Genkai, and the Earth Release techniques for manipulating weight, developed in Iwagakure, were valuable tools he intended to acquire.

"That legendary Kekkei Tota... Dust Release?" Danzo, Tatsuma, and the others were visibly astonished.

Indeed, the Dust Release, created by the Second Tsuchikage and perfected by his student, the Third Tsuchikage Onoki, was an impressive ability that had made a mark across the ninja world. 

For most, mastering such a technique would be impossible. But for Kiyoshi, acquiring it was entirely feasible.

Shortly afterward—

The intricate summoning formation was completed, with the Second Tsuchikage's DNA placed in the center and the White Zetsu clone positioned as the sacrifice.

Kiyoshi's gaze sharpened as he swiftly formed hand seals. Pressing his palm to the ground, he chanted, "Summoning Jutsu: Edo Tensei."

Boom!

A thick layer of dust rose as the White Zetsu clone was enveloped, transforming into the form of the Second Tsuchikage, Mu.

His body was marred with faint cracks, a decayed aura of death surrounding him.

"What... is this?" Mu opened his eyes, glancing down at his hands before looking around the room.

His gaze settled on Kiyoshi, Danzo, and Tatsuma, his eyes contracting in realization.

Kotoamatsukami.

Kiyoshi's eyes flashed crimson, his right eye's intricate pattern rotating sharply. Within moments, he had Mu completely under his control.

"My lord!" Mu knelt on one knee, obedient.

"Now, teach me the Dust Release, along with all of Iwagakure's Earth Release weight manipulation techniques," Kiyoshi commanded.

He didn't waste any time. The Dust Release was indeed a remarkable technique, a testament to the genius of the Second Tsuchikage. 

As someone who had mastered Sage Mode, Kiyoshi was certain he could further enhance the Dust Release with sage chakra, transforming it into Sage Art: Dust Release, and amplifying its destructive power.

However, what intrigued him most was not just the technique's power. 

The existence of Dust Release as a Kekkei Tota offered insight into creating other advanced chakra transformations. 

Perhaps, by studying this, he could develop a new Kekkei Tota, or even take it further. 

By fusing all seven chakra natures—Wind, Lightning, Water, Fire, Earth, Yin, and Yang—he could potentially achieve Kekkei Mora.
