"Boom!"

Without warning.

In the vast underground training field.

The space around them suddenly twisted and trembled.

Danzo, the Second Tsuchikage, and others turned pale with shock.

It felt as though they were sinking into an inescapable swamp, their bodies nearly torn apart by the force.

Without hesitation, they retreated swiftly.

"Boom! Boom!"

The expansive training ground collapsed in an instant.

Chunks of debris scattered in every direction, and dust rose thickly.

After a while—

Danzo, the Second Tsuchikage, Tatsuma, and the others widened their eyes.

In the middle of the rubble stood a flawless green figure.

It was Kiyoshi, completely unharmed and still in Sage Mode.

"Good thing I controlled the technique's power. Otherwise, the entire Root base might've been destroyed."

Looking at the ruins below, Kiyoshi's gaze flickered. "The clash of two Sage-level Dust Releases created such terrifying energy that it even distorted space?"

He hadn't quite expected this outcome.

In the Netherworld Space he opened through the eye technique Onamuchi, using Sage Mode, he and his wood clone launched Dust Releases simultaneously. 

The impact was shockingly powerful.

While it didn't break through the spatial barrier—

It had undeniably twisted space.

The ruined training ground was proof of that.

"Such overwhelming power... it's easy to get lost in it," Kiyoshi couldn't help but marvel, recalling the unmatched collision of energy just now.

The exhilaration of wielding that strength was intoxicating.

So much so, he nearly wanted to immerse himself in it.

"Whoosh... Whoosh..."

Several members of Root, alerted by the commotion, rushed over.

Danzo frowned and ordered curtly, "This doesn't concern you. Withdraw!"

"Yes, sir—"

"You're staying within the Root for the time being, serving as one of us. Work with Danzo and them to improve Nue's flaws and develop some forbidden techniques."

Kiyoshi ignored the Root members and spoke directly to the Second Tsuchikage. "If I need you, I'll summon you."

The Second Tsuchikage possessed significant talent in developing jutsu and forbidden techniques.

While not quite on par with the Second Hokage, he wasn't far off.

Being able to create the Kekkei Tota Dust Release spoke volumes about his abilities.

Someone of his caliber was more valuable than just as a fighter.

His skills could greatly aid Danzo's Root organization in developing forbidden techniques.

Root was using Hashirama's cells to create "Nue," originally intended as a sacrificial creature for self-destructing in battle.

Kiyoshi had kept a close eye on it for a while.

However, it was still incomplete and had several major flaws.

Otherwise, it would indeed be an interesting summon.

"Yes," the Second Tsuchikage nodded in acknowledgment.

Danzo's face broke into a grin upon hearing Kiyoshi's arrangement. 

"Perfect timing. The plan has reached a critical stage. Having someone like the Second Tsuchikage on board is the best possible outcome."

"Oh, by the way."

Kiyoshi shrugged. "Have the Root's other space-time techniques and research materials prepared and sent to me."

To him, Nue was just an optional summon.

But its unique power couldn't be denied.

If he recalled correctly—

Danzo's Root had conducted some research into Kaguya Otsutsuki's space-time abilities, achieving some results.

They could seal Nue into a different dimension, allowing it to exist as a mark.

Nue could even freely move in and out of that alternate dimension.

However, as it was now only a prototype, it held little interest for Kiyoshi.

Still, he needed the related space-time research to explore creating his own unique space-time ninjutsu, potentially based on the Second Hokage's Flying Thunder God technique.

Currently, Flying Thunder God required marked kunai for spatial movement, which could be limiting in combat.

Kiyoshi wanted to develop a technique that didn't require pre-marked kunai or any preparatory items, allowing for instantaneous movement at will.

Only then would it be a true, advanced, perfected Shunshin.

"Lord Danzo."

At that moment—

Several bloodied and battered members of Root rushed in.

One of them carried a slender, child-like corpse, which appeared to be that of a girl.

This caught Kiyoshi's attention.

He raised an eyebrow and asked, "What's this?"

"Not long ago, we tracked down Raiga Kurosuki, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist and a rogue ninja."

The lead Root member reported gravely, "We intended to eliminate him, extract intelligence on Kirigakure from his brain, and retrieve the Thunder Swords: Kiba. 

But we ran into resistance and lost several elite members."

"However, we did succeed in heavily injuring him. He fell from a cliff, but his body was never found, it's likely someone rescued him."

"This child, who resembles a girl, is one of Raiga's allies. He possessed a rare Kekkei Genkai, similar to the Byakugan, capable of seeing through all obstacles and creating chakra illusions to confuse others' perceptions."

"Because of his ability, we suffered more losses than expected."

"But unfortunately, he was too weak and was fatally injured during the battle."

Upon hearing the Root member's report—

Not only did Kiyoshi's gaze sharpen—

But Tatsuma and others were also somewhat astonished.

"A boy? Thought he was a girl."

"But he actually had better insight than the Byakugan?"

"Incredible."

They looked at the boy's body with curiosity.

"If I'm not mistaken, he must've possessed the Red Eyes, which vanished from history long ago," the Second Tsuchikage muttered after a moment's thought, addressing Kiyoshi. 

"In the Warring States period, they were known as the Byakugan's natural enemy."

"I've heard of them," Danzo said, stroking his chin. "Supposedly, the Hyuga clan teamed up with other clans to wipe them out long ago."

"That explains it," Kiyoshi nodded in realization.

Looking at the boy's body, an idea sparked in his mind.

He smiled faintly. "Red Eyes, huh?"

"Perfect, then hand the body over to me."
