On a distant, steep mountaintop, Rinjin stood with his massive sword strapped to his back. From his pocket, he pulled out an hourglass and studied its markings.

"Ten minutes, huh..."

Although it was almost certain that the Two-Tails was sealed within the Thunderclap Temple, Rinjin still made it a point to check the remaining four restricted areas.

Among these four locations, aside from the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki residing in the Valley of Clouds and Lightning, which was guarded by ninjas, the other three were completely unguarded.

Taking to the skies once more, Rinjin gazed at the roaring thunder around him before turning his eyes toward Kumogakure.

From above, Amegakure appeared to be situated in the central region, with the Thunderclap Temple to the south and the Valley of Clouds and Lightning to the north.

This view confirmed it—Rinjin was now almost certain that the Two-Tails was indeed detained in the Thunderclap Temple!

However, before dealing with that, he still needed to infiltrate Kumogakure itself.

Thinking about the series of tasks that lay ahead, Rinjin felt a dull ache in his head.

The difference between being a ninja and an undercover agent was like night and day, even though both involved dirty work and intelligence gathering.

Ninjas only needed to infiltrate, steal, sabotage, and escape—a series of tasks Rinjin found relatively simple.

After all, these missions didn't require much interaction with people, making them straightforward to execute.

Undercover agents, on the other hand, had to do more than infiltrate—they had to integrate. The more interactions they had, the greater the risk of exposing themselves.

Most ninja missions were hit-and-run operations—quick, efficient, and adrenaline-pumping.

Undercover agents, however, had to endure prolonged periods of infiltration, performing thankless and grueling tasks, often without any guarantee of escape.

Of course, if you had the power of someone like Hashirama Senju or Madara Uchiha, it wouldn't be called infiltration—it would be called conquest.

Thinking of this, Rinjin couldn't help but feel that he should start transitioning toward their level. He wanted his enemies to kneel before him, singing songs of submission.

...

The nights in Kumogakure were quiet, apart from the occasional rumble of thunder in the sky.

Draped in a black cloak with a hood, Rinjin moved slowly at the foot of the mountains.

Kumogakure was a peculiar village. Its important buildings were all perched atop mountain peaks, while the commercial and residential districts were located at the base.

This unique layout posed a challenge for Rinjin's infiltration.

Initially, he had planned to use his *Slippery Phantom Jutsu* to sneak in. However, remembering how he had been detected by a sensory ninja outside the Thunderclap Temple earlier that evening, he now doubted the reliability of the technique.

Mizuguma-sensei had been right—this technique worked wonders when there were no sensory ninjas around. But the moment the enemy had a wide-range sensor, it was practically useless.

Thinking of this, Rinjin rolled his eyes in frustration.

This technique would be better saved for peeping into women's bathhouses. Using it now was just plain risky—it was, as he put it, "trash tier."

What about the good old "high-altitude projectile" tactic?

Would doing that too often make him seem like a jerk? After all, the people below weren't a bunch of dancing grannies!

Forget it. The mission takes priority!

With his plan decided, Rinjin mounted his giant sword and flew close to the sheer mountain walls, inching his way toward the village.

As soon as Rinjin crossed Kumogakure's border, the village lit up with countless flashes of electricity. Beams of lightning shot out, heading straight for him.

At the same time, piercing alarms shattered the silence of the night.

Oh crap—so Kumogakure has an anti-air barrier, just like Konoha!

Without a moment to lose, Rinjin resorted to Jiraiya's signature move: *Brick Barrage No Jutsu!*

In an instant, a dense swarm of bricks rained down on Kumogakure. Each brick, large or small, bore the same inscription: "Go wherever you want!"

Simultaneously, Rinjin formed a hand seal. Activating *Flying Raijin Jutsu*, his figure vanished.

The bricks hit the ground with a cacophony of crashes, stirring up chaos in nearly half the village. Shouts and curses filled the air.

When Rinjin reappeared, he was already inside the village, standing in a dark alleyway.

"Sorry... sorry... didn't mean to disturb your sleep. My bad," he muttered softly, tiptoeing as he picked up a brick at his feet and peeked out of the alley.

Through his sensory ability, he noticed that his *Flying Raijin*-marked bricks were being gathered in one location. Kumogakure's response time was impressive.

However, having never encountered the *Flying Raijin Jutsu* before, they didn't realize that as long as one marked object remained, the entire village was essentially Rinjin's playground.

Locking onto his target, Rinjin quickly made his way to his destination: Raimui's residence.

Using Konoha's intelligence reports, Rinjin located Raimui's house on the outskirts of Kumogakure.

"Click~" A soft sound echoed as Rinjin used *Magnet Release: Iron Man Technique* to unlock the apartment door.

The apartment was small, barely thirty square meters, with just a bedroom and a bathroom.

At the moment, Raimui lay sound asleep in his bed.

Shrouded in the gray mist of his *Slippery Phantom Jutsu*, Rinjin crept silently to Raimui's bedside.

This guy wasn't bad-looking, but the arrogance etched into his brow gave him an unapproachable air.

Standing by the bed, Rinjin carefully noted Raimui's facial features and body shape.

Then, the skin on Rinjin's face began to squirm. Beneath the surface, countless grains of iron sand gathered.

The grains pierced cells, tore through blood vessels, and ripped apart muscles and connective tissues. While causing damage to their host, they also rearranged themselves as Rinjin commanded.

Before long, an identical copy of Raimui's face appeared on Rinjin. The only difference was that it looked a bit stiff.

Rinjin gently pinched his cheeks, furrowed his brows, and practiced making various expressions.

After a while, the flesh healed, adapting to the iron sand mixed within. His face became lively and expressive.

With everything in place, Rinjin didn't linger. He left a concealed *Flying Raijin* mark on Raimui's door before exiting the village once more.

Everything was ready.

Now, all he needed was an opportunity—a public moment to make a dazzling entrance!

Standing atop a mountain peak, Rinjin looked down at Kumogakure, a cold smile forming on his lips.
