Naruto’s Strongest Twin - The Battle Hungry Saiyan (DBZ Dragon Ball)

Chapter 133: 132. The Storm’s Eye

Naruto and Ryusei walked through the ruined battlefield, their steps slow and heavy. Despite their victory over the Herald and the collapse of the rift, the air still felt thick with unease. Every step echoed in the vast silence, and the faint hum of residual Void energy buzzed in the distance, a reminder that their struggle was far from over.

Naruto glanced at Ryusei, who remained quiet, his expression unreadable. "So, what now? We got rid of one of their big guns, but this doesn't feel like much of a win."

Ryusei's eyes flicked to the horizon, where faint cracks of red lightning still glimmered in the distance. "We regroup with the others. There are still two more anchors, and the convergence won't give us much time to recover."

Naruto let out a low sigh, running a hand through his hair. "Man, I was hoping we'd get a little break. Feels like we've been fighting forever."

Ryusei offered a faint smile. "That's because we have. But if we don't finish this, there won't be anything left to fight for."

Naruto nodded, his expression growing serious. "Alright. Let's head back."

As they turned to leave, a faint rumble shook the ground beneath them. Both shinobi froze, their senses sharpening. The rumble grew louder, and the air around them seemed to vibrate with an unseen force.

"You feel that?" Naruto asked, his voice low.

Ryusei nodded, his hand instinctively going to his blade. "Something's coming."

The sky above them darkened, and a swirling vortex of energy began to form in the distance. Unlike the rift they had just destroyed, this one pulsed with an even greater intensity, its tendrils of energy stretching across the horizon like a vast, malevolent web.

Before they could react, a massive figure emerged from the vortex. It was unlike anything they had seen before—a towering, humanoid form wreathed in flames of pure Void energy. Its body was covered in jagged black armor, and its eyes burned with an intense crimson light. It carried a massive blade, the weapon's edge glowing with an ominous energy that seemed to cut through the very fabric of reality.

Naruto's eyes widened as he took a step back. "You've gotta be kidding me. That thing makes the Herald look like a chump."

Ryusei's grip on his blade tightened, his aura flaring to life. "It's not just stronger. It's different. I can feel it."

The creature let out a deafening roar, its voice shaking the ground and sending shockwaves rippling through the air. The force of its presence alone was enough to make the air difficult to breathe, and both shinobi could feel the oppressive weight of its power pressing down on them.

Naruto took a deep breath, steadying himself. "Alright, big guy. Let's see what you've got."

He surged forward, his Rasenshuriken forming in his hands as he closed the distance between himself and the creature. The glowing orb of energy crackled with Void-infused power, its edges spinning with a dangerous intensity. Naruto hurled the attack at the creature, the force of the throw leaving a deep gouge in the ground beneath him.

The creature raised its blade, deflecting the Rasenshuriken with a single, effortless swing. The attack exploded in midair, sending a shockwave rippling through the battlefield, but the creature remained unmoved.

"Okay," Naruto muttered, his cloak flaring as he prepared another attack. "That's new."

Ryusei moved to Naruto's side, his expression calm despite the tension in the air. "It's adapting to our energy. We'll have to hit it with something it hasn't seen before."

Naruto grinned, the familiar spark of determination returning to his eyes. "Then let's give it the Leaf Village special."

The two shinobi moved in perfect sync, their combined energy radiating with an unrelenting intensity. Ryusei struck first, his blade glowing with a mix of Time and Void energy as he slashed at the creature. Each strike sent ripples of energy through the air, but the creature's armor absorbed the blows, its surface barely scratched.

Naruto followed up with a flurry of Rasenshuriken, each one infused with chaotic Void energy. The attacks exploded around the creature, shrouding it in smoke and debris, but when the dust cleared, it remained standing, its crimson eyes locked onto them with an almost mocking glare.

"It's like hitting a mountain," Naruto muttered, frustration creeping into his voice.

Ryusei's eyes narrowed as he assessed the situation. "It's drawing power directly from the vortex. We need to sever its connection, or it'll keep regenerating."

Naruto nodded, his cloak flaring as he prepared another attack. "Got it. Cover me."

Ryusei surged forward, his blade flashing as he engaged the creature head-on. Each strike was calculated, aimed at forcing the creature to focus on him and leave an opening for Naruto. The creature swung its massive blade in wide arcs, each swing releasing waves of energy that carved deep trenches into the ground.

Despite its overwhelming power, Ryusei's movements were fluid and precise, his mastery of Time energy allowing him to evade the creature's strikes with ease. He darted around it, his attacks creating openings that Naruto quickly exploited.

Naruto leapt into the air, his Rasenshuriken glowing brighter than ever as he hurled it at the vortex. The attack struck the swirling energy, causing the vortex to pulse violently. Tendrils of energy lashed out, but Naruto dodged them with ease, his cloak providing an additional layer of protection.

The creature let out another roar, its movements growing more erratic as the vortex began to destabilize. Ryusei pressed the advantage, his blade carving through the creature's defenses with a relentless fury. Each strike sent sparks flying, and the once-impenetrable armor began to crack under the combined force of their attacks.

As the vortex above them flickered and pulsed, the creature staggered, its connection to the energy source weakening. Naruto landed beside Ryusei, a triumphant grin on his face.

"I think we've got it on the ropes!" he shouted, his Rasenshuriken forming in his hands once more.

Ryusei nodded, his blade glowing with renewed intensity. "Then let's finish this."

Together, they launched their final attack, their combined energy tearing through the creature and severing its connection to the vortex. The resulting explosion sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, and when the dust settled, the creature was gone, its massive blade lying shattered on the ground.

The vortex above them flickered one final time before collapsing in on itself, the swirling energy dissipating into the air. The battlefield was silent once more, save for the faint crackle of residual energy.

Naruto let out a breath of relief, his cloak fading as he turned to Ryusei. "That was intense."

Ryusei sheathed his blade, his expression calm but tired. "It's not over yet. There's still one more anchor."

Naruto's grin faded, replaced by a look of determination. "Then let's finish this. For good."
