Chapter 26: Attacking another Dungeon
The moment his eyes fell on the interface, he got a scare immediately from what he saw. The number of participants were already numbering thousands, while the one hundred team players were already taken. He didn't post the quest for more than ten minutes already, was what he offered was that enticing to players?
He suddenly started to realize that all his knowledge came from the chat between his previous game developers, and his interactions with players who came to ask him for help or requested his quest after his demise.
He never cared about players in general, and that made him assume, wrongly, the general desire of players.
'They want wealth, they want power, they want to easily level up and gain gears and gold coins to sell and gain real money,' that was what he thought of after focusing on analyzing the general players' behavior.
If so, then he could easily form a super power in this game. He silently started to contemplate while they were walking aimlessly. Dealing with players wasn't that hard for him, plus all the info he had in his mind, which could make him rule over a huge number of players.
However he didn't aspire to thrive in the game, he wanted to screw it! directing his efforts towards gathering players around him and establishing a mighty force wouldn't serve his purposes, instead it worked against them.
'Nah, I shouldn't think about doing it,' he finally decided, shook his head while glancing over the info given by players.
"Open map," he suddenly shouted out of the blue, startling his team who were walking, gossiping about his intentions to establish an intelligence agency inside the game.
Bloom started to compare the info provided to him by players, confirmed already by the system, and finally comparing their coordinates with his on the map. In less than a minute, he found a level five dungeon, not far from here.
"Let's go this way," he suddenly said, changing their direction, going towards the north, "there is a dungeon there," he added.
"How do you know that?" Gored asked, as he followed Bloom's direction without hesitation.
"I got the info from my newly established intelligence agency."
All the members of his team nodded their head in unison, as they now understood the benefits of this agency. If they were to look by themselves, they would have wasted a precious amount of time.
It wasn't only the issue of not leveling up, but they knew if they didn't act soon, more players would reclaim the remaining five spots, gaining the very generous rewards.
They all thought Bloom would need gold coins from these dungeons' rewards to pay for his growing agency, but they were mistaken. If it came to money, Bloom had many ways to solve this problem, especially he had one month in front of him till the due date.
The distance to that dungeon wasn't that far, as in less than five minutes, they reached the dungeon entrance. There were seven monsters standing there, which told them all about the amount of monsters inside, plus approximately the amount of XP needed.
"Listen up, we are lacking one member, but this won't affect us in this dungeon. However, to level up from here we would need a lot of XP, so we have to take down as many dungeons as we can. If you know any good player, please ask him to join us," Bloom suddenly said, while standing in front of them.
He didn't need that extra player now, but if he wanted to level up faster, then he might need to look for special dungeons.
Dungeons in the game had grades as everything else. The previous dungeon was like this one, the lowest grade in the game. The number of monsters standing in front of the entrance was the only way to determine the grade of any dungeon before entering it.
He had already issued a task inside his personal quest interface. The one thousand players were already selected by the system, and there were many others on hold, waiting for him to change the quota for his intelligence agency so they could join and gain easy money.
"Unfortunately all players we know are part of teams," Peri dejectedly said, as she knew this might pose a problem to their progress.
"No problem, I will solve it then," Bloom said before deciding to wait until they finish this dungeon and then he would do a recruitment post in the forum.
This wasn't a strange thing, as many posts there were asking for players to join their teams, or players seeking teams. As he was looking for complementary players, he would play it big, using the advantage he had regarding his intelligence agency. He could search for any special dungeon, where the top limit of players wasn't ten, but twenty.
"Do you know other players?" Gored asked, but Bloom shook his head while saying nothing. "Let's go, the same old tactic, me and Gored stay at the back, others spread out and use your skills as much as you wish," he instructed, as it was time to attack this dungeon.
The team followed his instructions, while he stood his place, waiting for the monsters to come his direction, with much impatience. He was so eager to test his high damage caused by his twin swords, as he started to formulate the strategy to attack in his mind.
Level five monsters didn't have good defenses, and their Hp couldn't be considered thick. He estimated that each monster would take a couple of hits from his swords before falling dead under his legs.
"Start!" Gored gave the order after everyone took his or her position. The front players moved at once, attacking the front monsters, causing moderate damage to them.

Numbers like these started to appear on top of monsters. He knew his team level was lower than the monster by one level, which would affect the total damage caused by them, however that was enough to lower these monsters' Hp to less than half in two minutes.
"Roar!"
The first monster to lose blood below his half roared, before it ignored everyone attacking it, and ran directly towards the rear players. Bloom and Gored were ready for them, as the latter used his two shields to deflect the incoming attacks, one monster at a time.
As for Bloom, he waited calmly until they all were in front of him, before using his innate draw sword talent, where he muttered:
"Stab."
"Stab."
"Stab."
