Levin Cloud went further down the cavern as he detected life forces at the bottom of it. The life forces were a mixture of strong, weak, and losing spark. He did not just feel the life forces but also the stench of death that is inside. This place was not something that is for the faint hearted and he is actually quite shocked that evil spirits have yet to form as this place is one curse away from creating an abomination.

He saw the first door that he must go through and immediately saw another living being there, but it was none other than a frost elf. This frost elf seems to be the guard that is keeping check of the door that leads further down. The frost elf guard saw Levin Cloud and charged towards him as he immediately knew who he was.

All of the frost elves saw Levin Cloud being carried to the Winter Tree as they felt the powerful natural energy present in his body. It is not just the Frost High Elves that have gained the taboo body as the frost elves were cursed with it as well. They also partook in devouring the life energy of the Frost Elemental King and the people of the northern continent that was blessed.

The Frost Elf tried to fight but the strength of the guard was nothing noteworthy. Even Levin Cloud's damage as a priest managed to easily kill him. Levin Cloud just used a death elemental spell called Debilitate to reduce all of the stats of the enemy by 30% and the guard died in one attack.

The Debilitate spell reduces a single target's stats by 30% as long as it hits. Levin Cloud barelyuses this spell as a lot of the enemies he faced are often immune to this kind of spell. This is the reason he was so surprised that it worked too well as the frost elf died with just a flick of his viny arm. He also noticed that his attacks now have the frost effect as an additional bonus which he quite liked.

"I guess he was already weak to begin with." Levin Cloud thought as he rushed to the door quickly as he could feel the presence of death becoming thicker the more, he went down.

Levin Cloud went down spiral stairs that looked like they were carved from the ground itself. He did not waste any time in walking downwards as he just directly jumped in the hollow middle section. He started to fall at a normal speed as he was using his own hair as a makeshift parachute. The leaves and vines puffed out to create a blanket that caught the updraft and lessened the speed of his descent.

Levin Cloud descended to a peculiar floor made of solid ice. He found this troublesome as the ice itself is not a problem for him, but it would be a problem to the beings that he will rescue. He now knows why there is only one guard that is stationed at the first door because there was no need for any additional. The entire cavern is designed as a death trap and a perfect prison for those that cannot overpower the strength of the ice magic released on this floor.

"I will just slip through for now. I need to save them first as the presence of death is becoming thicker and thicker." Levin Cloud muttered to himself as he activated his new ability.

One could see clearly that Levin Cloud's eyes and hair turned a different color as he passed through the thick ice floor. His eyes turned a pure blue color while his hair turned into a color that resembled snow. If one looked closely then they would have also noticed the aura he released as it created small snowflakes falling down around him.

Levin Cloud passed through the thick ice floor and dropped down a couple of meters until he could stand on solid ground. Unlike the ice floor earlier, this should be the deepest part of the cavern that he entered. At the deepest part of the cavern, one could see a rather small door that can only fit a normal sized human when passing through.

He looked at this door and the stench of death could be smelled by his own nose. This was no longer the supernatural sense he used but his own sense of smell that can detect it. He could even feel the grudges of those that died stuck on the walls as he could envision what the people here have experienced. The grudges of the dead are basically stuck on the walls of this passage, and it was calling out to the Envoy of the Twin Gods.

"Such cruelty. To think that the protectors of nature would become beings that did not care for life. I need to purify them or else their grudges will not only be directed at those that wronged them but t the world itself." Levin Cloud stated as he took out his pendulum.

"Yes. Someone needs to pray for the grudges that have been buried in this forsaken place." Levin Cloud stated as his body suddenly started to be covered in different robes.

Levin Cloud usually wore clothes that are like of a battle priest as this gives him more movement. He did wear robes, but these robes were more shaped to fit his body to ease movement even in battle. These battle priest robes were almost all function instead of form. The clothes in his Divine Priest Mode are a different matter.

[You have entered your Divine Priest Mode.]

[All sacred ceremonies carried out in this form will have 300% effectiveness.]

Levin Cloud's robes became more grandeur and fuller as they have become more form than function. All parts of his robes are now flowy as sleeves extended all the way to his hands. Levin Cloud's robes have a mixture of white, black, gray, and jade as main cloth colors. The perfect blend of these colors symbolized his connection to the Twin Gods.

Along with his robes are gold and silver embroidered garbs that screamed divinity. Each of the gold and silver garbs have a mixture of runes that represent life and death. The pendulum that is his weapon also changed to fit a more ceremonial look.

The pendulum now looks more ornate compared to before as it is embellished greatly in numerous gems and precious metals. The pendulum has the symbol of the Twin Gods as well as crystalline wings that are both made of life and death elements. If one looked closely then they would notice that the pendulum was floating in the air all by itself.

A gold chain could be seen connected to the wrist of Levin Cloud hidden inside the robe. Levin Cloud lifted his hand where the chain is connected, and the pendulum activated. In its inactive form, the pendulum looks like a curled-up version of the Tree of Life and Death. When it is activated, the tree becomes more pronounced as it opens up to create a small view of Paraiso where the actual Tree of Life and Death resides.'

"Propitiating Psalm." Levin Cloud stated as he opened his eyes to reveal two different energies swirling inside of them as both green and gray were alternating between them.

The pendulum vibrated as soon as Levin Cloud started the ceremony. The voice of the Envoy of the Twin Gods resonated within the walls of the cavern. A song so beautiful that anyone that hears it will cry as it deeply resonates to the souls of the ones that cannot be brought to peace. Levin Cloud pressed on as the song continued and did not even mind his surroundings that started to change.

The grudges attached to the walls of the passage suddenly took a liquified form of tar. Each verse that Levin Cloud sang made the walls bleed of this dark energy. It did not take long for these tar like substance to fuse together to create a monstrosity that is the accumulation of the grudges of those that died here and of those that were sentenced to be sacrificed out there.

"Let all of those that wandered be brought to peace." Levin Cloud stated as the condensed form of the grudges swallowed him whole.

Levin Cloud did not even stop what he was doing as he got swallowed up by the monstrosity that formed due to the grudges of the imprisoned. In fact, the prisoners themselves saw what happened to him as they were only a few meters away from his location. The prisoners heard the beautiful hymn and thought that a savior has come for them, but all hope was lost when their supposed savior got swallowed by a monster. The prisoners that had hope suddenly became hopeless once again.
