OMG I was Reborn in a Werewolf System after being tormented

Chapter 14: 14 Turning Point

The Turning Point

"You have to believe me!"

The words burst out of Nina's mouth, wild and desperate, as she clutched the edge of the teacher's desk. Her whole body shook, her skin pale, her eyes wide with terror.

Mrs. Holloway stared at her, startled. "Nina, calm down—"

"No! You don't understand!" Nina gasped, her breaths shallow. "It's her—Amelia! She's—she's doing something! She's not normal!"

The teacher frowned. "Amelia Carter? What are you talking about?"

Nina's hands clenched into fists. "She's—she's haunting us! She's in my head! I see her everywhere! I hear her whispers even when she isn't there!"

Mrs. Holloway exchanged a glance with Mr. Grant, who had been listening quietly from the side of the room. His expression was unreadable, but the flicker of concern was there.

"Nina," Mr. Grant said gently, "are you feeling okay? Have you been getting enough sleep?"

Nina let out a broken laugh. "Sleep? I don't even know what that is anymore!" Her fingers tangled in her hair. "Every time I close my eyes, I see her! She just—stands there. Watching. Smiling. And then she's gone, like she was never there! I can't— I can't breathe! I can't think!"

Mrs. Holloway sighed, her voice softer now. "Nina, have you spoken to the school counselor? Maybe—"

"I'M NOT CRAZY!" Nina screamed, slamming her hands on the desk. "You think I'm making this up?! I know what I see! I know what I hear!"

She turned wildly toward the window, her breath coming in fast, painful gasps. "She's doing something to us! One by one! She made Riley leave! Madison barely eats anymore! Claire—" Her voice broke. "Claire is next, I know it!"

Mrs. Holloway slowly stood. "Nina, I think you should sit down. Take a breath."

"No, no, no!" Nina shook her head violently. "You don't get it! She wants us to break! And she's winning!"

The words echoed in the silent room.

And then—

Laughter.

Soft. Gentle. Familiar.

Nina spun around, heart slamming against her ribs.

There, leaning against the doorway, was Amelia.

Smiling.

Eyes full of quiet amusement.

"Winning?" Amelia tilted her head. "Oh, Nina… I already won."

Nina stumbled backward, shaking her head. "No… no… no…"

Mrs. Holloway's gaze flickered between them. "Amelia? What's going on?"

Amelia blinked, her expression innocent. "I don't know. Nina just seems… upset."

Mr. Grant folded his arms. "Nina, maybe you should rest for a bit. I think you're stressed—"

"I'M NOT STRESSED!" Nina sobbed. "She's doing this! She's making me sound insane!"

Amelia sighed, shaking her head. "Nina, you're scaring everyone."

"No, no, no!" Nina grabbed Mrs. Holloway's hands. "Please, please believe me! She's evil! She's—"

"Nina."

The voice wasn't harsh. It wasn't angry.

But it was final.

Nina turned and saw Principal Reese standing in the doorway now, his expression stern.

"You need to calm down," he said firmly. "This isn't how we handle things."

Nina's lips trembled. "No one believes me."

Principal Reese exhaled. "Because you're not making sense."

Nina let out a shaky breath. The room spun around her. Everything felt heavy.

Her fingers twitched.

Her vision blurred.

And in the middle of it all—

Amelia.

Standing there.

Smiling.

"Perfect execution. Keep going."

The system's voice echoed in Amelia's head, quiet and pleased.

She turned away as Nina's body sank to the floor, sobs wracking her frame.

It was over.

And no one even knew it had begun.

"She's next."

---

"She's doing something to us!"

Nina's voice cracked as she slammed her hands on the teacher's desk. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, her eyes darting around the room like a trapped animal.

Mrs. Holloway frowned. "Who's doing what, Nina?"

Nina's breath hitched. "Amelia! It's her! She's—" Her voice caught in her throat, trembling. "She's everywhere!"

The classroom was silent. A few students turned their heads, whispering.

Mr. Grant, the guidance counselor, adjusted his glasses. "Nina, take a deep breath. What do you mean by 'everywhere'?"

Nina's hands clenched into fists. "I hear her voice when she's not there! I see her in the mirror, standing behind me! I wake up in the middle of the night, and I swear she's right outside my window!"

Mrs. Holloway and Mr. Grant exchanged looks.

"Amelia Carter?" Mrs. Holloway asked slowly.

"YES!" Nina shouted. "I know it sounds crazy, but she's doing something to us! First Riley ran away, then Madison started losing her mind, and now Claire—she's next, I know it! We're all next!"

Mr. Grant's voice was calm. "Nina, have you been sleeping well?"

Nina let out a wild, broken laugh. "Sleeping?!" She gripped the edges of the desk like she might collapse. "I can't sleep! Every time I close my eyes, I hear her whispering!"

A sharp laugh rang through the air.

Nina's breath froze in her throat.

Slowly, she turned.

Amelia stood in the doorway, tilting her head, lips curled into a soft smile.

"Oh, Nina… that's not very nice."

Nina stumbled back. "No, no, no—"

Mrs. Holloway frowned. "Amelia? What's going on?"

Amelia blinked, her expression innocent. "I was just walking past when I heard Nina yelling. Is something wrong?"

Nina pointed at her, hand shaking. "You're lying!" she screamed. "You're doing this! You—"

"Nina," Mr. Grant said gently, "maybe you should sit down."

"I don't need to sit down! I need you to listen!"

"You're scaring everyone," Amelia said softly.

Nina's chest rose and fell too fast, her vision blurring. "Stop it," she whispered.

Amelia's smile didn't fade. "Stop what?"

Nina clutched her head. "You—You're making me sound crazy!"

Mr. Grant sighed. "Nina, no one is saying you're crazy."

But he wasn't looking at her like he believed her.

None of them were.

Nina's hands trembled.

No one believed her.

No one.

And behind them, Amelia watched.

Smiling.

Silent.

Winning.

---

"Perfect execution. Keep going."
