One Piece: Conquest of Love and Power

"Big brother's gonna get a lot of treasures." While talking to James, Carina subtly patted Nami, hinting she should handle the loot and other such things.

"Treasures? I don't lack those. I am James, the God and Emperor of my Divine Kingdom. Gold ingots and countless jewels are scattered throughout my palace."

Divine Kingdom? God? Emperor?

Nami and Carina are speechless; the other person appears truthful.

His background is huge, right?

Both of them were having an internal monologue.

"Hold on, we've got some treasures we haven't collected yet…"

The two little money fans are still captivated by the treasures they found here.

"How much worth can it be? You girls still want it?" James wasn't serious about it.

"Brother James, we need your help to get the treasure out of here. That's the result of all our hard work of many weeks." Nami and Carina were both grabbing his arms and pulling.

Man, James thought, those two pretty girls were way too flirty. He played along for a bit, then nodded and agreed.

"Alright, alright, you're a couple of real scamps. Let's return to my Ark first; you can lead the way from there. "

The two women then smiled. The thought of asking them to throw away the money they had stolen was harder than killing them.

"hiss~ it hurts~"

A searing pain shot through Nami's foot as soon as she took a step, the sharp twinge a painful reminder of her sprained ankle.

Upon seeing her injured foot, James's brow furrowed with concern as he looked at it, noticing the swelling and discoloration.

Heat rose in Nami's cheeks, turning her pretty face a deep red under the intensity of his gaze.

A silent plea for help flickered in her eyes as she saw him, but she could only endure the unnerving way he stared at her ankles, a strange feeling crawling up her spine.

James nodded, gently lifted her feet, and massaged them, the warmth spreading through his hands. Then, he used a gentle electrical current to stimulate the skin, promoting blood flow and relieving any stagnation.

A slight numbness made Nami gently bite her lip, aware that James was attending to her.

"Okay, let's take a look!" James finally finished treatment.

With a sigh of relief, Nami shot a vicious glare at Carina's teasing expression before testing her legs with a couple of cautious steps, discovering that the pain was gone.

"So awesome! Wow, I didn't know Brother James still knew medical stuff!"

Nami's eyes were wide with wonder. She figured James was taking advantage of her under the guise of healing.

"It's easy, I'm a God, so of course I know things."

A blend of sweet orange and sunny sunflower, Nami's scent, lingered delicately at the tip of her nose, a fragrance James found captivating.

Seeing that the two were ready, he carefully scooped them up in both hands and carried them back to the Nimbus Explorer, its polished surface gleaming under the lights.

The three women on the ship, already astonished, watched as he brought back two more stunning girls; a wave of excited whispers and greetings broke out as they approached, eager to meet and welcome the new arrivals.

"So, you're Nojiko's sister. You are so beautiful. Makes sense James came to find you~" A small smile played on Robin's lips as she subtly praised Nami.

"How am I beautiful sister? You are much prettier than me…Wait!!! Nojiko? How do you know my sister's name!!"

Nami is slightly embarrassed by her words, but quickly recovers when the other person mentions Nojiko.

"Oh? Didn't James tell you what happened? What a funny guy!…" A look of surprise on her face, Robin glanced at James from the corner of her eye.

"Could it be that…?" With a murmur, Nami looked back at James, disbelief etched on her face.

"Yes, I killed the Fish-men in Cocoyasi Village, fulfilling our agreement ahead of schedule", James nodded, affirming the conjecture in her mind.

"Ahhh!?"

A gasp escaped Nami's lips as the sudden surprise sent a jolt through her. She took a minute to react, then whispered, all teary-eyed. "Bell-mère-san......…"

Tears welled up and she couldn't finish her sentence; she flung herself into Carina's arms.

"Nami… " Carina was also moved.

At that moment, James's eyes suddenly looked far away.

South-east of them, small land masses of different sizes tumbled from the sky and into the sea.

From that high altitude?

Is there an uninhabited island in the sky over the East Blue Sea?

James harbored some doubts about this being aimless. Multiple deserted islands existed in the Pirate World. He knew that there were at least four empty Sky islands.

The East Blue's pirate tales never mention Sky Island, but that doesn't prove one doesn't exist.

Empty Island…

Wait?? Could it be…..Golden Lion Shiki!

James remembered that after the Golden Lion found an island named Merveille (Hidden Land in the Clouds).

Many herbivores become aggressive after consuming plants containing "IQ" ingredients; meanwhile, Shiki and Dr. Indigo, his second-in-command, research "IQ" in the East Blue sky, plotting their revenge.
