One Piece: Getting Stronger by Writing a Diary

Chapter 197: Chapter 154 – Mihawk meets Shanks’ daughter

"Hey, hey, hey, no way."

"Is Zoro really going to die here?" Jango frowned deeply.

"Damn it, how could this happen? Is Zoro okay?"

"Luffy, we need to stop him right now," Usopp muttered nervously.

Luffy, however, remained silent, his brows furrowed as he stared ahead, but his fists were already clenched tightly.

Seeing that Luffy wasn't responding, Usopp turned to Arton, as if about to plead for his help.

"Don't worry, Usopp," Arton said with a mysterious smile.

"Zoro won't die."

"In fact, with Kaya here, even if Zoro were to suffer a fatal injury, he still wouldn't die."

"Kaya has become a truly remarkable doctor."

"Kaya has already become a great doctor?" Usopp blinked, then turned to look at Kaya.

At that moment, despite seeing Zoro injured, Kaya's expression remained calm and unafraid.

To Usopp, this was completely unimaginable compared to before.

"Kaya really has grown so much."

"I need to grow stronger too, and quickly," Usopp muttered to himself, his gaze firming with resolve.

Meanwhile, the duel between Mihawk and Zoro continued.

As Arton had predicted, Mihawk finally drew his most powerful weapon: the legendary black blade.

In an instant, Zoro unleashed his strongest slash, while Mihawk countered with what seemed like a simple, effortless swing.

The two crossed paths, and the sound of blades clashing echoed.

Zoro's two swords shattered simultaneously, and blood gushed from his chest.

Yet even so, Zoro turned around, fearlessly spreading his arms wide, leaving his chest completely unguarded and exposed to Mihawk.

Whitey Bay: "A scar on the back is a swordsman's shame? To say something like that—this Zoro is remarkable."

Charlotte Cinnamon: "To put his life on the line and let Dracule Mihawk leave a slash across his chest… This kind of man, if he doesn't die, will surely become a powerful swordsman in the future."

Tashigi: "To think there exists a swordsman with such an unyielding will. What a pity… he's a pirate."

Charlotte Smoothie: "No wonder Arton said this duel would lead Mihawk to take Zoro as his disciple in the future."

Doll: "With an experience like this, Mihawk will surely remember Zoro's name."

Gion: "In this world, how many people can make Mihawk say, 'Surpass me'? But for Mihawk to say those words and later take Zoro as his disciple—does this mean Mihawk plans to personally groom the next world's greatest swordsman?"

Kujaku: "No matter what, just as Arton said, this Zoro is someone the Navy should pay special attention to."

*

"Mihawk, you're impressed, right?"

"This Zoro really is exceptional," Arton said with a smile.

Mihawk's face showed a faint smile as he responded, "You're right. This Zoro is indeed remarkable. In the future, he could very well become an eagle soaring through the skies."

"Exactly. From what I know, this guy works incredibly hard," Arton replied with a chuckle and gave a nod toward Kaya, who understood immediately.

Kaya stepped forward to treat Zoro.

Thanks to Mihawk holding back, Zoro hadn't sustained fatal injuries. Even without Arton merging with Kaya, her current mastery of Tsunade's abilities allowed her to heal Zoro quickly.

As a faint green light glowed in Kaya's hands, the deep, bone-revealing wounds on Zoro's body began to close visibly.

"Huh? What… is this?"

Zoro, feeling the pain in his body ease, looked at Kaya in astonishment.

"This… this is amazing!"

"Usopp, your friend is incredible!" Luffy exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.

"Y-yeah," Usopp stammered, nodding blankly.

He knew Kaya had grown stronger, but he hadn't expected her to become this powerful—not only capable of creating shockwaves with a casual punch but also possessing the ability to heal wounds so quickly.

It wasn't just Usopp and the others who were shocked.

Even the experienced Mihawk was taken aback by Kaya's rapid healing ability.

"Incredible healing powers. It seems your pirate crew has quite a few talented individuals," Mihawk remarked.

"Is this some kind of Devil Fruit ability?" Mihawk asked curiously, glancing at Arton.

"There is indeed a Healing Fruit among the Devil Fruits that could achieve something like this," Arton replied with a mysterious smile.

"But Kaya from my crew isn't a Devil Fruit user."

"I see. It seems both you and your crewmates are full of mysteries," Mihawk remarked.

"I'm curious, though. That one over there—is she really Red-Haired Shanks' daughter?"

Mihawk finally voiced the question that had been on his mind, looking toward Uta in the distance.

"Of course. If you don't believe me, you can go and ask Shanks yourself," Arton said with a grin.

Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind, and he quickly added, "By the way, Mihawk, if you get the chance to meet Shanks again, could you pass on a message for me?"

"Tell him that his daughter is in my care, and he can rest easy."

"And let him know that someday, I'll bring his grandchildren to meet him."

Hearing this, Mihawk froze for a moment in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Uta, who had overheard, blushed furiously and rushed over.

She jumped on Arton, wrapping her arms around his head and locking her legs around his waist, shouting indignantly, "Arton, what are you even saying?!"

"What? Didn't you tell Luffy earlier that we were getting married? And didn't he even say he'd help us with the kids?" Arton teased.

"That's just something Luffy made up himself!" Uta retorted.

"Hehe, don't be shy, Uta. I know you're worried Shanks might object when he finds out, but we'll have to tell him eventually, won't we?"

"There's nothing to tell! Nothing has even happened between us! And if it does, it'll be someday in the far-off future," Uta said, flustered.

"Ah, so you admit it could happen someday?" Arton replied playfully.

"Ugh! I can't argue with you!" Uta pouted, realizing she was losing ground in the banter.

Frustrated, she turned herself around, locking her legs around Arton's neck instead, and perched herself on his shoulders.

Arton, far from being annoyed, seemed to enjoy the situation, casually placing his hands on Uta's smooth, white thighs.
