Chapter 11: Chapter 11 : “The Rising Tide of Chaos”
The world is reeling from the news of Kael Draymour's battle with Vice Admiral Garp. The pirate's name is whispered in fear across the seas, and his bounty of 700 million berries marks him as one of the most dangerous threats in the world.
As the dust settles, Kael prepares to set his next plans into motion.
Fleet Admiral Kong has ordered a heightened state of readiness across all Marine bases.
The battle report between Garp and Kael is circulated among high-ranking officers, and the details only deepen their unease.
Kael grips the ship's rail, the memory of his battle with Garp replaying in his mind.
A faint smirk crosses his lips as he envisions the chaos yet to come.
.
Marineford
Fleet Admiral Kong : "A mere upstart… and yet he left Garp wounded. The implications are troubling."
The decision is made. The World Government now considers Kael Draymour a global threat. Vice Admiral Tsuru strategizes with Kong.
Tsuru : "We cannot afford to treat him like an ordinary pirate. He moves like a warlord but fights like a beast. We need to cut him down before he gains true influence."
Tsuru : "Prepare a Buster Call if necessary. We cannot let him roam free any longer."
The world's greatest powers are now watching Kael's every move. The hunt for the Abyss Dragon has begun.
.
At Sea (Loguetown)
Kael stands on the deck of The Abyss Tempest, watching the horizon as the ship sails away from Syrup Village. The weight of his newfound infamy does not burden him, it excites him.
As the Abyss Tempest disappears into the horizon, the storm of Kael Draymour continues to grow.
Days Later
Kael makes his way into the dark alleys of Loguetown, seeking the underground markets where weapons, information, and forbidden goods are traded. Here, the true power of the city thrives, not in the hands of the Marines, but in the grip of the criminal underworld.
At a secret tavern, he meets with a well-known underworld broker, a cloaked figure known as "Cain the Whisperer", an informant who deals in the trade of secrets.
Cain : "You're a hard man to miss, Kael Draymour. You walk like a storm and leave nothing but ruins in your wake." Nervously says Cain.
Kael : "I need information. About the Marines. About the world. About Rocks."
Cain hesitates but knows better than to deny a man like Kael.
Cain : "The world's in chaos since your battle with Garp. Some say the Marines are assembling an elite force to take you down. The bounty they've placed on you has attracted every pirate-hunting psychopath out there."
Kael smirks. He expected no less.
Cain : "But if you're looking for something bigger, I've heard whispers about Rocks D. Xebec. The underworld is divided, some fear he will consume everything in his quest, while others see him as the inevitable storm that will crush the World Government."
Kael leans forward, intrigued.
Kael : "Where is he?"
Cain hesitates before speaking.
Cain : "There are rumors he's gathering powerful figures. That he's already begun setting things in motion. But no one knows his true location."
Kael is considering his next move. If the world is truly descending into chaos, then he must rise even further to shape it in his own image.
Unbeknownst to Kael, his arrival has not gone unnoticed. Vice Admiral Zephyr, a rising Marine officer with a reputation for his iron will, has been sent to Loguetown on a classified mission
Find and eliminate Kael Draymour. He got information of Kael sighting near Loguetown and he sprint sailing to his whereabouts on a command order of Fleet Admiral Kong
Zephyr, young but already feared among the Marines, stands aboard his battleship, scanning the city as he prepares his next move.
Zephyr : "Deploy reconnaissance teams. If Kael Draymour is here, we capture or eliminate him before he sets foot in the Grand Line." says Zephyr to a marine officer
Marine Officer : "Yes, Vice Admiral"
Marines begin infiltrating the city, setting the stage for a confrontation that will shake Loguetown to its core.
After gathering the information he needs, Kael begins making his way back to The Abyss Tempest, but a heavy tension fills the air. He see a marine warship and grinned.
Suddenly, a Marine scout spots him and blows a signal whistle. Within seconds, squads of Marines flood the streets, blocking his path.
Kael stops, his golden eyes glowing beneath the shadows of his hood.
Marine Captain : "KAEL DRAYMOUR! IN THE NAME OF THE WORLD GOVERNMENT, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!"
Kael doesn't reply. He simply cracks his knuckles, his monstrous aura filling the street with suffocating pressure.
As the Marines close in, the air in Loguetown grows unnaturally heavy. The moment Kael exhales, the street falls silent. A powerful pulse of willpower radiates from him, an unseen force that crashes over the gathered Marines like an unrelenting tidal wave.
BOOM!
A massive shockwave erupts outward, tearing through the streets as the Marines closest to Kael drop like flies, their eyes rolling back, bodies collapsing to the ground. Some froth at the mouth, completely overwhelmed by the sheer pressure of his Conqueror's Haki.
The weaker-willed townspeople fall to their knees, gripping their chests in terror and fall unconscious, while the stronger pirates and marine in the area stagger, struggling to resist the force.
The world around him darkens as his aura spreads. His shadow stretches unnaturally beneath the flickering streetlights, making him appear as a demon rising from the abyss.
In an instant, half the Marines in the area are already unconscious. The remaining soldiers tremble, their rifles shaking in their hands.
.
From the rooftops of a nearby building, Vice Admiral Zephyr watches with narrowed eyes.
Zephyr : "That Haki… so young, yet it's already this strong?"
The sheer intensity of Kael's will reminds him of the monsters in the Grand Line, the kind of men that change history itself.
Zephyr : "This isn't just raw power. He's like… a force of nature."
The Marines captain who still standing cry out in panic and call zephyr through Den - Den Mushi
"V-Vice Admiral Zephyr! We need backup !" called Marine Captain before collapsing.
Zephyr clenches his fists. There's no time to wait. He start to run to the source of power
With a single leap, he launches himself from the rooftop, landing with a thunderous impact right in front of Kael.
The street cracks beneath his feet. For a brief moment, there is silence.
Then, Zephyr smirks. The crowd of Marines and onlookers instinctively back away as the two warriors lock eyes.
Kael watches Zephyr with an unreadable expression. He can feel it—this one is different. Strong. Disciplined. Not easily broken.
Zephyr, despite his usual Marine pride, cannot deny the monstrous aura radiating from Kael. It feels like staring into the abyss itself.
Zephyr : "You must be Kael Draymour. Hmph. Not bad for a rookie."
Kael remains silent, tilting his head slightly.
Kael : "And you are?"
Zephyr cracks his knuckles.
Zephyr : "Vice Admiral Zephyr. And as of today, your executioner." Thunder rumbles overhead. The storm has begun.
The storm above Loguetown rages as two monstrous figures stand face to face. The street, now filled with unconscious Marines, is eerily silent. Kael Draymour, the nightmare pirate, and Vice Admiral Zephyr, the Marine powerhouse, prepare to battle, two forces of nature destined to collide.
A crack of lightning illuminates the sky.
Zephyr moves first.
With a sudden burst of speed, the Marine disappears from sight, his massive fist cocked back and ready to strike.
Zephyr : "DON'T THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK AWAY FROM THIS, PIRATE!"
BOOM!
Zephyr's punch shatters the ground where Kael stood a second ago as he jump away, sending shockwaves through the street. Chunks of stone and debris fly into the air, blasting apart nearby buildings.
Kael sidesteps effortlessly, his purple eyes gleaming through the darkness.
Kael : "You're fast… for a Marine." praised kael sarcastically
Zephyr doesn't hesitate. Using the force from his first attack, he spins and launches another devastating punch, this time infused with Haki.
Kael catches it with one hand.
The impact cracks the air, splitting the rain around them. The sheer force of Zephyr's attack pushes Kael back, but the pirate doesn't flinch, his grip tightens, black scales forming along his arm.
For a brief second, Zephyr's eyes widened.
Kael : "My turn." Smirks Kael.
Before Zephyr can react, Kael's knee slams into his gut with crushing force.
BANG!
Zephyr is sent flying backward, crashing through two buildings before skidding across the wet cobblestone. The Vice Admiral quickly recovers, but Kael is already on the move.
In an instant, Kael appears above him, his leg cloaked in Haki, coming down like a falling meteor.
Zephyr : "Tch!"
He crosses his arms, reinforcing them with Haki, just as Kael's kick slams down.
The entire street craters inward, sending a shockwave that rips through Loguetown, shattering windows and knocking people off their feet.
Smoke and dust fill the air.
As it clears, Zephyr is still standing, his arms smoking from the impact. But there's a visible dent in the ground beneath him, and the veins in his arms bulge as he pushes back against Kael's attack.
Zephyr :"Not bad, kid…as expected, the one who battle garp" grins Zephyr
Kael leaps back, giving Zephyr room to stand.
The Vice Admiral rolls his shoulders, cracking his neck. Suddenly, Zephyr's muscles swell, his Haki intensifies, and his presence doubles in weight.
Kael watches with mild amusement.
Kael : "Good… let's see what you're really made of."
Both warriors charge at each other at full speed, fists and claws colliding with thunderous force.
Kael's dragon-like strength meets Zephyr's Marine battle-hardened fists, each impact sending shockwaves through the city. The surrounding buildings start collapsing, unable to withstand the sheer force of their battle.
Every clash of Haki sends black lightning arcing through the air.
The very storm above them seems to rage harder, responding to the fury of their fight.
Then, Kael grins savagely, his purple eyes burning as he starts transforming.
His skin darkens, his arms elongate, and his body expands as massive black wings burst from his back. A monstrous aura of fear and death floods the battlefield. For the first time, Zephyr hesitates.
Kael : "Let's see if you can handle a dragon, Marine." taunted Kael
With a single beat of his wings, Kael ascends into the sky.
Then, he breathes in. Zephyr's eyes widen.
Zephyr : "SHIT—!" exclaimed Zephyr
A tidal wave of purple hellfire engulfs the battlefield. The sky over Loguetown burns.
Kael, now in his Night Abyss Dragon form, soars above the wreckage, his massive wings casting an overwhelming shadow over the ruined streets. His golden eyes gleam with predatory hunger as he glares down at Zephyr, who barely managed to escape the first wave of hellfire.
Zephyr rolls across the debris-covered street, his coat smoldering from the heat of the flames. His body aches from the previous blows, and the ground beneath him is scorched black from Kael's devastating breath attack.
Zephyr : "Tch… this is bad."
He barely has time to think before Kael strikes again.
Kael : "DIE WITH THE REST OF THEM, MARINE!"
Another torrent of purple fire descends upon him. The temperature spikes, melting the stone buildings instantly as the inferno rushes toward Zephyr.
Zephyr's eyes sharpen.
With a thunderous leap, he bursts out of the flames, avoiding the direct hit—but Kael is relentless.
Kael : "Running already? I thought you were an executioner, Vice Admiral!"
Before Zephyr can regain his footing, Kael dives at him, claws outstretched.
Zephyr barely blocks with his forearms, but the impact launches him through another building. He crashes through walls, wood, and stone, finally slamming into the side of the town's Marine base.
The entire structure quakes from the impact.
Coughing up blood, Zephyr forces himself back up. His Haki-clad arms tremble, and the weight of Kael's attacks starts taking its toll.
But he refuses to fall.
.
.
Kael rises into the sky once more, wings beating against the storm, sending powerful gusts through the battlefield. From his vantage point, he sees Zephyr still standing.
Kael : "Still breathing? Then let's change that." grinned Kael
He inhales deeply, Zephyr's eyes widen.
Kael UNLEASHES—
A barrage of hellfire bombs rains down from above, each explosion obliterating the battlefield, turning entire streets into craters of molten destruction.
Loguetown trembles under the unrelenting assault. The surrounding buildings are reduced to ash. The sky glows with a sickening purple hue as Kael ruthlessly bombards his opponent.
Zephyr sprints across the battlefield, dodging, weaving, evading, but the sheer area of destruction leaves him with fewer places to run.
A massive blast of flame erupts behind him, sending him flying forward. Kael, watching from above, chuckles.
Kael : "What's wrong, Zephyr? Getting tired?"
Zephyr grits his teeth. He knows, if he takes one direct hit from that fire, he's done.
As Kael prepares another attack, Zephyr suddenly stops running. Instead, he stands firm. His muscles tighten. His Haki surges. For the first time in the battle, he takes the offensive. Kael, watching from above, narrows his eyes.
Kael : "Oh? So you still have some fight left in you?"
With a deep breath, Zephyr lowers his stance. His arms glow with advanced Haki, veins bulging as he focuses all his strength into his next attack.
The air around him distorts.
Then…. Zephyr vanishes.
Kael's eyes widen
BAM!!!
A Haki-infused fist slams into Kael's jaw with enough force to shake the entire island. For the first time, Kael is sent flying backward. His massive dragon body spirals through the air, crashing into the burning remains of the town.
A shockwave ripples outward. The storm itself momentarily halts. Kael's massive form bursts through a collapsed tower, sending debris flying.
Kael slowly rises, rolling his bruised jaw. A trail of black blood drips from his mouth, sizzling against the burning ground. He licks the blood off his lips, grinning.
Kael : "Hah… now that's more like it."
Zephyr stands firm, his breathing heavy, his fists still smoking from the impact. The battle is far from over. And Loguetown won't survive much longer.
The once-bustling streets of Loguetown are now a vision of hell.
Buildings crumble into molten rubble, the air is thick with smoke and ash, and the ground trembles beneath the shockwaves of the ongoing battle. The town's residents, men, women, and children, scream in terror as they flee in all directions.
At a marine warship, away from the carnage, a group of Marines stand frozen, watching the destruction unfold.
A Marine recruit, barely out of training, watches with wide, terrified eyes. His superior, a seasoned Lieutenant, grips his shoulder.
"This isn't our fight, boy." The older Marine's voice is grim, his knuckles white.
"We'd be nothing but dust caught between titans."
Another Marine whispers in disbelief: "That… that thing isn't a pirate... it's a demon."
A Marine officer swallows hard, gripping his sword but never drawing it.
"Vice Admiral Zephyr is one of our strongest… and yet, he's struggling."
Even some of the more hardened criminals, men who had laughed at death, now reconsider ever crossing Kael Draymour.
And pirates start getting away from the town running in panic. A pirate, his knees shaking, grips his sword tightly, his breath ragged.
"T-This is… this is beyond anything I've ever seen…"
A notorious pirate captain, known for his arrogance, is now eerily silent, his hands clenched into fists. He watches as Kael, in his monstrous dragon form, continues his relentless assault, his purple flames consuming everything.
.
The storm rages overhead, black clouds swirling as thunder booms across the battlefield.
Zephyr, his coat scorched, his fists bruised, stands firm against the towering monstrosity before him. Kael, in his Night Abyss Dragon form, lets out a deep, guttural growl, his body glowing with violent purple light as embers dance in the air.
The very atmosphere quakes under their combined power. Zephyr wipes the blood from his lip, his Haki-clad fists tightening.
Zephyr : "I won't let a monster like you run free, Kael Draymour!"
Kael lets out a low chuckle, his massive serpentine form slithering through the air as his glowing ribs pulse like a living abyss.
Kael : "Run free? Zephyr… I've already carved my path in blood." as he return to half human half dragon form
And then, they move.
BOOM!
Their clash splits the battlefield in two, the sheer force blowing away debris, waves, and bodies.
Kael's claw swings at Zephyr—
WHOOSH!
The Vice Admiral barely dodges, feeling the air pressure rip apart the ground behind him. Before he can counterattack...
Kael vanishes.
Zephyr's eyes widen as the shadows around him warp, Kael reappears behind him in a blur of darkness.
Kael : "TOO SLOW, MARINE!"
WHAM!
A devastating tail whip slams into Zephyr's back, sending him crashing through multiple buildings. The force craters the street, dust and smoke billowing into the air as civilians scream in terror.
Kael lands with a thunderous boom, his massive form shaking the earth as he slowly stalks toward the fallen Marine.
Kael : "You're strong, Zephyr." His voice is cold, mocking. "But against me… you're just another ember waiting to be snuffed out."
But Zephyr is not done. Through the rubble, a faint glow flickers. Kael narrows his golden eyes as a surging black aura erupts from the debris.
Zephyr emerges, his body coated in a thick, burning layer of Advanced Armament Haki. His eyes burn with a relentless fire as he raises his fists.
Kael grins. : "Hah… You still want to fight? Good."
The air crackles.
Zephyr vanishes in an instant…..
Kael's senses scream as the Vice Admiral appears above him, his fist cocked back, muscles bulging with raw power.
Zephyr slams his Haki-infused fist into Kael's jaw, sending a titanic shockwave rippling through the entire town
Kael's half dragon form is sent flying backward, his head snapping to the side as he plunges into a building that collapses from the impact.
The storm above momentarily breaks apart, revealing the burning sky as Kael crashes into the town square, demolishing everything in his path.
Kael rises from the ruins, rolling his jaw as a thin trickle of black blood drips from his mouth.
He laughs.
Zephyr pants heavily, his arms trembling from exertion.
Kael's purple eyes narrow—
Then, his entire body pulses with raw energy. The purple glow intensifies, his wings stretch outward, and his form distorts as the very fabric of the air around him begins to warp. His voice is deeper, darker.
Kael : "Then let's end this."
The battlefield erupts into chaos once more. The battlefield is a wasteland.
Loguetown lies in ruins, buildings reduced to smoking rubble, the streets littered with debris and flames. The once-bustling island is now a graveyard of destruction, its people either fled, hiding, or unconscious from the sheer force of the battle.
Above it all, two titans stand.
Kael Draymour, in his Night Abyss Dragon form, looms over the wreckage, his blackened scales cracked from battle, his massive form pulsing with dark energy.
Vice Admiral Zephyr stands defiantly, his coat tattered, blood dripping from his knuckles, his entire body trembling from the damage and exhaustion.
But neither refuse to fall, The air is dense with raw power.
This will be their final clash.
.
Kael's purple eyes burn. His massive chest expands, the glow within his transparent ribs intensifying as black fire churns in his throat. The sky trembles as his voice rumbles like an approaching apocalypse.
Kael :"This world will drown in darkness, Zephyr!" as he transform into his nightmare dragon form
Zephyr's fists tighten. His Advanced Armament Haki surges, wrapping his arms in a burning crimson-black aura, the very ground beneath him cracking from the sheer force.
He takes a deep breath, steadying himself.
Zephyr : "As long as I stand, I won't let a monster like you do whatever you want!"
And then…..They move.
Kael rears his head back
Kael : "NIGHTFALL OBLIVION!!!"
A massive, searing purple-black blast erupts from Kael's mouth, a beam of pure destruction, warping the air itself as it tears toward Zephyr.
Zephyr charges forward, his muscles bulging with every last ounce of strength, his fist cocked back….
Zephyr : "HELL'S LAST BULWARK!!!"
With a mighty roar, he swings his Haki-coated fist forward, meeting Kael's apocalyptic blast head-on.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The collision rips through the island, sending a cataclysmic shockwave that splits the sea itself. Mountains crumble, The clouds are torn apart, Ships miles away are blown back.
A massive explosion of energy engulfs the battlefield, consuming everything in a blinding flash of black and purple light.
.
The dust settles, The ocean churns violently, waves crashing against the wreckage of Loguetown.
Zephyr stands, barely conscious, his entire body bruised and bloodied, but still breathing. His right arm trembles from the force of his final attack.
Kael is gone.
The monstrous pirate vanished into the storm, his presence fading into the distant horizon.
A battered Marine officer stumbles toward Zephyr. "V-Vice Admiral… did we win?"
Zephyr exhales deeply, his vision blurry as he watches the distant sky as he collapse
"No…" he mutters, voice hoarse. "He'll be back."
The storm rages on.
