One Piece : Herald of the Abyss

Years Ago….somewhere on the Sea 

The scene begins with silence, an all encompassing, deafening void. Kael's consciousness drifts in darkness, weightless, suspended between worlds. Faint whispers echo around him, unintelligible yet haunting, as though the universe itself is mocking him.

Suddenly, the silence is shattered. A thunderous crack splits the void, and Kael is violently pulled through a swirling vortex of shadows and light. He feels his body tearing apart and reforming, his mind flooded with fragmented images of a world unknown vast seas, colossal beasts, and the burning gaze of an unrelenting sun.

Then, as abruptly as it began, it ends.

Kael is no ordinary traveler between worlds. His arrival is marked by an unnatural storm, a swirling vortex of dark clouds and purple lightning. He washes ashore on a desolate island, gasping for air, his body trembling as he feels the strange energy coursing through his veins for the first time.

Kael awakens facedown on the coarse sand of a desolate island. The salty tang of the sea fills his lungs as he coughs violently, gasping for air. His body is weak, trembling as he struggles to his knees.

Kael clutches his head, groaning as a sharp pain pierces his mind. He remembers his old life, a mundane, powerless existence filled with unfulfilled dreams and bitter regrets. And then... nothing. Only the sensation of falling and waking up here, wherever "here" is.

Kael: "This... this isn't Earth. This isn't my world. Where am I? What is this place?"

Kael looks up and freezes. Towering in the distance is a strange, jagged mountain, its peak glowing faintly with an unnatural purple light. The sight draws him in, an inexplicable pull urging him forward. He stumbles to his feet, his body battered but his resolve firm.

a barren shoreline littered with jagged rocks and blackened driftwood. The ocean roars behind him, its waves unnaturally turbulent. The sky above is a chaotic swirl of dark clouds streaked with violet lightning, as if the world itself is rejecting his presence.

As he walks, he notices the strangeness of this new world. The air is heavy, thick with an energy he can't explain.

Kael stumbles through the island, his memories fragmented. The island is barren, lifeless, but there is something primal about it, an aura of dread. 

Kael's journey leads him to the mountain, where he discovers a narrow cave entrance hidden among the jagged rocks. The pull he felt intensifies, an almost physical force drawing him into the darkness.

He collapses near a cave, drawn to the faint purple glow emanating from within.

The cave is ancient, its walls lined with strange carvings that glow faintly as he passes. The symbols are incomprehensible, yet they feel oddly familiar, as though they speak to something buried deep within him.

He then stands up forcefully and goes inside the cave, there are voices calling him… and with his confusion on what is happening he can only follow his instinct who is telling him to follow the voice to the source of energy he's feeling.

At the cave's heart, he finds a small stone shrine, its surface cracked and weathered with age. Atop the shrine rests a single object: a fruit unlike anything he has ever seen.

Kael: "What the fuck, you gotta be kidding me.. Is this what i think this is" exclaimed Keal looking at the strange object in front of him

His mind is going on a hundred miles an hour, thinking about how this could be.. Did he transmigrate to the world of One Piece? The World where he knows very well

Because there is no mistaken from the strange phenomenon thats going on outside that he just realize its quite strange and the existence of the object in front of him

Kael : "How could this be…this must be the gods playing joke on me"

Kael knows he is not dreaming, because of the pain hes feeling all over his body and his soaked clothes from water that he feels. There's no way this is a dream, if it is he must be awaken by now because of all the pain he feeling right now

Suddenly, there is a voice in his head

Kael : "Huh, who are you? "Asked Kael

Voices : "Do not fear my child.. This is the destiny that you have been destined with"

Kael :" What do you mean? Destiny ? Who are you ?" asked Kael

Voices : "you don't need to know our name, all you need to know is …. Run wild my child, change this world to what you want it to be, the devil fruit in front of you is the gift i gave to you, as it is your destiny to bear the power of mine and claim what is used to be mine"

Kael : "Used to be yours ?" asked Kael

Voices : "That's Right, every soul belongs to the abyss as it is written in the great sacred books and their time has been destined, but.. theres is people who cheats their destiny and reverse its trial and gain more than they should have"

Kael : "Cheats their destiny ? Did you mean immortality ?"

Voices : "You are Correct, and i'm sure you know who and why in this world capable of such thing"

Kael : ….. "Yeah, I know very well what you mean. But how could this be ? isn't this world just …. A fiction, a man made story of someone else?" asked Kael

Voices : "Haahah, very naive of you… of course it is, but what you don't know is, that this world is very-very real as you can see, feel and hear around you..just like you the creator of the story capable of knowing and writing it is because of a blessing that we bestow upon him"

Voices : "What it means, he doesn't create this world or anything in it,... he just foretale what he can see from this world and recite it from visual prowess that he has so that you know about this world"

Kael : "Now Way ... .is that mean he ?....asked Kael, surprised.

Voices : " Yes.. it is us who created everything.. Including you and your world before.. And it is also us who give the blessing bestow upon others to be able to see other worlds beyond their comprehension… as it is our will, and so it happen" 

Kael was brought to silence from the revelation that he just heard.

Kael : "Are you…. You know,... God ?" asked Kael in soft spoken.

Voices : " Hahaah, no my child,,, we are more divine than them.. Before there is light … there is us." 

Kael : "I see… so what do you need me for ? if you want to take care of the cheater of this world ? Why don't you do it yourself if you have the power?Why still need me, a human ?" asked Kael

Voices : "It's more interesting that way…and .. it is our will for you, a very capable soul"

Kael :"A capable soul ?" asked Kael

Voices : "A child who born from darkness that surround him, but doesnt let it destroy his faith, doesn't know fear, we wonder what a soul like that be capable off and we may already know the answer"

Hearing this Kael remembers all his experience in his past life on earth. But that is a story for future relevance.

Voices : " Not every human can have the power to talk to us and not going crazy and lose their minds over it…you talking to us and don't show that symptom already makes you…unique, and so we want to give you the blessing and the chance to unleash all of what you've been dreaming off all this time"

Kael : " So…. What do you want me to do?" asked Kael

Voices : "&*(%^$^^(*&(&(*&%…." answer the Voices

Kael : "I see…." Kael looked very surprised by the answer with bulging eyes..

Kael look at The Devil Fruit on front of him

The Mythical Zoan Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Night Abyss Dragon pulses faintly, its black surface veined with glowing purple energy. It seems alive, as though waiting for him. Kael steps closer, his hand trembling as he reaches out to touch it.

Kael hesitates, his mind racing. The whispers, louder now, urging him to take the fruit. He remembers the emptiness of his old life and the conversation he just had, the powerlessness, the despair. And now, here he stands, on the precipice of something greater.

Kael : "A second chance... is that what this is? Or is this a curse? No. It doesn't matter. Whatever this is, it's mine now."

With a resolute gaze, Kael picks up the fruit and takes a bite. The taste is foul, bitter beyond comprehension, but he swallows it down. The moment he does, his body convulses.

A surge of raw, unrelenting power floods Kael's body. He collapses to the ground, screaming as his veins glow with purple light. His skin darkens, scales beginning to form across his arms and chest. His eyes burn with golden fire, and his mouth releases an unearthly roar that shakes the cave to its core.

The transformation is short but agonizing, leaving Kael sprawled on the cave floor, gasping for air. He looks at his hands, now clawed and blackened, and feels the immense energy coursing through him.

He staggers out of the cave, the glowing fruit's remnants left behind, and looks out at the horizon. The storm above intensifies, and Kael feels a strange sense of belonging, for the first time in his life, he feels powerful.

Kael stands on the cliffside, staring out at the endless sea. His mind is a whirlwind of questions, fears, and desires, but one thought rises above them all

Kael : "This is my second chance. I won't waste it. No one will stand in my way. Not in this world." Thought Kael in his mind.

Kael's silhouette against the stormy sky, the faint glow of his newfound power illuminating the darkness around him. The scene ends with the sound of thunder and the faint roar of a dragon echoing into the distance.

Approximately 150 meters (500 feet) when standing upright, towering over most structures and naval vessels. Wingspan of roughly 200 meters (650 feet), with wings so large that they create massive gusts of wind capable of toppling ships and buildings with a single flap.From head to tail, the dragon measures around 180 meters (590 feet), with a long, spiked tail that extends far behind and can be used as a devastating weapon.

At this size, the Night Abyss Dragon is a living disaster, capable of rivaling island-level threats like Sea Kings of the Calm Belt or ancient weapons.

Kael : "Chaos of the Abyss…." Kael softly speaks.
