One Piece - Life Choice Ask Me to Kiss Marine Goddes Hina

Chapter 186: 186 Whitebeard Guest, Blackbeard’S Dark Day

Choose one: there are ten Lifespan Fruits, each worth 100,000 points in the mall! Eating one can increase your lifespan by ten years.

To put it simply, if Whitebeard were ten years younger and his body wasn't in so much pain, he might have been able to turn the tide at the Summit War.

It might be unrealistic for him to kill Akainu, but he could have saved Ace.

Looking back at the Summit War, Lynch, acting as a king, actually felt some sympathy for Akainu.

While Sengoku could have wiped out the entire Blackbeard Pirates with a single punch, but he couldn't do much against Luffy and even ended up dismantling the execution platform.

The only two times Garp took action were when he was punched away by his grandson Luffy and once when he actually wanted to kill Akainu.

Akainu said, "Hey guys, I'm going to fight five people in the promotion competition, but you're just pretending to be Marines and planning to betray me!"

Among the three Admirals, only Akainu was serious; the other two were acting.

Aokiji could have defeated Luffy, but instead, he kicked him back into Whitebeard's hands. He was worried Luffy might die by his side, so he spent most of the fight trying to figure out what to do.

Akainu kept charging forward, Aokiji kept holding back. Akainu fought Whitebeard, while Aokiji still held back.

Even when Akainu was about to be beaten to death by Whitebeard, Aokiji was still holding back.

Lynch finally understood why Aokiji was beaten so badly by Akainu during their fight for the position of Admiral. It all made sense now.

Kizaru truly lives up to his reputation as an actor, and he's the most exaggerated one at that.

On the surface, he might seem intimidating, but deep down, he just wants his nephew to escape quickly.

If he can avoid hitting a vital spot, he'll make sure not to shoot Luffy.

And if he can kick Luffy, he'll wait until someone rescues him before landing the blow. When he was pointed at by a small pistol, he completely lost his composure.

Honestly, he was just acting like a fool.

After the fight, Akainu was seriously injured and was coughing up blood, Aokiji had some minor injuries, and Kizaru's clothes were only a little dirty.

Out of the five strongest marines fighters, four of them were just playing a role.

Unfortunately, Akainu is the only one who is honest, speaks the boldest words, and ends up getting the harshest beatings.

Option 2, while offering a powerful Supreme Sword, doesn't compare to the consequences of starting a war with the Whitebeard Pirates.

Only a fool would take on the pointless task of killing Teach in this situation. Right now, Teach probably still appears as a good son in Whitebeard's eyes.

Lynch has his own plans for this "Killing Dad" pirate in the future.

As for Option 3: Reducing Blackbeard's JJ by 1cm? For some reason, Lynch is really tempted to choose this one.

In the end, with his "amazing" perseverance, he gave up letting Blackbeard reduce 1cm fighting chicken and choose Option 1 instead.

"Hey, who's that person? He looks really popular. Can you invite him to sit with me?" Lynch asked, pointing.

Marco followed his finger and saw Teach eating a Sakura peach pie.

"Oh, that's Teach, just an ordinary crew member on our ship," Marco replied.

"Since you want to know him, let him come sit with you."

"Vista, please go call Teach over," Marco instructed.

"Hey, hey, hey! Captain Marco, I heard you called me?" Teach said, smiling with an innocent, almost childish grin.

At least in Whitebeard's eyes, Teach was just like that — a simple, good-natured guy.

"It's Lynch. He said he wanted to invite you to sit with him because he noticed you and wanted to get along," Marco said casually.

He patted Teach's arm, trying to ease any nerves. "You're lucky the Emperor of West Blue wants to know you. All the sons of the sea are brothers. Go sit next to him."

"Hello, Emperor Lynch. Your name is just as great as Pops, and I'm glad to finally meet you in person," Teach said, sitting down next to Lynch with his usual kind and honest smile.

If Lynch hadn't known what kind of person Teach was, he might have been fooled.

Blackbeard had been wearing that same innocent smile for years, so deeply ingrained in his act that even Whitebeard couldn't see through it.

Unfortunately, a later incident involving the Dark Fruit revealed Blackbeard's true nature.

Otherwise, he might have lived his life as a filial son and a loyal crew member.

No one is perfect when it comes to the heart. If Blackbeard could have kept up his act as a good son, then despite his cunning and sinister traits, he would have been seen as honest and virtuous.

At 34 years old, Blackbeard perfectly exemplifies the idea of a late bloomer.

"Yes, the head is round, and indeed quite huge," Lynch remarked, his gaze focused on Blackbeard's oversized head.

"Zeehahaha, thank you, Lord Lynch, for the compliment," Blackbeard chuckled on the outside, but inside, he was complaining.

Why does this Emperor of West Blue keep staring at my black, flowing hair?

[Ding! Teach's negative emotions +1.]

"Little Blackbeard, I hope you don't mind me calling you that," Lynch said, casually draping an arm over Blackbeard's shoulder.

"The master comes first, of course I don't mind," Blackbeard replied with a naive smile.

[Ding! Teach's negative emotions +1.]

Seeing Lynch and his son getting along so well, Whitebeard felt at ease and chose not to interrupt.

"Alright, Little Blackbeard, do you ever feel like your current hairstyle doesn't suit you?" Lynch asked.

"Not suitable for me?" Teach wondered internally but smiled and replied, "Yeah, yeah, I don't think it suits me either."

"Then how about I design a new hairstyle for you? I'll make you look twenty years younger and absolutely handsome," Lynch said confidently.

"Let me tell you, back when I was with the Marines, even Sengoku's pet sheep came to me for a trim. That's a secret most people don't know."

"My skills were unbeatable at Marine Headquarters."

"Shaving wool? Cutting goat hair??" Teach thought, confused.

[Ding! Blackbeard's negative emotions +2.]

"Well...thank you, Emperor of West Blue," Blackbeard said, reluctantly agreeing to keep up his good-guy persona.

It's just a haircut, Teach thought. He couldn't imagine how bad it could turn out.

Whitebeard watched them with a satisfied look, seeing how quickly their bond was growing. After just a few words, they were already talking about haircuts.

"Teach, the Emperor of West Blue himself is cutting your hair. This is something you'll be able to brag about for years," Marco cheered from the side.

"Yes, yes! Captain Marco is right. Thank you, Emperor of West Blue, for giving me this chance."

"Ahem, get ready, I'm starting now." Lynch said as he reached into his clothes and pulled out an electric clipper from the system space.

Teach felt relieved seeing Lynch pull out the clippers. People who carry tools can't be too bad at their craft, right?

"Okay, don't move now, otherwise it won't look good."

Lynch raised the clippers and lowered them, with a loud "sizzle", and a large piece of flowing long hair fell from Blackbeard's head, revealing the bare scalp underneath.

Teach felt a chill on his head as he watched his hair fall away.

"Emperor of West Blue, are you sure this is okay? Actually, I think it's fine if we skip the haircut..."
