Chapter 2: Unknown Island
Feeling a light in front of him, Lee grasped at it and suddenly, he felt sand. Opening his eyes, Lee looked up at the sky as his eyes adjusted to the light. He saw the blue sky with many clouds, sitting up, he looked around and saw that he was on the beach.
He was on an island from the looks of it, standing up, he looked at his body. He was at most only 6-years-old. Scrawny, but touching his hair, it was red just like his last life. Feeling his hoarse throat, he felt a water pouch on his side.
Grabbing it, he drank half the pouch and wiped his mouth. Accessing his surroundings, he saw the forest and felt some weird palpitations coming from there. First thing first, Lee sat on the ground and meditated.
He wanted to see if he had any spiritual energy or demonic energy left. He was annoyed and helpless as he felt no sort of energy except three distinct feelings. Feeling these three feelings, he remembered the three types of haki in One Piece.
Touching the first feeling, he felt his arms turn harder and had a black glow on it but it went by as fast as it appeared. "It seems, my body cannot maintain it..."
Touching the second feeling, he felt that he could see everywhere around him in a 360 degree but then he stopped as his body felt weak. "Damn, my body is so weak," said Lee to himself.
Touching the last feeling, he felt a shock explode out of his body quickly and then dissipate in the air but some animals felt it and were threatened. Getting up, his stomach growled, he searched the beach for crabs and found two.
Breaking their shells with a rock, he cooked them on an open fire. During the war with the Heavenly Sect, he learned a lot about survival from his friend who died. Eating the cooked crabs, he felt some energy come back.
"Strength, only in this world, strength is the answer for everyone and anything. It is necessary for a peaceful life." Lee then began stretching and doing some normal exercises. Struggling to do even 10 pushups, Lee kept going, even if it hurt his bones.
Unable to continue after 50 pushups, he slept on the ground. Luckily, no animal ate him. Waking up feeling sore, he decided to enter the forest. Marking his trail with branches, he slowly walked into the forest.
Using his senses, he could feel some eyes watching him, but he didn't care. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a flying cat came at him with its teeth bare. Lee was shocked but not dumb, so he rolled out of the way and the cat slammed into a tree.
Lee quickly ran towards the cat and punched the cat in the face using all his strength but all it did was to make the cat more angry. Backing up, Lee was annoyed, his body was so weak and still sore from yesterday.
The cat lunged at Lee but he narrowly dodged, clutching his stomach, Lee threw some of his blood onto the cat's eyes. Dodging a claw slash, the cat slammed into a rock and was dazed a bit.
Taking this chance, Lee tried something, he punched the cat with full force but at the time of contact, he activated armament haki on his hand for that second. A black fist sent the cat into the world of dreaming.
Clenching his fist, Lee felt the pain, it was like lightning in his arm. Sighing, Lee took a sharp stick and made sure the cat was in the dream world forever. Skinning and preparing the cat, he roasted it over fire and ate it.
It tasted weird, like chicken but with less moisture. "Maybe I overcooked it? Oh well, better safe than sorry, I don't know what kind of viruses they have, or parasites."
Washing his hands in the ocean, he suddenly felt his muscles grow as the nutrients built his muscles one by one. "Is this the...life return? Haha, to think, I could comprehend it just by eating a cat."
The sore muscles on his body began to repair and began to grow stronger, Lee felt more hungry but he was excited at this moment. Activating the armament haki on his hand, he felt the color was darker and a bit more refined than before.
He could hold it longer as well, 5 seconds longer but that was crucial for him since he was still too weak.
10 months later...
Punching a cliff that was as big as a mountain, the bottom was hollowed out by what looked like fists. A 7-year-old was punching the cliff with his bare hands, it was bleeding but he had a look of determination on his face.
The pain was only part of training, Lee then used his strongest power and punched the cliff, making another hole into its side. Behind Lee, was trees, and in the middle of the trees was a giant skeleton of an ape.
The giant ape was the king of the island, he had terrifying strength and a club made of sea stone. During the 9th month on his birthday, he challenged the giant ape.
Flashback...
"Come out you dumb ape!"
The giant ape jumped down from the mountain onto the ground making it crack. The giant ape was 20 meters tall and 30 meters wide with muscles bulging out of his fur. The fur was black with hints of blood on it, Lee activated the armament haki on his fists and used shave.
When Lee was remembering his knowledge of One Piece, he remembered that if you want to perform shave, you have to step on the ground 10 times in an instant. With his hard work and fighting every day, he almost mastered shave.
Shaving in front of the giant ape, he jumped up and punched the ape's jaw. The ape was confident this little thing couldn't hurt him, so he let the thing hit him but the ape then saw some stars as he felt his body tilt and fall onto the ground.
Clenching his arm as it was vibrating, "Dang, this guy's jaw is hard."
The giant ape rubbed his jaw and got up glaring at Lee who was in front of him rubbing his hand. Picking up his club, he swung it, and a huge wind flew towards Lee who almost didn't dodge it.
Clutching the ground, he used shave but with more power and appeared behind the giant ape. Feeling something behind him, the giant ape looked behind him and saw a fist coming towards his face.
Unleashing the strongest punch he could muster, he focused all of his armament haki onto his fist and punched the ape's temple.
A huge crash was heard shaking the forest, the ape's head was caved in and Lee's hand was broken. Hearing the ape's fading heartbeat, he began to cook the ape and ate it recovering his hand as they mended using life return.
Feeling his strength take another step, he finally consciously released his conqueror's haki and it spread two miles but it was quite weak as it dissipated quickly. Lee felt a block, a barrier in his soul.
Since the conqueror's haki is based on the will of the soul, as it attacks the will of others, his soul was tempered a lot. Shouldn't he have a lot of haki? Lee then found out why, he had a barrier.
So, the next month, he just kept punching this cliff to surpass his limits...
