After deciding on their goals, the witches concluded their lessons for the day and each returned to their busy lives.

Alice did not leave, but stayed in the church, as the two had once again become stepsisters with different fathers and mothers.

As Dorothy walked out of the church, she immediately saw Father Adam and the loli Vampire Queen Lilith returning together from outside.

She first glanced at Lilith, who looked exactly like her stepmother from her memories. Dorothy noticed that the vampire queen, though physically petite, radiated the aura of a queen. She was glowing with happiness, intimately holding Adam's hand, her eyes filled with fulfilled dreams.

Looking at Adam...

emmmm... Well, the once tall and handsome priest now seemed somewhat lethargic as he walked, likely suffering from the aftereffects of losing his strength earlier.

Yeah, that must be it.

"Welcome back, Father, and Mother Superior."

Since she was anticipating a favor from them, the Homebody Witch greeted the two parents at the door with an especially sweet voice, acting very dutifully.

At this point, calling them "father" and "mother" did not stress her out anymore; after all, when it was just Adam before, she had wondered if it were merely a coincidence. But now, with the appearance of Lilith, she was pretty certain her birth was shrouded in mystery.

Father Adam and the Vampire Queen Lilith, for sure, had some ties with the future Mage Adam and the Vampire Sorceress Annie.

Especially since Dorothy had already confirmed this with Alice to be safe.

The first two parts of the little witch's True Name are "Alice Lilith," not "Alice Annie," which is peculiar and doesn't conform to the normal naming convention of the witches,

to which the little witch replied, "Mother Superior is indeed named Lilith. It's her formal name, but she seems not to like it much, hence she chose the name Annie for herself."

So, you're telling me all these are just coincidences?

Well, others might believe it, but Dorothy definitely didn't; she sensed a deliberate orchestration.

Although the thought of having her origin orchestrated was chilling, Dorothy wasn't much bothered by it.

After all, there wasn't much she could do to change it.

Indeed, reincarnation is a real concept in the Witch World, an inherent feature of the Underworld System. However, even the Undead Witches who manage the Underworld System do not have the authority to interfere with its operations arbitrarily.

Her first round might have actually involved being the childhood sweetheart of the Divine King but died unexpectedly. Thus, after the Divine King ascended, he used his supreme power to orchestrate her reincarnation, allowing her family to be together again.

Yeah, that's very likely, but Dorothy had no evidence and certainly didn't have the courage to confront her beloved sister face-to-face.

The Homebody Witch's thoughts spun hundreds of turns in her mind, while outside, Adam and Lilith had no idea what the little nun was contemplating.

Father simply looked at his exceptionally well-behaved daughter today, feeling quite uneasy, as Dorothy rarely called him "father." Something felt off, as if the mischievous child was up to something again.

And seeing Lilith, who was holding his hand, turning to look at him with a suddenly kind smile,

"You are really a fine child, so unlike your disagreeable mother."

The Vampire Queen was very pleased with the Homebody Witch calling her "Mother Superior." This stepdaughter, initially not so favorable in her eyes, had suddenly become quite appealing.

"Come on, what cunning scheme are you brewing now? Do tell."

Of course, as the Deputy City Lord of the City of Sin, Lilith wouldn't be easily fooled by just a flattery; she saw right through her stepdaughter's intentions.

But being straightforward by nature and not fond of beating around the bush, she simply laid it out.

If the matter wasn't too troublesome, she didn't mind offering help, especially since that heartfelt "Mother Superior" really warmed her heart, putting her in a very good mood.
